I ordered a baby product back in May and was tracking it for the shipping date. All this time they already charged my credit card. I had to call them to find out why the tracking is still showing awaiting shipment and I was told the product is backordered. I was given an option to wait for new delivery to arrive with the timeframe they gave me. Nothing happened it was taking forever. I had to call and cancel and was reassured I will get my refund. From the time I cancelled to this date is one and a half month now. Customer service is repeatedly telling me they're resending messages to expedite processing. Scammed! I'm getting over the money I lost to them but this is to everybody out there who may be attracted to the exceedingly discounted prices they have for their medical equipments and supplies. My advice...look somewhere else and do a little research first.

highway robbery and company getting away with it don't let them take your money! Also promoting perfect skin? free sample with only 3.00 dollars shipping cost you never receive your free sample but get charged 103.00

I ordered an Omron HEM-711AC blood pressure monitor from Allegro Medical. It was done on-line on 4/17/11 and they charged me an additional $24 for "expedited shipping". I received the UPS delivery on 4/20 and there was an Omron BP742 in the box.

I called the following day and the customer service representative agreed that I had not received the item I ordered. She said she would arrange for me to ship the item back and the model I had ordered to be sent to me. Then I received an e-mail from her saying that she had called the warehouse in California and the HEM-711AC was "not available" so they had sent the BP742 instead! (I was never contacted as to whether this "substitution" was acceptable.)

In the same e-mail, I was told that a prepaid shipping label would be sent to me by Tuesday (4/26) and as of Friday, I still haven't received the promised shipping label.

Belatedly, I decided to check customer reviews on this company and found similar experiences to mine. Several individuals said the only way they were able to resolve their problems with Allegro Medical was to make a complaint with the Arizona Better Business Bureau so I submitted it on-line last night.

I usually order from Amazon and from now on, if it's not available through Amazon, I just won't get it!

This company refused to acknowledge my cancellation, took over 4 weeks to send me a return authorization, and it is now more than four weeks since the product was returned and signed for, and they have not issued a credit. One customer service person promised to issue a call tag for the walker I attempted to cancel within 24 hours; this never happened and when I called again, a different customer service person told me that I had been given wrong information. There are no supervisors to talk to; the on hold time often exceeds 10 minutes, and return emails to customer service take days. The charge remains on my credit card. They blame everything on the "warehouse." I do not recommend doing business with this company.

I order an item in January and was charged for it in February. it is now the middle of April and I have yet to received my item. I have cslled and emailed Allegro about this. I was initially told someone had requested a return for this item and this was not me. They said they would correct and get my pulse oximeter sent out immediatly. Next I was told it was a warehouse problem and they would fix this. Obviously nothing has been done about this and I am out $125.00. DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Stay away from Allegro Medical.They charge credit card and you will never receive your item. They will say it is on backorder, and when you call they say your order is being sent out that day. They say you can cancel the order but they wont refund even if you never receive anything.

Terrible customer service. They charged my card immediately almost 2 month ago, order was never shipped. After 2 weeks I canceled order and still I did not get my money back... Nobody replies to e-mails, they are terrible, do not buy anything from them!

My complaint is pretty much the same as all the rest my item showed in stock And it says it will be shipped within two days on my order confirmation it also says so on the website. I waited and waited and waited and watched for confirmation of shipping which never came I spent days going round and round with customer service who was totally complacent and just kept saying the same thing over and over again "that product comes from our vendor and is not in stock and I'm waiting word of when it will ship as soon as I know I will let you know" they wouldn't even acknowledge the inconvenience they cost me and never even said "I'm sorry"
I finally wrote a message to their Facebook page and got a response there but this person argued with me about the wording of their shipping fulfillment time saying it's 1-3 business days. But apparently he can't count because were seven days out and still hasn't shipped, if we go by his rules we've still got a problem. I told them to cancel the order several times during each of my correspondence is creating the message on Facebook and send a confirmation that it has been done. Reply was that the order had already been shipped, however I still saw no confirmation of that and there was still no tracking information present on their website. 12 hours later I finally received a notice that my order has shipped. Well isn't that suspicious! Supposedly it's actually on its way now.
The lock bottom line for me is that sometimes things happen sometimes things are out of stock even when they show that you are in stock, that's frustrating to the customer and to the company but it could've been worked out. Think I'm really irritates me about this company is complacent attitude of customer service, the way they gave me the runaround, how they argued with me, and deceptive by telling me that product actually shipped, even though it hadn't because they didn't want to cancel my order. They never take responsibility for anything and never apologize. I sure hope the product is what it's supposed to be and arrives in good shape. I sure wish I had looked for reviews about this company before I ordered from them. Take my advice . Thinking about ordering from allegro medical, DONT DO IT!

