Got a series of unsolicited messages from a friend through Facebook saying free grant money was available for me if I text the agent for American Hope Resources. Shortly afterward messages were removed. Friend never confirmed sending me any messages

Same as the others. Impersonating a family member in an attempt to extort money posing as AHR. Report filed with Instagram and I notified my family member to update their Facebook password to be safe. DO NOT communicate with these people. It is 100 % a scam.

An elderly (90+yo) friend's Facebook account was hacked by them and they tried to get me to give them all of my personal information on their website. The kicker was that they wanted me to call a lawyer IMMEDIATELY that they had the contact info for. They claimed to have been granted $100,000 due to Covid-19 through the AHR while posing as my friend.

These *** impersonated an acquaintance of mine by creating a clone Instagram account and asking to follow me. Then engaged in conversation as though they were her, asking if I knew about AHR & how great it was. Took me a few back & for the to figure out for sure that this was not my friend I was chatting with. Identity stealers & ***. ?

I signed up for AHR when I was at a very financially vulnerable state in my life. I never bought anything from them as I realized it was a scam very quickly, but they keep texting me and emailing me even after I've told them to stop. This is the only sketchy website I've given my email address to, and since then, I've gotten dozens of *** emails from various companies. I'm certain they sold my information. This company is dangerous and preys on people who are vulnerable.

I know there scammers, they stole 300.00 dollars from me, I reported them and here is all there scammer resources they used she plays the nice person roll, #2 fake attorney: he's the set-up person, he tells you that a delivery of cash is coming then your texted that the truck was stopped by the IRS and you have to pay the taxes to get the money delivered, #3 DELIVERY People: FAKE (that is a Mississippi phone number but who knows where there really at? all scammers and should be shut down by ComplaintsBoard.com there is no such a group, please check them out and shut them down!

Scam. They contacted my 86 y.o. mother via facebook messenger by impersonating the wife of one of her nephews. As my cousin, they claimed that they had received $100,000 cash and that she must immediately contact them for money, that they operated with the Dept. of Human Services and there was all this money available. It's a lie and a scam and hideously criminal. I work for the Dept. of Human Services and this is a *** and they are impersonating people to prey upon elderly and disabled. I only gave them a star because I had to. These people are criminals.

A Spectrum Cable representative instructed me to sign up with AHR and that I qualified for benefits. I have no idea why I followed this instruction, but I thought it was related to my being a healthcare provider and that I would qualify for potential reduced cable/internet fees. I was misled completely and now am receiving bogus/spam texts (multiple daily) telling me to click on links to receive monetary rewards. I am trying to report these to my phone carrier, but I do not know how to stop this. This is a terrible scam preying on innocent people at a particularly hard time.

Someone who posed as a friend messaged me on FB/IG & started a friendly conversation. I noticed their grammar was off & blocked & reported them after they tried to get specific about this program: "It's a specifically program for those who need assistance paying for bills, buying a house, starting their own business, support the retired, widow, unemployed, full/part time workers, disable and student ""I was happy I got some cash from them when I apply have you heard of M *** BEFORE?" & "He was the one that help me get my AHR money i will give you him representative link and private text number so that you can apply from him as well." SCAM ALERT!

I became friends with a lady on Facebook! She started messaging me and then she ask if I'd heard of R *** From American Hope Resource Grant Program. No never heard of him! In a earlier conversation sometime before this, we had not talked at least a week. Told her we'd closed our nonprofit outreach for homeless and moved it to our regular church. Told her we were thinking about applying for grant or loan to build on to church for the outreach. This is when she told me about getting $50,000 and R *** help her get it and would help me get the funds I needed to build. Gave me a phone number. Before i could call he text me and boy did he make it sound good. Filled out application plus copy front and back of my drivers license. After he got that the next day he said he needed $500 dollars filing fee and my bank account number. That's when I knew it was a scam. Told the lady (C*** who I'm sure was using the real Carol Lambs name it was a scam. She got really upset with me and this R *** from American Hope resource was very nasty keep saying he need my Bank Account. SO I BLOCKED THEM BOTH! *** K (1 star)

