I rented a house from NW real estate on 4/17. When I moved in, I gave them $2200 and filled out a form listing things that needed to be fixed. I left the house on 6/18. When I left, they said the house needed to be cleaned (not by a professional) and the carpet needed to be cleaned by a professional. I did both of those things and they said they would give me my money back in 30 days. Today, I got a check for $632.21. They took out money for repairs that were already broken when I moved in. They also charged me for cleaning the house even though it was already clean. They also charged me for paint that didn't match, but their own repair men did that when they fixed 5 leaks over 2 years.

We stopped working with Northwest Real Estate (NWRE) last year on October 22. However, they still sent us an email (see uploaded photo) asking us to send them a check for a tenant's fake rent payment from July 2022. They said it was an Appfolio problem, but they want us to press charges on the tenant and also sent info to a collections agency. When we ended the contract, they gave us back around $2500 and said that all accounts are settled and closed our Appfolio account. We want them to stop contacting us to ask for payment or to give advice on taking legal action on the previous tenant or to find a solution with Appfolio. Moreover, we should not be reported to collections because we have no relationship or contract with Appfolio, and this should have been brought to our attention last year before the contract ended. NWRE did not do their due diligence with Appfolio, so this issue/payment is not our problem. We did our best to settle all accounts before the contract ended. NWRE themselves said that everything is cleared, and there are no payments due or overdue. It is unacceptable to pass on this cost to us when it is clearly the company's processes and third-party contracts that caused the issue.

We rented from Northwest Real Estate for 2 1/2 years and left on 06/30. They sent us a bill for $3,266.91 after we left, which included $750.00 for grass that was never replaced, $2200.00 for wood fill and paint touch ***, and other things that were not our responsibility. We told them about these things when we moved in and they said not to worry about them. We disputed the bill because they said they would send it to a collection company. We are still waiting for a response from Mr., the broker. Mandi said there is no time limit for getting our deposit back. She said they are behind because of unforeseen circumstances. We are still waiting for our deposit refund from 06/30. We asked the ComplaintsBoard.com for help before we get a lawyer. We have pictures of the side yard from July after the new tenant moved in. We asked the tenant for permission to take the pictures. Thank you, ***.
