I have used Anderson plumbing and heating exclusively for the last 6 years. Large job or small,I have always been extremely satisfied! This is due to the Greatest plumbing specialist I have EVER known, A young man named *** SANTILLON! He NEVER inflates the cost of a job,His work is always quick and efficient! For someone 68 years old who has dealt with dozens of plumbers, most of whom either try to Pad the *** or are incompetent, I have finally found the company with the GREATEST, MOST HONEST PLUMBER YOU WILL EVER HAVE THE PLEASURE TO MEET! The great thing about Andersons is you can request Any specialist to do your job! I highly Recommend you choose *** with 10 stars!

Came home to see Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air van next door performing maintenance on our neighbors unit. I approached the technician, Nate W, and asked him what they were doing and he explained they were performing some maintenance so I told him our 11 year old unit was running but not blowing any air, at allhe was very courteous and professional. After they were finished at our neighbors house, Ben and Nate came over to check out our unit. They replaced the capacitor, performed some other diagnostics and had our unit running strong and blowing cold air again. We are so impressed with Andersons technicians, there professionalism, knowledge and speed of repairs! We even signed up for their very affordable VIP maintenance plan! 5 stars all the way!

I hired Anderson Plumbing, Heating and Air to replace a wall heater in my home. I was charged $4281.58 for this job. The job took two men approximately 2 1/2 hours to complete the job. I have checked the retail price of the brand of heater that was installed. The heater price is approximately 1100.00. There was also a permit purchased for $230.50. When I work it all out, I was charged over $1000 per hour in labor costs. This is outrageous. When I called and asked for a reduction in what was charged, I was offered a 10 percent token amount. Great, that drops the labor costs to $900 an hour. When I rejected the offer, I was told I would hear back from someone at Anderson, but it has been over a week and I have heard from no one. I feel the company has cheated me, and they are now hoping that if they ignore me long enough, I will just go away.

I know it's been a little while since I've had my water heater replaced by Anderson's, but I still want to say a good word about how impressed with the quality of work that was provided. When I woke to a second day of water under my hot water heater, I knew it needed to be replaced. I called this contractor and was, first, surprised that someone would arrive to make repairs within an hour. That's when I met ***; a very friendly and clearly knowledgeable master plumber, and also conscientious and hardworking individual. He immediately won my confidence, applying himself through the entire day to complete a perfect job. *** is an amazing asset of Anderson's. I was thoroughly impressed with the outcome. While I give the company 5-stars; he gets at least 6-stars. I will use Anderson's again and insist that *** does the work in my home. Thank you.*** C, Clairemont.

We had an exceptional experience starting with my wife making the appointment and commenting on how well prepared the person on the other end was. Since my wife spends a good deal of time in her professional capacity on the phone, this was notable feedback. The communication via text and calls was timely and effective. We knew when to expect our plumber, Kristina, and aside from promptly clearing the obstruction in our line, she was professional, personable, and invited us to ask questions. No hard sell for other services but good info on potential problems and solution options to consider, especially with an older home. This is our first time using the services of this business and their first impression is a positive one. We won't hesitate to call on them again and it was easy to recognize the effort that has gone into a well integrated model of doing business that has kept up with the times and the tech but not at the expense of valuing personal interactions. Kristina was masked and mindful of distance and that was also appreciated given the current circumstances.

This past Friday our 16 year old water heater began leaking out onto the garage floor. Upon closer inspection, I discovered a slow, steady and consistent drip coming from the lower seam just over one of the legs. I shut down the water heater, and began calling several local plumbing services to get repair estimates. During their service calls at our home, all said we needed more than just a water heater to meet today's codes. Long story short, we picked Anderson Plumbing solely based on Joshua M technical knowledge and familiarity with local codes, his friendly and affable personality, his stated commitment to excellence, and the fact that Anderson Plumbing had access to the updated model of our Rheem Ruud water heater. In the end, we were more than amazed with the results and to say Joshua is a consummate professinal falls way short of capturing the man and his work. He's more than meticulous, more than a master plumber! He demanded every piece he used, from valves to the many code required additions, have a perfect fit and finish! He earned our highest recommendation, bar none!

They installed a heater with a 10 year warranty, parts and labor, through Costo. When the unit stopped working 7 years later, they told us over the phone that there would be no fee for a technician to come out because it was under warranty. When the technician arrived, he gave a diagnosis of a faulty circuit board and insisted on charging us $76 for the visit because the warranty was voided due to a lack of an annual maintenance plan, and that the board would cost $900 to replace the board. Lennox says the $275 part would have still been under warranty and that Anderson should not be passing that cost on to us and we learned that the circuit board replacement would have taken *** minutes. $900 was not a reasonable price for numerous reasons. There was no indication on the contract for a requirement of an annual maintenance plan. We had a 3rd party come out and inspect the unit who found the circuit board was fully functional and that the unit was installed with insufficient air intake and to contact Anderson for follow-up. After several weeks, Anderson has not returned our emails or calls.