Someone who posed as my friend from Church sent me a message some time last week telling me about the American Hope Resources. I didn't look at the message since I was busy. Today, the person that posed as my friend from Church sent me another message. The conversation went as follows: "PW - Hello ? How are you doing today?. You sent - Okay. PW - Things are going good thank God. Our family is doing great. We have stayed away from Covid thank God. You look very good, did you get that Message I sent to you about the (AHR) program ? You sent - Thank God. I played it safe because I thought you were hacked. PW- No You sent - What is the AHR program? PW - Actually it's a new program called (American Hope Resources)the program meant for those people who need assistance paying for bills, medical bills buying of new home, home repair, stating and financial of business, going to school paying of debt or student loans, credit card, provide funds for disable and elderly people. I short, the AHR money can be used for anything a lot of people have benefited from it. You sent - I will look into it. Thank you. PW - I also got the info from a friend of mine and I applied it's a blessed, I got sun $100,000,00 delivery to my destination through FedEx delivery and it's not a loan money you don't need to pay it back. You sent - SCAMMER PW - Oh know This is real and legitimate You sent - You are a scammer acting to be my friend. I did research. I told my friend that owns this account that she was hacked. PW - Oh really You sent - Yes. I also reported it to the ComplaintsBoard.com." These scammers need to get a life and to get a REAL job! Is there a way to stop them?!?

Someone reached out to me saying that the American hope resources was randomly helping those in need, so me being a single mom I was happy. Bur now they've made me pay $100 and keep asking for more before they send me money. I don't have extra money. I need to feed my kids.

The "accountant" was extremely rude and said that if I didn't pay that I'd be starving my kids.

I keep getting emails from this company and it's really annoying. I've tried emailing them to make them stop, but they never respond.

I paid $100 with an Apple iTunes card to American Hope Resources. They told me I had to pay $1200 to the IRS for government money through them.

This American Hope Resources thing is a total scam, man. They're saying they can help with COVID-19 stuff, but it's all a bunch of lies. They're using some free texting app number that's supposed to be from Alabama, but who knows where it's really coming from. And the dude behind it all is named A ***. Don't fall for their tricks, folks. Stay safe out there.

Got scammed for 500.00 bucks. They said to get a Nike card for 500.00, take a pic of it, and send it to them. They promised to give me 20.000 and deliver it to my crib at 8:30am. But now they want another 1200.00 before they do the delivery. They didn't say anything about this until I sent the first 500.00.

I gave them 100 bucks to get some help, but then they said they needed 175 more and then 300 more. I paid all that dough, but still didn't get my cash like they said I would. They won't give me my money back or give me the help I need. This all went down during a state of emergency for both my state and theirs.

This company keeps sending me ads from different companies. I get like 20 to 30 ads on my phone every day from them. I've tried to unsubscribe from their website a few times, but it doesn't work. I just want them to stop sending me these messages. All the ads say something like "chrome.americanhopereascource" and then some random letters and numbers followed by an email address. It's really annoying and I wish they would just leave me alone.

american hope resources keep messaging me like crazy, like hundreds of messages every day. i never signed up for their stuff and i don't want it. they don't even give a phone number to call. i found an address in dover, de and sent them a letter last week telling them to stop. but they haven't gotten back to me yet.

me spread the word about these scammers. Don't fall for their tricks and don't give them any money. Stay safe and be careful who you trust.

This company has my email twice and I don't know how they got it. I tried emailing them but it didn't work. They need to take my info off their site.

This American Hope Resources company keeps sending me aid program offers that I don't want. I've been trying to unsubscribe or get deleted from their files, but they won't reply. They even have contracts ready for me that I didn't ask for. They blocked my phone so I can't reply stop to their offers. These crooks need to stop harassing people. Please help. Thanks.

I got scammed by American Hope Resources (AHR) for $2500. This guy named F offered me a work from home job and sent me money to distribute to beneficiaries. But it turned out to be a fake deposit and I ended up sending my own money out. I'm so mad and just want my money back. I reported it to the FTC and had to close my bank account and open a new one. I read that my bank should refund me because they allowed the scam money to go through, but they won't. It's so unfair.

I went on americanhoperesources.com when I was homeless because they offer help and grants to people who are struggling. But now I keep getting spam texts from them every day. It's hard to read my important texts when everything I get is spam from this company. I have to block every single number that I get spammed from. They keep sending me messages like "ahr has paid you" and it gives me a link. I also get a lot of messages saying Wal-Mart owes me money and they send links. I don't click any of the links, but I just want these spam texts to stop. It was my friend who went to the site and gave them the info, but I warned him that they would send him a lot of spam.

So, I was scrolling through Facebook and this lady Rachel told me about American Hope Resources. She said she got a hundred grand from them and didn't have to pay it back. I called Linda Anderson at and got approved for their program even though I didn't ask for a grant. They said I could get $50,000 'cause I don't make much money, but they wanted me to send them $200. I was suspicious, so I said never mind. Then they said I had to pay $100 with an Amazon gift card or $1500 in cash to cancel. I got the gift card, but now they want another $500. I said no, but they keep bugging me for it. They won't give me a supervisor's number or address and keep asking for my bank info. I told them I'd report them to the ComplaintsBoard.com, but they haven't answered my emails since.
