Bad experience. I chose this place 'cause I'm scared of dentists and needed work done. They say "no judgement ever" but that's a lie. I had tooth pain and called to make an appointment. They said 8:10am and I got there at 7:30am. Waited in the lobby 'til the receptionist came at 7:40am. She told me to leave and come back at 8am. I did what she said and came back at 8am. She told me to go outside and come back at 8:10am. I told her I was told 8am and my appointment was in 10 minutes. She checked and said my insurance wasn't accepted and I had to pay $200 to see the dentist. But the person on the phone said my insurance was covered. I showed her my new dental plan with the same insurance and asked to reschedule. She said they never heard of the dentist I wanted to see. They need to fix their policies. They'd charge me a cancellation fee if I arrived at 8:10am. When a white lady came in, they treated her better. People of color have the same complaints on Yelp. They need to be less discriminatory.

Went to NoHo Dental Inc. on 12/21 and gave them my Delta Dental cover, they said I was covered. They took my credit card for the booking but said they wouldn't charge me without asking. I also gave them my social security and my partner's. But then they said they didn't have our insurance, even though I gave them the details a bunch of times. Then they took $350 out of my bank account on 02/13 without asking. I didn't say they could take money out of my account, especially since my Delta Dental plan covered it. I tried to get a refund but their customer service is terrible. They won't let me talk to a manager and they keep saying they'll get back to me but they never do. After a week, I called Delta Dental and they said they paid Tend on 02/17 for $221. Tend took $350 without asking and they're also saying my partner owes $1300 when he doesn't. Luckily his bank stopped them from taking the money. I just want my money back so I can pay my bills and eat. Tend caused me a lot of stress.