In mid-October Anderson came out to unclog a problem with the main toilet. Agent gave us a very expensive estimate and said, "Anderson's will be higher priced than most, but we know what we are doing!" He fixed the clog and we paid almost $1,000 for the service. He also had second Agent check roof air vent with a camera. While second agent said it looked very dirty, he felt we should be okay for a while with the service they did. Eleven days later, clogged once again. Called Anderson's and they told us they can come out and charge us again the $1,000 ... they would not come out for free They said the work they did was NOT guaranteed or under any warranty. We called Rooter Router and they came out immediately for FREE and unclogged the toilet; checked the vent with a camera; found the vent to be typically dirty; and, we have had no problem with the toilet since. We have waited to write this review to make sure the toilet worked perfectly after Rooter Router came out. It is now 3 months later and the toilet is great! We will never use Anderson again and would not recommend them to our worst enemy!

Anderson as a whole was very easy to work with. On a Saturday, the call for service was received without delay and our service appointment was scheduled for the following day even though it was a Sunday. The communications system were very thorough and updates consistent and helpful.The technician arrived on time was professional, experienced and knowledgeable. The technician, *** was an excellent diagnostician and did not simply seek to replace parts or sell product, he sought to find the problem with the unit to make the most accurate recommendation. *** was able to diagnose a deficiency in the installation of the wiring to the circuit breaker powering the *** unit and correct it. The unit is now running, though *** was clear our system is old and we need to be prepared to replace the 18 year old system soon. He provided quotes and information on the costs in a comprehensive way. This will allow us to prepare for a major repair expense in a timely manner. This kind of service certainly builds loyalty to Anderson as a company when we discern it is time to replace the system.

This is a tough one for me. I really had no other option at the time to have Anderson perform the work. The work was simply to install supplied faucet fixtures in 2 bathrooms, check the kitchen faucet for leaks, install 2 supplied toilet fill valves, supply needed hot/cold valves and lines, and install a supplied toilet flush handle. The technician (who is also the salesman) seemed to be knowledgeable and was professional. He performed all assigned tasks expeditiously. He did leave me with a leaking toilet at the flapper valve. Shouldn't he have made a complete check of everything before leaving? Even though I thought the pricing was high the work need to be completed. Then the big surprise came. The kitchen sink faucet was plugged and needed to be replaced. That would be another $2,000. Now looking at double the price of the other work, again I didn't have any options available to me. Some of the outrages charges were $169 to replace a flush handle, a 2 minute job. $1,000 to supply and install commercially available kitchen faucet valued at about $200. $323 to install a toilet flush valve (maybe 10 minute job). The charge to examine the kitchen faucet was $323 even though it was replaced. I believe he stated there would not be a charge for the kitchen hot/cold valves, the charge was $416. Etc. Etc. My mistake was just not getting a handyman to perform all replacements. $4,162 for a couple of labor is ridiculous.

I highly recommend Anderson Plumbing.They came, they worked on the plugged drain sink and they conquered.They are highly professional; experience, knowledge, quality, presence, courtesy and education. It is a day and night difference compared to the list of so called "professional" plumbing companies.We called Rooter Hero( please do not call them, they are very unprofessional ):From the $77 coupon quickly went up to $187. The technician could not open the drain and told us that the next step is to use the Hydro system pressure, which cost $500.00. After making a mess and leaving staples and finger prints all over our home, he could not open the plugged drain. The next step is to bring "chains" -he said, but you have to put a coat on the pipes after the work is done because of the damage and the cost goes higher. NO! we said. Enough sale gimmicks.Another company came, but they did not want to do the job for fear of a greater problem with our next door neighbor, since we live in a condo- second floor.Then some plumbing companies not even consider to come to our home because we live in a condo.And one more told us $50.00 to inspect and $100.00 every hour after..."until is done". Really?We spend almost a week in vain trying different companies with no results, but finally a good neighbor (***) recommended us Anderson Plumbing, That was the difference! : ) Thank you to the owners of Anderson Plumbing for keeping a high standard of professionalism.Our Lord bless your company, your family and all of your employees. Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning did a great job fixing the leaks and installing the new regulator. The plumber was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. The price was reasonable and the work was done quickly. I would definitely recommend Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone in need of plumbing or HVAC services. They are the best in San Diego!

I had a bad experience with Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning. They charged me $678.30 to find a leak in my slab, but the real problem was just a leaky toilet flapper. When I told them about this, they said they wanted to fix it, but they didn't give me a phone number to contact them. They recorded my call where they said the charge would only be $49. The invoice number is ***. I'm a senior with pancreatic cancer, and I asked for a refund of the extra money they charged me.

I hired Anderson to redo my bathroom. They said it would take 10-14 days, but it's been almost 5 months now. The shower they put in is still leaking. Anderson came out 4 times to fix it, but it turns out they didn't put grout or anything to support the shower pan. So the shower leaks at the drain. Now they have to take the whole shower apart to fix it. They're ruining the integrity of a new shower that we paid for. We're not happy with the work they did and it makes us wonder about their warranty. What happens when it runs out? We paid a lot of money for really bad work. We don't trust Anderson plumbing anymore and we want what we paid for!
