So easy to obtain a loan with extremely high interest rate. Paying off the loan is another story! In order to pay extra down on principal and or pay off the loan, you are required to submit a written request using THEIR verbiage. Once accepted, a date is confirmed for the payment. I filed a written request to pay down the principal and save on interest. Later the same day, I submitted a request to pay off the loan. Both requests were accepted. Within one day, the payment on principal was withdrawn from my bank and applied to the principal. I called to verify the payoff date and confirm the loan would be paid in full. On the pay off date, my regular payment was taken out of my account and, Three days later... my loan still isn't paid off. When I called to find out why or what was going on... I basically got a scripted explanation and everyone I spoke with was extremely misleading. I am certainly going to have my attorney review my situation and get an opinion on BHG Financial practices... as with any other loan I have paid off, I call and request a 10 day payoff... then pay off the loan within the 10 day period. Simple and easy. With BHG Financial, you are jumping through hoops and are mislead in every way, shape and form. STAY AWAY FROM BHG Financial!
