Providing false information to get money
I made a call to ALAGASCO spook to Cassandra and her supervisor Rivera. I was assured that if I made a payment before the end of business day that my services would not be interrupted. Yet my services were interrupted and now they are telling me that I have to pay a reconnect fee and a down payment. Therefore I have now been lied to by two people. Then I called back and talked to three different people and nothing was resolved. Not only was it not resolved I have been told that there guarantee was no good and met nothing because they could not contact their employ in the field to stop the cut of process. While the gentlemen that were here disconnecting the service, they informed my husband that he had a phone that customer service could contact him on. So I don't understand who does not know how to do their job or just doesn't know the correct information. When it is winter and people have to have the service and why they will say one thing and another happen.
Horrible cust service & crooked business
I paid the "past due" amount on my bill ONLINE because for some reason I do not receive statements in any form. My service was disconnected without warning on a Friday, when I got home & realized this I called & of course they were closed for the weekend. The emergency line person was completely & inexcusably rude & told me I'd have to call on Monday. So after 3 days without gas (heat, water & stove) I call only for the person who finally answered after 22 minutes of being on hold to also be rude & explain to me that not only did they see my payment made on Friday of $105 but I would have to pay an additional $100 before the service would be reconnected. I asked for a supervisor only to get the third RUDE person in that company to tell me $75 & the service would not be connected until Tuesday. She cannot tell me where this $75 will go, just that it will not be applied to my bill. I hang up, pay this completely stupid charge so that we will have heat & hot water in January, call back & sit on hold for 27 more minutes to then be told it will now be "some time on Wednesday" before my service is turned back on. This is absolutely unacceptable & I will be contacting EVERYONE that will listen to have something done! All of this is AFTER we just moved from another place with this same stupid company, requested a transfer of service & were required to pay a deposit of $150 in August (4 months ago) as well! These people are stealing their customers BLIND & I will not accept it!
Something similar happened to me. I did not receive a bill of any sort via mail, email, telephone call. My service was turned off . On Friday I tried to re-establish service, but their policy doesn't allow it. I had to go the entire weekend without hot water, heat, and a working stove. In phone conversations regarding why I did not receive a bill, the representative said that my bills were being returned to them and they didn't have any contact info. for me. This is a outright lie because when you establish service using the online application, you must provide an email address and a telephone # along with your current address. They focused mainly on placing the blame on me for not receiving a bill. Horrible company
This company did me the exact same way and it's ridiculous how awful this company being a utility provider. They charged me 175(deposit)+50(reconnect) for a 50$ bill that was a day late. Management was cruel and insensitive to customer needs and they even sent the account to collections for credit reporting after 1 month of being final. Company is a disgrace and we really need competitors immediately!
I totally agree with that as the exact same thing happened to me only they required 175(deposit)+50(reconnect) for a 50$ bill that was paid a day late!. They are rude crooks with no regard for human beings. Their policies are rigid and unfair...competition step up!
Bad customer service
We went to set up new service at our local Alagasco (Selma) only to find out they no longer have a customer service. They gave us a fax number to send our rental agreement and copy of our drivers license. No specific person to send it to, just fax it. I call about 30 minutes later to follow up to make sure they had received. The lady could not help. She said it would take 1-2 days for "the deparment" to "process my fax" and they would give us a call. She could not tell me if my fax was received! Here it is Friday and no call. We called to follow up and guess what, they had NOT processed our request for connection. It has been below freezing, no heat, no hot water! Can you imagine how comfortable it has been with young children crowded in one bedroom with a small space heater and boiling water for a bath? I guess Alagasco do whatever they want, without a care in the world because they know we have no other options. This is absolutley assanine!
Came home to a disconnect notice at 6pm... no call or chance to resolve so that I have no hot water until they return. I'm very disappointed at the lack of courtesy over $150.
I’m trying to get someone on the phone because I have a new gas heater that needs to be connected. I been on hold for 45 minutes so far and I’m still on hold as I type. Ridiculous! Wow how long is the wait time? I have school assignments due and 2 businesses to work on….can someone answer dang
Three times in less than a year my gas was cut off without any warning or reason. Twice THEIR auto pay system failed and once they neglected to transfer service even though I submitted a notice online. If it wasn't for their unfair monopoly then I would never use this corrupt organization again.
