A debt went to collections. ARM mailed letters to collect. My wife called and paid in full on my behalf on 9/20/22. In the last 2 weeks, I received many text messages from ARM to collect the debt that was paid in full. When I spoke to them the first time, they said they have no record of the payment but would look into it and get back to me. They asked for the last 4 of the card that made the payment but didn't want a copy of the bank statement that I offered, which showed a posted payment to ARM on 9/20/22. They never called me back, but they keep sending me text messages to collect the same debt.

I got an appliance replaced by First American Home warranty company, and it took them so many weeks to finish the whole thing. I didn't pay their $75 deductible right away because I wanted to wait until the item was bought and installed. Then, out of the blue, I received a collection notice from A.R.M. I paid the deductible in full right away and sent back the collection letter to A.R.M., explaining politely that I had already paid. But guess what? A.R.M. keeps sending me payment demands. Can you believe it? They even have two phone numbers on their collection notices, and guess what? Both of them don't work! I really think this company is a total scam, and I'm worried that their shady business might mess up my almost-perfect credit score. They are just the worst!
