Fair price on a complex troubleshooting job. Easy to work with. Extensive status updates on arrival times. Highly experienced tech. Willing to explain in detail what he is doing so you understand. Was able to schedule quickly, 24 hours compared to "next week" from other company. I'll use them again, I am now in their maintenance program

David, the technician assigned to my job (installation of water heater and various repairs to plumbing fixtures) was professional and transparent. He explained the details of the job, benefits and drawbacks of various approaches, and worked countless hours to get my hybrid water heater installed before the holiday weekend. The estimate that Beacon provided was over $2,000 less than the other company I received a quote from and the terms of its service (longer warranty) were more generous.

I had a very positive experience with Krisitna (Customer Service) and Joseph W. (Electrical Technician) from Beacon Home Services. I recently had an electrical issue where I lost power at a critical time. Both were sympathetic and showed concern for my issue. Joseph spent several hours working to diagnose the issue and ultimately recommending a solution that will address the issue for years to come. Kristina followed up with a service call when the work was completed. I would recommend Beacon for any electrical issue in your home or business.

After clear communication on the phone with their service rep and my written request to be sure the maintenance tech brings a repair kit for a pressure regulator valve, the tech arrived without it…And wanted to charge to replace the whole valve which is likely not necessary. The simple part that I requested would have to be ordered and installed another day (I already waited all day until evening for this visit). The technicians estimated cost to do this quick and easy repair was outrageous (nearly 4 times their on-line estimate). Then the quote to replace the whole valve was even more outrageous). He said it was a $600 valve…but the valves can be bought most anywhere on line for between $100-160. I felt taken advantage and refused service. But I still had to pay the $59 dispatch fee which was basically a waist of money to be treated this way.

A+++++ service. 5 stars all around from customer service representatives (Kristina and Rebecca) and technicians (Jacob and Ben). Beacon Home Services jumped in to saved the day with a last minute next day service to replace a company which had 2 no shows schedule appointments with no communications of not able to met their scheduled appointments. Electrical services included fuse box electrical wires were installed incorrectly, worked performed prior to purchase of my home, that should not passed inspection, to prevent an electrical fire. Additional work included electrical work for the air handler wires connections to prevent electrical wires; GFI installs in all bathrooms to meet code; led mirror and replacement lighting for my daughter's zen / beauty room for encouraging her desire to go to college as a designer and entrepreneur. Communications included appointment reminder, updates for arrival time, and included a safety measure of a picture and name of my technician. Truly valuable! I can't thank this team enough!

I trust Beacon Home Services. I've used them at least three times to help me fix electrical problems at my house. The first two problems came with the house when I bought it, but the most recent was a problem I created when my attempts at switch and outlet installation and replacement exceeded my capability. Because Beacon had done such great work for me in the past, I didn't hesitate to call them when I realized I might be making a small problem larger. The Beacon technician, Zach G, arrived on time and gave me a quick rundown on what he was going to do. Zach is a knowledgeable professional, and after only a few minutes of troubleshooting, discovered the cause of the problem. He explained the reasonable fee associated with the repair, fixed the problem quickly, and then cleaned up the wire clippings and the small amount of dust that resulted from his work. He even gave me a brief technical lesson as he worked. Zach was friendly and professional. I was very pleased with the work he did. Beacon will continue to be the company I call when I need help with my home's electrical system or plumbing.
