I got a new home last year
I got a new home last year. I had some problems with water leaking and bugs coming in through the sliding glass door. They told me different things like "get an exterminator" or "this is Florida, nothing is wrong" or "we don't know how to fix it". This has been going on since August . I have been really patient with Armstrong. They took 3 months longer to finish the house and over 6 months to fix the flooring. They had to rip it all out because it was installed wrong. They also fixed a drip edge by nailing it. Now, with my sliding glass door, they have seen it many times but they don't know who can fix it?! They also said they don't get my warranty requests. They told me things like "something is wrong with the warranty site" or "the records were all deleted by someone (when they left Armstrong)". I sent them a letter last week, which was delivered on Saturday, July 3. I called today and they told me they didn't know who or how to fix it.
Armstrong homes been building my home for like 12 months now
Armstrong homes been building my home for like 12 months now. They said it would be done in 9 months but it's been excuse after excuse. They even said they wished they used materials on another job because I've been so vocal about it. They're not professional and I don't want them to contact me anymore because they're so unprofessional. No one should work with them. My husband is deployed and they keep extending the completion date. They're not honest or professional. My construction loan matures on 1/22/22 and they're saying it will take several more weeks. They don't communicate well and they're not honest. My husband is deployed and I'm taking care of my three boys by myself. Another holiday passed and we still don't have a home to celebrate in. I'm so done with their dishonesty and unprofessionalism. I paid them to do a job and they're not completing it. They even installed the wrong cabinets and still want to charge me full price. I just want the job done already.
I got a house from Armstrong Homes in July
I got a house from Armstrong Homes in July . After a couple of weeks, we had issues with the main bathroom toilet backing up. They said a plumber was coming to check it out, but he just drove up and said it wasn't the toilet. The guest bathroom tub had a hole on the side that they covered up with tape and paint. They denied it until their maid texted them about it. They fixed it, but now the tub is cracked at the bottom. They sent someone to patch it up, but it looks like a patch job. Armstrong won't return my calls and won't replace it. The house is only 5 months old and has so many problems. They say if it wasn't seen at the walk-through, it's not their problem. I have a warranty, but they won't address it. The front door's paint is coming off, the porch columns are shifting, and there are cracks in the foundation. Please help.
