What a rip off... We got sucked in by their offer.

The promise for attending was "two complimentary round trip airline vouchers" and "two nights lodging at one of over 1,000 Marriott, Hilton, or Hyatt hotels and resorts." Absolute pure scam!

Well, they talked us into buying a membership I should have known better when they started asking me to buy at $8, 000 and came down to $2900. The discounts they showed in presentation were made up. We were planning to go to Italy anyway wo we thought we could save a fair amount of money thru Apollo. What a Joke..

Customer Service was absolutely impossible to work with. Different person each time and nothing compared to the pricing they showed us during the presentation. We actually tried to use Apollo for a hotel reservation, but had to cancel... AND was charged one night for cancelling.

I explained to Bob, the manager about all the problems and poor service. He did not care to help us. I then tried to cancel our membership and get any money back that we could. No luck, he said we were past the 72 hours cutoff.

We went back to another presentation to talk to the Sales Rep. After listening to all the problems we had, he felt bad, and offered us the hotel and airline vouchers as compensation

We find out that you must use the hotel and air together - so there is NO voucher. Second, you must pay $199 per person to find out if there is even anything available. You receive a "$100 dinning voucher good at over 45,000 restaurants." But you find out that it is $25 a month for 4 months - what they don't tell you is that you have to pay $9.95 to activate the coupons - because they are NOT a voucher. It is coupons valid at about 10 restaurants in my area and it is a spend $50, get $15 off type of thing.

We got ripped off!

Apollo Adventures is pure scam - they are part of a network of companies meant to suck you in and take your money - do NOT participate!

Received the same type come on by Apollo Destinations...same company. Travel club. Price started at $14K to join and by the time we finally were getting away they were begging us for $4K. When we asked to see the paperwork, the salesman went in the back and came back with photo copied documents. Did a quick internet search www.apollodestinations.net while in the presentation and the site give no "about us" or any means to contact them. No address, phone number etc...We have attended dozens of the typical time share presentations and they always provide drinks and snacks and the better ones provide a lunch of some type. Not Apollo. Glass of tap water in a paper cup. Cheesy and crooked. The "free" 2 nights free hotel stay and $200 spending money was also a scam. AVOID these traveling scam artists. Salesman let slip that they travel from state to state and rent 2nd tier motel small conference rooms. AVOID at all costs.