Allegro Medical is to be avoided. As with many others who have complained, I ordered a product, my credit card was immediately charged, ten days later the order was still awaiting shipment. Order was cancelled, weeks go by, several emails go unanswered, two phone calls are made and grand promises made, but the charge still remains on my card. I have forwarded everything to my credit card company and will be filing a complaint with BBB. I was also wondering if taking them to Small Claims court would get their attention. Under the laws in my state, company must show up in my court. They usually hire a local lawyer to represent them. It's costly to them. Down side? You have to pay them and then file the claim.

They showed to have an item in stock, but did not. I called two weeks later and asked about the status..they never returned my call. I cancelled the order and they wiull not return my calls. The "president" craig hood will not take calls and will not respond to my emails.
Do not do business with Allegro.

I ordered a product that was defective. They refused to refund my money and refused to allow the item to be returned. After about 6 weeks of messing with them, I bought the item locally. After 2 months they send me another item, even though I told them clearly I had already purchased the item locally and just wanted my money back. No word from them on my refund. Another item for my next garage sale. Don't buy from Allegro Medical.

Yes Allegro has a great selection and fair prices, however the positive comments stop there. I ordered a sliding board online 10/8/10. They offered a 20% discount when you applied a code. As I was ordering, before I got to the "apply the code section", a pop up appeared offering me more products at a discount. As I didn't need these, I clicked off and lo and behold my order was finalized without applying the discount! I called the 1800 number and was on hold for about 10 minutes when a message came on saying to call back during regular business hours. It was during regular business hours, so I investigated until I found a corporate headquarters number. I called, explained about the phone problem and got my order completed with my discount and paying for expeditied shipping (an outrageous amount). I was told to expect my item on the following Wednesday, Oct. 13. When I tried to find a tracking number to track my package none was available. I called again and was told the item was back ordered but would arrive by Oct 18. I was not informed of this via email or phone call. Mind you I was charged for the item and shipping straight away. The woman graciously offered to refund my shipping. She refunded $5.00 of a $20.00 shipping charge. Again I called and complained, repeated the story and was refunded another $6.00. This is the 2cd time this has happened and as I informed them the last. I will no longer do business with this firm.

Well, I'm reading this page a dollar late and a dollar short. I ordered something from this company a month ago and it still shows no tracking available. I have written four emails asking for information and they won't even reply to the emails.

I don't know know how to figure out who the manager of the company or CEO is - what I want to do is to write him with this information and ask him if he is aware that this is what is being passed off as "customer service" in the company.

Obviously I would be wasting my time.

I need to contact my credit card company and try to get the charges withdrawn.

Who else do I need to contact - there must be more agencies nationally than the Better Business place isn't there -After reading at this site I should understand that this is a terrible, unreliable and dishonest place to do any business with at all.

Thank you for any information you could give me to complain with effectiveness.

Allegro Medical in Mesa Arizona. I am a practicing dentist in southern California. I orderred a message chair cover through Allegro Medical for one of my patient dental chairs in my office. As soon as I opened the box that contained the item, I could tell the item would not work as it did not look like the item on their web site and the item would not fit on my dental chair. I immediately packaged the item in the same plastic bag and box it was shipped in, and sent it back to the company two weeks later after they finally gave me a return authorization number. Four weeks later I called the company as I had not seen a credit on my credit card statement. The company assured me that the matter was on review, that they had the item and that the matter was being expedited. After another call to the company several weeks later, the customer service person was saying the exact thing the previous employee said weeks before. I even told the employee that I suspected the company was a shady oporation and that I felt like I needed to call my credit card company. The employee agreed that the company was and is a shady company and that I should call my credit card company.

