I booked a cabin and stayed from 12/19 to 12/24. But I had to leave on 12/21 because I found some mold in the cabin.

We rented a cabin and they have in writing that we didn't want to see construction. Well, there was construction going on right in front of our porch. We stayed at the Peek-a-View cabin from 12/18 to 12/22. We specifically said that we didn't want to see construction, but the cabin chosen for us had a cabin being built in front of it. I voiced my displeasure and was told it wasn't their fault. They offered a $600 discount, which I consider an insult. I rent cabins in the mountains to enjoy nature, and that can't be done with construction.

I worked with a representative to schedule a stay for my mom and her sisters. The rep was nice and helped me set up because she knew it was a surprise and I wouldn't be attending. When my mom and sister arrived, the cabin was dirty, had bed bugs, and my aunt got bitten. The sink was leaking in one of the bathrooms, the television wasn't working properly, and there was blood on the sheets in one of the rooms. It was terrible, so I called and they tried to act like it was my fault. The company came out to treat the bugs, but my mom and her sisters had to be out for a whole day without their belongings. I asked for them to be moved to another cabin as they felt they could handle the situation. However, housekeeping never came to do a thorough clean, they just changed the sheets. The pool table was also ripped and unusable. It was a terrible situation and it ruined my mom's entire trip.

I booked a cabin for May 27-May 31, reservation XXXXXX. Paid $3492.84, including deposit protection. Sadly, we had to reserve a new cabin with the same company because we needed more bedrooms. They said we could change cabins but for a different day. So, we made another booking for Oct 8-Oct 12, paying a deposit protection of $273.32. However, due to my knee surgery, I won't be able to make it on Oct 8. I asked for a refund since I have deposit protection. The company said I can't postpone or change anymore. They told me to dispute it with my credit card company. Now, the credit card company says I should get a credit from the merchant, but the merchant doesn't want to do it. I want a full refund of $4477.32, excluding deposit protection, or I want to stay for 4 days when I can. It's unfair to take customers' money without providing any service if they don't meet either of these conditions. I hope we can resolve this soon.

Honestly, all I gotta say is, look at the reviews on google. Everything from bed bugs, to bat bugs, moldy showers, no electricity, no maintenance crews, rude staff, collapsing beds, no hot water, alarms going off for no reason, charged extra fees for things with no proof, they don't follow their deposit insurance program - many many people have been scammed by this business! It's unsafe - broken decks, it's a health hazard due to mold and bugs, they steal your money, etc. This place needs to be shut down! Or have more inspections. Their inspections for all their properties must be lacking or non-existent. This place is dangerous, and a scam. They stole our money - my mother died and they refused to give our money back. It happened to many others. Just read the reviews on google. Please don't take this complaint lightly and get this place shut down, under new ownership or have more inspections! They took all over our money and we purchased the cancellation policy. They offered a voucher instead of a refund. It's a scam! Thank you.

Trying to fix complaint with Amazing Views Cabin rentals for cabin "Splash Manor". Date of cabin rental is Saturday June 27th and check out Tuesday June 30th, cabin rented is "Splash Manor". Confirmation #XXXXXX Total price of rental was $3,749.51. When I rented the cabin, I had many issues with it. I called Amazing Views to tell them about the issues, but all they did was send Ambient HVAC to fix the A/C that wasn't cooling. It didn't get fixed until the last day there. Someone came and did a quick cleaning on part of the cabin, but they didn't address the other issues. I called multiple times, even after checkout, but the results were unsatisfactory. I couldn't enjoy my vacation with my girlfriend and kids because I was constantly trying to get someone to the cabin to fix the issues. I had trouble sleeping and the inside temperature was 81 degrees. I will mention the issues with the cabin and ask for half of my costs back (with the two biohazards, I should get a full refund). I have pictures of the things I noted. Overall, I was completely dissatisfied with the cabin and the customer service that ruined my vacation! I tried to resolve the issues with Amazing Views and even went to their office. I gave them the blood-stained cover in a trash bag and asked for management to contact me and meet me at the cabin, but I had no luck reaching anyone. I can provide pictures and have 12 other guests who can confirm the issues.

On December 26th, my family and 2 pets checked into the amazing view cabin bluebirds over the Smokies. The light in the main sitting room wasn't working and hot water on main level wasn't either. After contacting them through call and email, the woman said maintenance would come look at it. I emailed and explained we were leaving and wouldn't like anyone coming while not there since we had dogs there. She responded with that's against policy to come when animals are in there so let them know when we return. A few hours later, I get a call saying when maintenance came, my dog got spooked and ran out a window and he was too big for them to chase or try to get. My 200 lb dog was missing in the mountains for 27 days. Amazing views wouldn't answer my calls or emails and still won't. We hired a team to search for dog after we had to leave. Our entire vacation was ruined from negligence of the maintenance person. We were only there 1 day when this happened and we spent rest of days searching for our dog in the mountains, not sleeping or enjoying the vacation. Between the cost of cabin rental, and search team and medical expenses after we got dog back it was over 12,000. This management company should refund our stay. They are labeled as a pet friendly cabin and then they let the animals out when the man shouldn't even be there! They offered no help in locating our dog or wouldn't have the maintenance guy even let us know any details like what way he went or anything. At the least they should refund our stay, and offer us another stay at no charge. The dog's medical bills and search team would be nice to refund too.

I can't get ahold of anyone in this biz to pay for my mom's medical bill from the cabin. We rented a cabin in August. We arrived on August 19th, the front porch light didn't work at all and the steps ain't made well leading into the Cabin which caused my Mom to fall down the stairs and have to go to the ER and get 6 staples in her head. We got home from the ER at 3 am so I waited till the following morning to call guest services 'bout the light. We rented a 24 sleeper cabin and when we arrived at 3 am, realized we didn't have enough blankets or towels for 24 people. I called 'round 10 am and spoke with guest services, told 'em 'bout my mom and the missing towels and blankets. I called again later that morning when we realized the hot tub didn't work and the TV in the theater room didn't work at all. I called again in the afternoon when we found the refrigerator broken after we went to the store. Still no maintenance person was sent out and all I really cared 'bout was the porch light being fixed so we didn't have anymore ER visits. The lady on the phone, her name was Karen, was extremely rude, didn't care 'bout the well being of a customer who paid $3,000 to stay in their cabin. They ended up sending maintenance out 'round 10 that night. My mom's medical bill from that night is $1,500 and I've called 'em multiple times and sent an email with no response at all. My mom's vacation was completely ruined by this and they should pay at least for her medical bill and refund some of the money for the cabin we stayed in where we couldn't use half the amenities it was supposed to come with.

On a positive note, the view from the cabin was indeed amazing. We were able to see the beautiful Smoky Mountains and enjoy the natural scenery. However, this was the only redeeming quality of our stay.
The customer service from Amazing Views Cabins and Timber Tops Amazing Views was lacking. We were not properly informed about the issues with the hot tub before our arrival, and there was no effort made to fix it during our stay. The lack of communication and follow-up was frustrating.
In conclusion, our experience with Amazing Views of the Smokies Cabin & Chalet Rentals, LLC was highly disappointing. The cabin was not clean, had various maintenance issues, and did not meet our expectations. We would not recommend this rental company to others and will not be returning in the future.
