Dear Mr. President:
I am writing to respectfully bring to your attention serious concerns regarding the Amazon Flex program and its impact on American workers.
The Amazon Flex program functions in a manner like rideshare services such as Uber, except that independent contractors deliver Amazon packages.
I would like to bring to your attention that the Amazon DFH3 facility located at 3700 Sarno Road, Melbourne, FL 32934 appears to be paying undocumented illegal immigrants through this program.
In some instances, payments are reportedly being made even when little or no work is performed.
(Definition) BOTS : An against the rules automated app that is faster than humans when accepting a work offer. “Illegal Aliens get to use these”
I started with the Amazon Flex program in March of 2025.
This was a time when the Amazon Flex program began a campaign against "Bot Users". This campaign made it reasonable to work for Amazon as a contractor. It lasted for about a month during which I made the best money of my life more than $1,000 for a 5-day work week. Two 3.5 hour shifts a day for 4 weeks.
After their campaign ended and they began catering to the illegals again by allowing them to continue using "BOTS".
Working the Amazon Flex program became a nightmare. Work that had been abundant and paying well is now scarce and paying half for the same amount of work.
I was working 2-3.5 hour shifts a day making good money. Now to make the same amount I would have to work 6-3.5 hour shifts a day while somehow beating the BOTS to the work offers.
Only people that were given multiple drivers licenses / Identities from the 19 states that hand them out to illegal aliens can safely use BOTS as getting caught using a BOT can cause your account to be terminated.
This is a High Value Job.
People with only 1 identity such as United States Citizens are unlikely to be using a BOT.
Despite repeatedly notifying Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) as well as the Governor of Florida, no corrective action has been taken.
This issue appears to extend beyond Brevard County, Fl. and is a nationwide problem. Dishonest illegals only have to show up and Amazon will give them money to stay in the United States.
They don't even have to work for this money.
These illegal immigrants are given preferential treatment when participating in the Amazon Flex program, this is preventing good honest hardworking American citizens from receiving fair opportunities and reasonable compensation for the now limited work that does become available to them.
Further, there has recently been an announcement of a $59 million Amazon facility planned for Melbourne, FL.
It is unclear whether this project is connected with the Sarno Road facility and based on the unfair treatment of United States Citizens there, I believe it would be in the best interest of the American people if this business deal were thoroughly investigated to ensure compliance with any and all laws.
“I believe that if you informed the American people—especially those who voted for you and support the goal of Making America Great Again—that well-paying jobs intended for U.S. citizens are instead being given to undocumented workers, many would see it as reasonable to stop supporting Amazon and instead choose a more patriotic company, such as Walmart or Target, for their online orders.”
For comparison, Walmart operates a similar delivery model through its Walmart+ subscription service and would be a better choice for the United States.
I respectfully urge your administration to:
(1) Encourage accountability from Amazon.
Ask Americans to withhold their business from Amazon until the company demonstrates greater commitment to U.S. workers and values.
(2) Address driver support outsourcing.
Many Amazon Flex drivers report that their Amazon Flex support services are outsourced overseas. Requiring domestic support services until the U.S. achieves a 0% unemployment rate would provide more American jobs.
(3) Strengthen penalties for illegal hiring / Contracting.
Implement meaningful financial consequences for companies that employ or contract undocumented workers—for example, penalties equal to one month’s profit per undocumented worker, per offense that double with every repeated offense. Such measures I believe would serve as a strong deterrent. Mr. President, these actions would help protect American workers, strengthen our economy, and ensure that major corporations operate in a manner that puts the American people first. Thank you for your time, attention, and dedication to the American workforce.
Sincerely , John Smith
P.S.
Google says 2.9 million drivers in the United States have downloaded the Amazon Flex app.
I believe that if you were to have I.C.E. or the National Guard checking cars coming and going from Amazon warehouses for people that can’t speak English it would likely free up more than a million good paying jobs that could help drive the unemployment rate to 0.
