Arrow Roofing Services

Company refuses to refund $4,298.61 deposit for siding on my home. They didn't start or finish the project but won't give back the cash. Problem date: October 1. Arrow completed my roof on my house due to an insurance claim. I have a separate claim for hail damage. Arrow Roofing Services said they would side the house. I picked out colors etc. with company reps *** and ***. On August 20, with no warning, siding was delivered to my home. On August 24, I contacted *** for a schedule start time. He said he would contact *** to get me a start date "ASAP." The next time I heard back from Arrow was on September 1, saying they were going to start the siding on Thursday or Friday (9/3 or 9/4) and could I give them the first check for the siding. I was amazed that they were going to start on Labor Day weekend. My bank sent a check to their Michigan office for the siding $4,298.61 on September 3rd. On September 15th, I called *** to ask why they haven't started. First *** said they were waiting to start but they needed info from my insurance company about siding around certain windows, but they've been trying to reach them with no luck. Today the siding company came to pick up the siding. When I spoke with ***, I asked for my funds back. *** said Arrow wouldn't return my money because the insurance company hadn't finished the final part of the roof. What? Separate claims. Also today I called my insurance company who said Arrow hasn't submitted the final paperwork on the roof. I think they're acting fraudulently and unprofessionally.
