I was double charged for a seasonal item from the catalog on 10/9/23.They sent an email on 10/14 to me acknowledging this double charge and that they would credit my card back in 10 business days. I called and emailed customer service on 10/25, 10/31 and 11/6 to complain that I never got a credit back. Each time I called customer service I got the same response. They would send a note to the billing department and I should get my money credited back to my card in 5 business days. On 11/6 they made a slight change and after a lengthy back and forth they claimed that a charge reversal went through on 10/26. I told them that did not happen. I called my credit card to verify and the credit card said there was no charge reversal.

I recently bought a book from Bas Bleu, The Great Circle by Maggie Shipstead, for $27. However, when I received my package, I was disappointed to find that I had been sent a different book, Circling the Sun by Paula McLain, in a cheaper paperback edition listed for $17. This was a big letdown for me, as I was really looking forward to reading the book I had ordered.

To make matters worse, the sweatshirt I had also ordered from Bas Bleu was of poor quality and was sent in the wrong size. I was really disappointed with the overall quality of my order and felt like I had wasted my money.

Despite these issues, I will say that the customer service at Bas Bleu was helpful in resolving the issue with the sweatshirt. They offered to send me a replacement in the correct size, which was a relief. However, I still feel like the mistake with the book was a major oversight and left me feeling dissatisfied with my experience.

Overall, I would say that Bas Bleu has some work to do in terms of quality control and ensuring that customers receive the correct items. While the customer service was helpful in resolving one of my issues, I still feel like my overall experience was not up to par. I would be hesitant to order from Bas Bleu again in the future.
