Apparently, the bad reviews were from people who can't read. The results I received backed up my true-life experiences and filled in a couple of gaps. I've had extreme digestive issues for well over 20 years. The usual skin [censored] allergy tests were dead ends and extremely frustrating, as I was still having intolerable symptoms. Only intolerance testing has been successful in pointing out my problem foods. I'm very happy with the results of this test. It was thorough. And, as the related tests have pointed out, I'm also too high in mercury and some other metals. I would never have known that and been able to take care of it without this test leading me into the knowledge. If you know the difference between allergy and intolerance, TAKE THE TEST.

Honestly, I saw a bunch of reviews that some people waited 3/4 weeks and some even months before getting their results back, or some saying they couldn't get their results because their hair sample didn't work, and I was slightly worried about this. But that did not happen to us. I was actually super impressed with how fast we got the results. I sent the hair in on a Tuesday, and by the next Tuesday, I had an email that it was received, and by Wednesday morning, it was in my junk folder which is did states in their email to check there. I did pay the extra 10$ for the fast track option, and for the family of 4 test, it was well worth it. I was very impressed, and any questions I had, someone on the live chat was able to help me! Highly recommend this company! I also had a blood test done elsewhere, and many of the things my blood test showed, showed in the hair test.

I wouldn't recommend ordering from this company, to be honest. It took them more than a month to even let me know that they had received my specimen, and I still haven't received my results. But let me tell you, they sure did send me a bunch of emails congratulating me on receiving my results, even though I hadn't actually gotten them yet. They kept saying things like "this is day 3, 4, 5, etc. of elimination." It's pretty frustrating, you know?

I tried reaching out to them multiple times, both through email and by calling them during their supposed business hours. I even left them detailed messages, but guess what? I haven't heard back from a single person. It's really annoying, especially when they claim to be available 24/7 when you call them.

So, I did some digging and I suggest you do the same. Look up scholarly articles about testing allergies and intolerances using hair samples. You won't find any clinical evidence that supports its accuracy. It's all just a placebo effect, if you ask me. Our immune system and gut microbiome are way too complex for a simple hair sample to accurately test anything of clinical significance. It's just a big scam, really.

Oh, and here's another thing that happened to my friend. She took the test and got her results, right? But then, she was gifted another blood test shortly after, and guess what? The results were completely different from the first one. I mean, come on! How can you trust a company that gives you vastly different results for the same person?

Save your money, people. Don't waste it on this company.

I done went through with my hair sample testing that I bought on Groupon for allergytest.co for $75 for the advanced allergy testing for food and non food items as well as the Nutritional deficiency test. I just got my 'results' back today and there ain't no way this is accurate. I got severe anaphylactic allergies to all tree nuts, all melons, avocado & banana that I carry an Epipen from my medical doctor for. I'm also pretty severely allergic to cats. Guess what - not a single one of those are notated on my 'intolerance' list. I got a feeling these ain't done individually, but just copy and pasted results for everyone that falls for this test.

My results were also all dated 1/11/2017 which can't be correct as today is 1/1/2017. Another thing that I don't trust.

The email they sent to tell me they got my sample also got the words "Thank you for your custom." which makes me think this ain't North American based and might just be a scam all together.

There ain't no governing body over these results so they can do whatever they like.

Bottom line - don't fall for this junk, go to a real allergist doctor.

Today, on January 7th, I received an email saying that I can't get a refund because I'm outside the 90-day window. What a load of nonsense! My request was well within the time period, but their customer service person took a whopping 3.5 weeks to respond to me and now they won't help me. It's beyond frustrating!

So, I thought I'd give them a call to sort this mess out. But guess what? The customer service number, right in the middle of their so-called business hours, said that the phone lines were closed. Can you believe the audacity? Frustrated, I decided to use the chat option on their website. But the guy on the other end was absolutely useless. He just told me to call the customer service line or reply to the email. Um, hello? I just told you that those options were not working! It's like talking to a brick wall.

Ever since I was born, I've had this crazy allergy to Pork. When I was just a little kid, I would always get sick after eating it, and my parents started to notice that something wasn't right. So, when I was about 4 years old, I got super duper sick and had to go to the hospital. They ran all sorts of tests on me, and guess what they found out? I'm extremely allergic to pork and anything related to it. Can you believe it? I mean, it's not even that rare. I've met other folks who are just like me!

Now, here's the thing. I've never had any issues or gotten sick from eating anything else. As far as I know, I'm not allergic to anything except good ol' pork. But, about 15 years ago, I had this crazy idea. I thought, "Hey, maybe my body has changed. Maybe I can eat a little bite of pork chop and see what happens." Well, let me tell you, that was a big mistake. I ended up back in the hospital, feeling like I was gonna explode! It was a nightmare.

