I gived B&B Pools a $4,000 deposit and they said I could get it back if we didn't do the project

I gived B&B Pools a $4,000 deposit and they said I could get it back if we didn't do the project. I want $3,000 back now. Here's why: (1) The job costs more now because of the economy and material prices, so we can't afford it. (2) I found out after they made the proposal that there were overhead wires and we need to run underground wire and pay for that and connection to ***. They didn't notice this and it wasn't in the original SOW. My experience with B&B was good and I would recommend them. My rep was easy to talk to. I just want $3,000 back. I wrote to my rep twice since March 6th and haven't heard back in a month. Thanks.
