This company was taking the money out of my account on a monthly basis I decided to go another route and asked for a refund of the 1600.00 Allmand Law has not done any thing to deserve this money I am on disability and got sucked in i am on a fixed income this company is ripping off consumers

I hope everyone reads this message BEFORE giving money to this bunch. I am a widow struggliñg to pay bills. When I decided not to file bankruptcy after paying them about 1400$. They refuse to answer my messages or refund any money I can't afford to blow off that kind of money. They did nothing for this money. They take advantage of people. Jacqueline gives no good advice. These reviews say other cases have been resolved but I bet they have not. Please don't give them your hard earned money.

Horrible, I paid them in full, then they told me my wife and I make too much money, after I sent them every piece of information to file bankruptcy. They could have told me fun the beginning that we make to much money. They have me 2 different attorneys numbers to file chapter 13 (consolidation) and I asked both of them if I could find value 7. Immediately they both said no. Even though they knew we made more money, Allmand Law Firm continued the entire process. So I am out of any fund because I make to much money when from the very first conversation they knew what I make and did a credit check for my bills.

Allmand Law with their professional, smart, kind, courteous and helpful staff was the best choice you can make to retain. My wife and I are seniors in our mid 70's and entire Allmand law firm walked us thru the bankruptcy process. My wife and I were very pleased with the process. The amount of documents required to be filled out were work for me but any and all questions were addressed and answered within 24 hrs via email to my satisfaction. I highly recommend the Allmand Law firm for anyone facing a financial crisis due to loss of income or job due to COVID-19 or some other medical emergency beyond your control. In today's environment your life can change in the blink of an eye and knowing that Allmand Law can come to your rescue will give you peace of mind. Thank you Erica, Devin and Naomi just to name a view of the super people that i interfaced with to resolve our financial crisis.

So I left a review after talking with an associate last week. The first person I spoke to was incredibly helpful, encouraging and understanding. That was Friday. After starting the paperwork, but not finishing it, come the next work day, which was Tuesday as Monday was a holiday, I have had 2 calls from two different people with the company asking for exactly the same thing. They expressed that I could communicate via email, which I preferred, but instead of responding in anyway to my email they would call or text me. It was never the same person though! So you might feel differently but I personally do not want to talk about my financial situation with every person that works for that firm! Not to mention the fact that they are incredibly expensive! I mean seriously! I cannot even afford to file for bankruptcy! So, just a heads up. Give it a few days before you finalize anything with these people!

If I could give zero stars I would DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM I clearly stated my reasons for hiring them and they tried to tell me that I lied to them. I have no reason to lie. Despite a signed contract, they went against their own contract. I was led to believe that certain things would occur and were occurring for the duration of my bankruptcy. It was ONLY at the end (near my discharge date) that I learned otherwise. I was not informed of a discharge of penalties UNTIL AFTER my discharge date. When I asked if this occurred, I got no answer. After asking for my case file for over a month they lied to me on the how it was sent, sat on it ofr over a month and STILL failed to send my complete file. I had to point it out to them that they failed to send my complete file. You don't get direct answers to your questions. They failed to respond to multiple emails from a creditor. To many items to list here, but I would stay away from this firm. It's interesting to see that they respond to positive responses here but not negative ones. I'm sure that if they respond to this one, it will be a lie.

If I could give negative 100 stars, I would. If you are considering Allmand Law Firm to file bankruptcy - RUN! Our original attorney passed away and unfortunately this is the firm that we fell in with. Our first meeting was in June , now May 27 and still no modification. We were told they would refigure our case and present a modification. Have paid them everything requested. Finally, JM, attorney sent through a modification in March and terms were agreeable. Have received notification of objection to modification from Trustee. Payments have increased from $1475/ month to $1711/month, now $2100/month. Received letter stating to send Trustee $236 immediately because we are in default. How can we be in default when payment is garnished out of my wages? Now, a creditor has come back 3 years after the filing deadline and want to have their claim added. You cannot get any answers to questions when you call the office. I have sent questions through their email process to be told they didn't receive any emails. I have the sent emails. What a NIGHTMARE! Horrible law firm!

