Benco Concrete power-washed and re-sealed our stamped concrete patio and we were delighted with the result! They did a great job and paid close attention to detail. Sheldon even had a cool idea to add a darker border, which looks awesome. We're really happy with how everything turned out.

On March 19, Benco Concrete signed a contract with me to replace my asphalt driveway with an Aggregate concrete driveway. The work was completed in June , and we agreed to make the payment in December . However, within a month, we discovered a hole on the driveway and I reported the issue to *** who is the owner of Benco Concrete. *** assured me multiple times through text messages that he would come and fix it. We continued texting back and forth for over a year, but he never provided a solution or repaired the driveway. According to the warranty, his work is guaranteed for at least one year, and the defect was identified within a month of the completion of the project.

They took my money but didn't do the job. I had a bad experience with their worker Alexandre R. He's not reliable, always making excuses and trying to push things. He came and dug a hole in my backyard right away, making us trust him to take our money. He said he would come back the following week to pour the concrete, but that never happened. Now we're stuck with a big problem because we have kids in the area. It's summer and all the other contractors are busy, so we can't even hire someone else to fix the mess he left behind.

Benco concrete took my money and said they'd come in 12 weeks, but they didn't show up for 6 months. When they finally finished paving my driveway, it doesn't drain properly when it rains. The water just sits there, and Sheldon said there's nothing he can do about it. Other concrete companies I consulted said his work was sloppy and that the drainage issue is his fault. Benco also got concrete all over my house, and when I brought it up to Sheldon, he said my house was already a mess and it wasn't their fault. They charged me 150% more than their initial quote without mentioning the increase beforehand. Sheldon insulted my family and my home, and the quality of their work is really poor.

If you confront Sheldon about his shoddy craftsmanship, you'll see his true colors, and it's not a pretty sight.

I asked a bunch of concrete companies for quotes to do a bunch of stuff at my house like the front porch, front walkway, side walkway, making the driveway bigger, and a new garage floor. I liked Sheldon right away because he knew a lot and gave me different options that made sense for my house and were cheap. I paid the deposit in February and we wanted to start in May. But because of COVID, we had to wait until July. The Benco crew had some problems at first, like working in a heat wave and one of their machines broke. I don't know how they worked in the heat and with the broken machine, but they did a lot of extra work. Sheldon had to rent a compressor/jack hammer to finish the demo work and some of the concrete in the garage was thicker than expected! It was a big mess and took longer than planned. It was frustrating sometimes, but Sheldon communicated well and fixed any concerns I had. There was a mistake on the side walkway, but Sheldon had his crew fix it the next day. In the end, Sheldon stuck to the contract and didn't charge extra, even with all the problems. Everything looks great and we're really happy with the work. Our neighbors like it too and even some contractors stopped by to talk about how they made the concrete look so cool. Thanks Sheldon and crew Ed, Chris, Blake, and Jerry - you guys did a great job!
