Amato Homes review: Horrible experience
Do not buy any homes from this builder. I bought the home and I was not aware the house did not pass the city grading and I did not have permanent vacancy. I bought the home in January 2026 and I still have not been able to move in because Mr Amato did not complete the work he was supposed And now I’m responsible for everything. He takes advantage of first time buyers. He does not reply to emails. Now I have to get a lawyer to get some answers
I was sold the home in January 2026. I was not informed by the builder and by my realtor that the house did not have permanent residency because it did not pass the grading by the city and failed. In June as my lease was done with my apartment and I was ready to move in I found out by the city that I was not allowed because the house need to pass the grading. Mr Amato up to now has not completed the list of requirements to give me permanent residency. Iam the one doing it so I can move in. He has not answer emails or take any accountability. He told the city that he won’t do it. 10 months later I’m the one completing the work so I can move in. He is dishonest and my lawyer told me that what he has done is fraud. He should not be allowed to do this kind of business