Wow. Paid 4500 up front. Was told everything was fine. Very hard to communicate with them through their email. Met with attorney 1 time. That was actually good I was feeling frustrated before I met with attorney then after meeting jim felt better. Went to the 341 meeting they sent an atty that was her last day. I was super sick at the meeting and the trustee needed more information from me and rescheduled my 341 hearing I was told she would send me a list of what was needed and a time of the new hearing. Never got either. I emailed for week before I thought it was was scheduled on the date never knew a time. No one at the office knew anything about what was needed for the trustee or anything about the hearing being rescheduled. I got dressed on the day I thought it was and was just going to show up at the same time as before. Finally got hold of them trying to see what time i needed to be there and was told I was jot in the docket. With my insistence she went to find out and the. I was told oh it was at 8:30 and you missed it. I continued trying to get info they scheduled me with atty in burst office and she told me not to worry that she was emailing the trustee and they would notify me of when the hearing was reset. I had everything I thought the trustee could want with me and she told me to keep it until they contacted me either a list. Never have heard anything. My BK was set to dismiss feb 11. I contacted my car lender and they said they had sent reinstatement forms to them and they needed them back before it dismissed or I would loose my vehicles. Was told by the office that they had sent for a deferment for time to get the reinstatement's. Got a notice of the deferment for March 9. Emailed their email which is the only way to contact them and asked why the credit bureau was reporting that it had been dismissed. Meaning not approved. And creditors now calling again etc. response 1. We do not have any involvement with the credit bureaus reporting. Contact them. Ok. Is the Bk dismissed? Answer today on an email the trustee dismissed the bankruptcy for The show cause order ? What ? What the heck does that mean ? And what about the the extension order ? I did not want to file bankruptcy and now am in worse shape than before and do not know what to do . This has truely been a very horrific experience and I have no idea what to do . Can't get an answer from these people that are the same .

So when she gave me the cost of $2595 I believed I was getting a fair price. I was given this firm's name because they were supposed to be affordable because they provided unbundled services. I was never offered this option. I started wondering about things almost immediately. I did some research & found that she had blatantly lied to me about the average cost of bankruptcy in Texas. I found that the average cost in my county is $1370-$1670 for Chapter 7 under median & $1970 for Chapter 7 over median. I have left a voicemail, sent emails attached to a ticket that was generated by the VM & sent several text messages asking for a full refund less than 24hrs later due to their shady practices & the outright lie regarding average cost. I have had zero response. I want every penny of my down payment back due to having signed their contract under false pretenses! UPDATE: When I call, all I get is voicemail! I have left voicemail, sent emails & texted this firm requesting my money. I have been completely ghosted! No answer to anything. They know the bad financial situation I am in & that they lied to me but they just ignore me & have not returned my money! Stay away from this firm! UPDATE 2: It has been a week since I requested my money back! I requested it less than 24hrs after retaining this firm. I have been given nothing but the run around! I finally got through on their live chat last Friday(today is Wed.) They were able to transfer me to a Legal Asst. who actually answered the phone. I was told someone would call back. I made it clear that I only wanted to speak to someone who had the authority to refund my $900 and that I did not want to speak to Jacqueline. Guess who called. After Jacqueline started to question me I let her know the I did not want to talk to her. I wanted someone who could give me my refund! She said she would transfer me to Belinda in accounting & she would let her know that I found someone for half the price! There she went, not telling the truth about why I wanted a refund! When I talked to Belinda I let her know that what Jacqueline said was not true, gave her an abbreviated history & told her to read my emails or my yelp review for the true story. Belinda couldn't help me right then & she had a meeting the next morning. She said she would call me back Monday July 12. Like a fool, I thought I would get my money back then! She called & told me that she sent an email to the accountants, but they were in a meeting all day. She also said that if the accountants decided not to give me my money back it would go back to the attorney who could override that decision! I have never in my life encountered such as this! The Allmond Law Firm is someone you need to stay away from! And for goodness sake, never give them your money! They know my dire financial situation, yet they still play this terrible game of keeping my money!

I want them to STOP calling me. I DO NOT want their services. Several years ago I sent an email to them but decided I was not interested in their service. They have been hounding me for years now. They leave me messages constantly. If I wanted their help I would call them. I don't want anything from this firm and I want them to stop stalking me as a perspective client. Years have passed since that email and they won't leave me alone. They call from a number I can't block because it doesn't show in my call log. I'm sick of it and I feel this has gone on so long it has become harrassment.

Attorney Erin *** was hired under contract to file paperwork with the court to reduce UCP. This was never submitted properly to the court/trustee After several weeks of no response from the trustee i sent numerous emails and called multiple times and got varies lies and was mislead many times about the status of the paperwork being sent in. I finally reached someone named Manny who was somewhat helpful however was again dishonest. He researched and agreed that the papers were uploaded in the wrong format and offered to refund the money or have them properly processed and submitted. I requested to be refunded and he said he would contact accounts payable and have the process started, several weeks after this i disputed the charge with my bank because nothing was done from the law firm to resolve the issue. I again sent multiple emails and made many phone calls to try and get this corrected, i again was transferred to Manny who said it was being handled and i informed him i was not longer interested in continuing my contract with this law firm and after several more emails and phone calls i was finally able to have the law firm removed from attorney of record. I have sent many emails after this and i have spoken to Beth *** and she has told me she would "follow up" with Manny and get this taken care of. Well, this has been several days and no one has responded to me.For a total of 4 months this company has been holding my money without doing anything to earn it.
