AIY Properties review: Referral program

My name is Vince Addison. My address is 4529 Kirk Rd. Apt 7 Austintown,Oh.

I was told by your project manager and you have it on your web page that if you refer someone, that you would get 200.00 off your rent. I was told this by your property manager at the time of signing my lease. Well, I referred, my co-worker Fran Connolly and he decided to move in another AIY property instead of moving into Deer Creek. My problem is I was told if I referred someone and they moved in I would get the $200. I did just that and was told today 4 months later that I would not get the money because he didn't move into Deer Creek. Obviously, there is a communication problem with your company. There is no indication on your website or inside of your lease package that states that in order to get the money they have to move into the complex you are staying in (Deer Creek Apt). I would like my $200 credit and I would like for you to inform all of your properties the correct information concerning the referral program because on your web page it does not say what Ms. Diana told me today. I would like to talk to some from corporate to get this situation handled. I have 3 more people arriving next month but if you guys are going to treat me this way, why would I refer people to your properties. I'm not worried about the money I make well over $150,000 per year but it's principle and you should honor your word. It's on your web site.
