DO NOT shop here or any other location. They lie and frankly do not give a damn. We bought over $11K worth of furniture on 11/24. We were planning closing our new house 12/20 so we told them that was tentative delivery date.
They did not mention that they don't sell their own rugs but only ship third party. So we got an email saying part of our furniture shipped. We had to call to see what shipped as our house was not ready and only construction workers would be there. We tried to get them to stop shipment or change to our current living address. The customer service manager at the store told us to "DEAL WITH IT". Exact words. It is out of their hands. Really? You shipped something when you were not supposed to and without asking and told us to deal with it? I called UPS but they said only the sender can change address. I can't call the sender because it is secret since it is American Signature's third party seller.
After all that was settled they finally delivered our furniture later than scheduled BUT neglected to tell us some items were on back order. OK we bought and paid for, not financed, all our furniture over a month before delivery and it is out of stock. So you don't actually keep people's furniture when they pay for it? And it's not a week or two out of stock, try 4 months! On top of that, NO ONE called to tell us, we only found out from the delivery guys.
On delivery, 3 items were damaged. Yes their brand new furniture arrives damaged ALL the time. Not one, not two, but 3 separate pieces. And guess what, all 3 pieces were out of stock so we have to wait another 2 1/2 months.
So our furniture arrives in waves, again NO ONE told us. You pay for all at once, you expect to get all at once. Nope, we are on our 7th scheduled delivery because they constantly call the night before and say that our supposedly delivery will be delayed because it is out of stock. Again, not once, not twice, not three times, but 7 times!
And 3 more items came in damaged. One nightstand is on it's third replacement! So we have to keep taking time off work, sit and wait for their 2-4hr time frame only to have damaged furniture or cancelled or no shows! They don't care about your time, only their pocket books!
So we are living in our house, out of boxes because we only got 70% of our furniture so far. Yes I have contact corporate, they don't care and will ignore you. I wrote about my experience on their Facebook page, they removed it and blocked me.
Think again if you want to shop with this company. Read the reviews, read the BBB rating and reviews. DO NOT shop with this business or it's parent company Value City!
