On 08/09, I paid for my dress in full after several design meetings. My dress should have been one of the easiest dresses to make because it was just a copy of a 2012 *** dress that is no longer made, so I had plenty of pictures of the actual dress. In December , I received the dress was so excited to open up the box. Like others, I did not get what was advertised in the ads (i.e., a pretty box with a bow on *** also read that they sew your name & wedding date into the dress). Instead, I got a cardboard box with a garment bag. To make matters worse, and also like other reviews, when I tried on the dress, not only was it tremendously unflattering, but it was also not made according to Anomalie's OWN designs as shown in the pictures. On 12/11, I reached out about the design deviations to find out what they were going to do (replace *** fix *** partial refund?), but no one responded for days. I bought an Anomalie wedding dress in April . They were supposed to make a custom fit gown based on my measurements, but it took longer than expected to arrive. I think they were going through some changes, but they didn't tell me or other brides about it. Anyway, I still got my dress before my wedding, even though it was a month late. It came in a garment bag, not a fancy box like they show on social media. When I tried on the dress, I was disappointed. It was way too big and too long. There were some other issues too, but I don't want to go into all the details. I had to get it altered to make it fit properly. Overall, I wasn't happy with the experience.

They said the company would change owners and I had to decide quickly, and my designer would leave - total lie, 'cause she's still on their updated website. I got the dress super fast! No photo updates during production, and they didn't send the fitting shells like they say on their site to make sure it fits right! My dress looks awful, so cheap and poorly made, and doesn't fit right. For the past 2 months, I've been trying to get a real response from the company, but they keep trying to dodge my complaints 'cause they can't defend the huge design changes in the dress...

But in May, they stopped all communication because they were being bought out by another company. They said my order would be fine since I paid in full. But getting in touch with them has been a big headache. I got my dress in November, but the veil they sent was wrong. I managed to text them and they agreed to send me a new one. This happened on December 9th. I've emailed, messaged on social media, and texted them many times for an update on my order, but no one has replied. My wedding is on March 19th, 2022. However, getting in touch with them has been a big headache. I got my dress in November, but the veil they sent was wrong. I managed to contact them through text, the only way they responded, and they promised to send a new veil. This happened on December 9th. I've tried reaching out by email, social media, and text multiple times for an update, but no one has replied. My wedding is on March 19th, 2022. Other brides/customers have also complained about the lack of communication on their Instagram and *** pages. I've already paid for my veil, so they should give it to me. This is totally unacceptable and needs to be resolved right away.

After months of communication, trying to figure out my design, I paid my dress in full in order to go for production. They told me that the company would change ownership and I had to make a decision asap and that my designer would leave the company-which was a big lie just to put pressure on me because their updated website has her designer profile still listed- I got the dress in record time! I didnt get any photo updates during the production, they never sent me the fitting shells as they state on their website which they use to make sure that the dress actually fits the brides body! My dress looks horrible so cheap and badly made and doesnt fit properly. The last 2 months Ive been trying to get a legit response from the company which was constantly trying to purposely redirect the conversation and my complaints because theres no defending the massive design changes by their dressmaker. They told me that my designer should have informed me that the actual dress would be a bit different in reality (scale etc )but my designer never did, I have all the email communications and we are not even talking about small changes, my dress is a mess, the lace already is falling apart. Later they suggested to sell the dress on the Internet. They refused to take responsibility and now they just ignore my texts and emails. I came to find out that are many more Brides desperately trying to contact them bc their dresses are horrible and not what we agreed upon or paid for. You can read their Yelp reviews from this past year and comments on their Instagram page! Even the way they delivered my dress was horrible it came in *** mailing box in a bag, not in a bridal box as they show on their website! I dont know what else to do with these scammers. Im so frustrated. I need the money to fix my dress or buy a new one!

I tried e-mailing 3-4 times, calling, texting, messaging on Instagram, no one responded. After reaching out everyday, sometimes multiple times per day, they finally sent an e-mail acknowledging the dress deviated from the design and saying they would ask the dressmaker why the dress deviated but still did not tell me what they would do about it. Then, they ghosted me again, so on 12/21, I had to send a formal legal demand letter. Only then did I get a response from them saying that they would send me extra lace so I could have someone else redo the lace on my dress. They also stated that they "may" make an exception and pay for what it cost to fix it. I responded that they would, not may, pay for it as that was what is required under the Commercial Code when goods don't conform! On 01/03/2022, they e-mailed me to tell me that they ordered the replacement dress and would ship "soon." It is now 01/29/2022, and I have e-mailed them 4x to ask for an update on whether the lace has shipped with no response. I seek a response!