So, when I heard about this allergy test from Allergy Test USA, I thought, "Why not give it a shot?" I mean, what harm could it do, right? Well, let me tell you, this test was a total letdown. It didn't even mention my pork allergy, which is like the most important thing for me to know. Instead, it told me to stay away from blueberries, vodka, and coconut oil. Can you believe that? These are three things that I consume on a daily basis! I cook with coconut oil all the time, I love my blueberry protein shakes, and I enjoy a good ol' vodka drink like I'm partying it up in Poland. None of these things have ever affected me, except for the vodka. If I drink a whole fifth in just two hours, I start feeling dizzy. But come on, who wouldn't?

Let me tell you, this test is a freaking scam. I mean, my horoscope could have given me better advice on what to avoid. Don't waste your hard-earned money on this nonsense. And to make matters worse, my son took the test too. We sent our samples in at the same time, hoping to get some answers. You know what this test said? It said he's not allergic to lactose in any form. But let me tell you, my son is extremely lactose intolerant. This test is a load of BS!

So, here's what I propose. Instead of wasting your money on this bogus test, send me your cash instead. I'll roll the dice and give you any information you want. Trust me, I'll do a way better job than this company. Cheers!

I talked to someone who bought some tests from this company about 4 months ago. She thought her results were reliable and made some changes in her diet. She felt that her stomach problems were getting better.
So I decided to chat with them to get more info. I've been dealing with skin and rash issues and thought this might help. From the first question I asked, I got suspicious. If you look at their website, they say they do hair tissue mineral analysis. Nowhere did I see that the testing is actually bio resonance testing. She says "I can confirm we test for intolerances using bio resonance technology, it is a holistic form of therapy, NOT a medical form of testing as stated on our website". So she just told me that the website is lying.
I actually copied our chat so I would have a record. I won't be using this service and I'll post the chat so you can judge for yourself.

Hello I was looking at the info and maybe wanting to have a test. Can you tell me what is tested with the premier? I've already had a lot of testing: blood, skin biopsy, skin patch test. I want to know what tests are done to compare.

At this present moment there is no standard method for testing for intolerance. Our therapy currently has an accuracy rate of 99.5%.

That doesn't answer my question. I talked to someone who had the testing done. When she got her report, there was a list of things she had a severe intolerance to. Can you provide a list of what exactly is tested when I buy the premier test?

I think there's a lot of negative reviews out there about the results from Allergy Test USA. It seems like some people are expecting the testing to be for allergies, but I agree that maybe the company should consider a different name if the test is actually for intolerances. Now, I know that igE testing for allergies is really useful, but it can be super expensive if you have to pay for it yourself, and it won't pick up on intolerances.

You see, just because someone has an intolerance, it doesn't necessarily mean they'll have an obvious physical reaction. But that doesn't mean there isn't inflammation happening in the body. Personally, I decided to get the testing done because I have this weird skin issue called granuloma annulare, and nobody knows what causes it. I have a hunch that inflammation might have something to do with it, and I've also noticed that wheat seems to be making me feel worse. I've been hesitant to completely cut it out of my diet, though. In the past, I've had both igE allergy testing and intolerance testing through LEAP MRT, but that was ages ago. Lately, doctors have been looking into autoimmune disorders to explain some of my strange symptoms.

Anyway, the company did send me my results within the promised timeframe, and a lot of the results actually confirmed what I already knew from previous testing, but there was also some new information. It showed me that I'm highly reactive to all types of wheat, which is a step up from the "moderate" reaction shown in my previous LEAP MRT results. But since my symptoms were getting worse, like experiencing digestive pain and coughing every time I ate wheat, it makes sense that my reaction is stronger now. Interestingly, my 23andme results also revealed that I have a celiac variant, even though I've been tested for full-blown celiac and don't have it.

Unfortunately, testing for food and substance intolerances is still a work in progress. So, in general, if you can afford it and you're suffering in some way, it might be worth exploring different types of tests to get a clearer picture. However, if you're concerned about a true allergy that could be life-threatening, you really should consult with an allergist. They're the experts in that area. Personally, I like to combine traditional Western medicine with holistic and even some Chinese medicine when needed. It's good to keep an open mind and consider other options, especially when my GI doctor and allergist both told me that they don't believe in intolerances. But I know for sure that I have noticeable reactions to certain things that can't be explained by regular igE testing. Thankfully, my primary care doctor is open-minded too, and she suggested trying an elimination diet and gave me resources to learn more about my symptoms and how to heal.