My credit card company reversed the charge on my statement. However, there is a 45 day period that the merchant can contest the claim. The merchant did contest the claim and said the item was returned damaged, that it had, "dirt and paint on it" and that it could not be resold.

This is absolutley untrue, as I packaged it immediately the same was as it was shipped. My credit card company has contacted me and now says there is nothing they can do and the charge will again appear on my statement. I do not have the product, nor the product with the dirt and the paint on it. I have nothing but a $237.54 charge on my credit card. This is robbery.

After this mornings phone call with my credit card company I did a google search for "Allegro Medical Billing Complaints" or "Allegro Mediacl Complaints", Upon review of a web site named epinions.com, and several others, it is very clear that I was correct in my assumption of being given the run around by this company and that I have been a victim of theft.

I will be contacting the Federal trade commission regarding this matter as it is obvious that no athority has done anything to deal with this merchant and their fradulent business practices.

Well Like the rest of all these consumers I too have been ripped off by Allegro Medical. I purchased some kinesiotape back in September never got the tape or my money. Asked to talk to a manager and was told that I can't due to company policy and that a manager would tell me the same thing anyway. I have since filled a complaint with BBB. I think they need a class action lawsuit against them.

Unfortunately I researched this company too late! Same exact thing is happening as we speak. On Sept. 9th 2009 I ordered a Spa in a Box with no mention of a back order. I found it strange that on the 14th my status still read awaiting shipment, so I called to inquire. I was informed of a 2-3 week back order and wasn't happy about the lack of notification that the product was backordered so I cancelled my order and was told that a refund would be issued within 3 business days. On the 3rd business day a second call was made informing them that the refund hadn't occurred and they apologized stating the correct refund time frame was 3-5 business days. Today, the 22nd or the 6th business day I got the run around from Justine saying all she could do was put in a request to expedite processing. After stating that was unsatisfactory and requesting a supervisor on multiple occasions I was put on hold and told when she came back that after doing some research she was able to determine that my refund would post on Oct. 9th... or 20 business days! I again told her this was unsatisfactory and was adamant that I spoke with someone else. She took my contact number and said she would have her supervisor call me. I then hung up and called back and spoke with a man named Jeff who stated he would contact his supervisor as well and would be back in touch before the end of today with more information. This is where we stand... More to come!

Same problem. Product ordered 6/30/09, card charged 7/2/09. Repeatedly called each time being assured that my card would be refunded. Not allow to speak with supervisor. Guess I paid nearly $94 stupid tax. Won't do it again - at least not with this company.

Same story, different product. They charge your credit card but never send the merchandise. In repeated calls to customer service and politely requesting to speak to a manager the beaten down employee stated "She's not in the office. I'll take your name and number and she'll get back to you at HER convenience." Have not heard back either by phone or by email.

EVERYONE - PLEASE SUBMIT A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. IT'S SLOW BUT IT WORKS SOMETIMES. IT TAKES 2 MINUTES. ALSO - CONTACT YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO PAY, EXCEPT WITH YOUR SANITY!

Same as above. They charged the card right away. The next day I got an email saying it was not in stock and no time frame on when it would be. I called and emailed within 2 hours of that email to cancel. It has been two months, many emails and calls and still no credit. I am always told it is "in process". Only one email has ever been returned and that took 37 days only to get the same "showing that this order has been canceled and we are in the process of issuing a refund back to your account" BS. The website still shows my order waiting to ship.

Nearly same experience. Cancelled same order 11 times over last two months. On each phone call to
"Customer Service" I am told the order will be cancelled. They claim to call their "warehouse" to confirm
cancellation. Sometimes they pretend to contact their "Resolution" unit. To date : order not cancelled and
of course my credit card is still charged.
