Air Conditioning Specialist review: 2 year hvac maintenance agreement.

I am writing to dispute a charge dated 06/30/2022 that I paid to the Air Conditional Specialist, 2618 Airline Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701, by Credit Card, for a 2-year maintenance agreement covering my HVAC system installed by them in 2015. I have been unable to get a technician to my house even if they said one has been scheduled 5 different times. The scheduled dates were July 18, 2-6 PM - no show as they said truck broke down, July 19, 12-2 PM no show and they say the technician scheduled for this was on vacation, July 26th, 8-12 AM, no show, July 29th, 8-12 AM no show and August 2ns, 2-6 PM a no show even though I was told it was marked and Art the technician was to show without fail. As you can see, I spent 20 hours waiting on these scheduled dates for a technician with no results. The phone number for them is [protected] and the Fax number is [protected].

Due to the lack of service support, I feel that Air Conditioning Specialist Heating and Cooling Company violated the agreement, and I should be fully reimbursed for the $336.60 they collected for this agreement.

I have contacted them numerous times concerning this dispute and have not received any satisfaction that they are listening to me. The receptionist, I talked to (Lauren) on August 15th stated that the Manager Mr. Allan Smith would contact me and take care of this. He was to call me that same day. Well, here it is August 29th and no calls from this company.

I hope this information will be of some help and should you need any additional information, I really don’t know what else to say except I have spent many hours trying to resolve this locally but to no avail. The irony of this is this is the company that installed my HVAC system in May 15th, 2015 and I have had Maintenance Agreements with them since the installation, except for the Pandemic period (2020 until now) with no problems.

Desired outcome: Since I have not received any service for preventative maintenance, I would like a full refund of my $336.60 since they failed to honor the agreement.
