ordered the cover in 11/2021 its been 15 months and never got anything and when called for my money back they kept saying they would mail a check and i heard that story month after month and knew something was wrong and could not even charge back on my CC bc bank said there is certain amount of time able to do so and that has passed so i chalked it up as a loss. Now finally i see they are completely shut down. does anyone know how to get involved in the class action lawsuit ?

On June 21, I ordered replacement hot tub cover. I paid in full for it in the amount of $330. I checked with the company to see how long it would take to receive the cover and was told that due to shipping issues and difficulties in receiving supplies, it would be about 6 months. It has now been 8 months and I have tried to reach the company, but their website is down and there is no way to contact them.

I ordered a spa cover in mid-November of 2022. Affordable Spas ran my card, charged me for the cover, and then emailed me to tell me to expect my cover within 6 weeks. I contacted them through their website a few weeks ago, asking them about the status of my order. No response.

their website has been off line for the past week (that I know of, as I just checked). This company is a scam and a ripoff. I want a refund. I have disputed the charges with my credit card company.

I needed to replace a hot tub cover for my hot tub. I searched on line and found a dealer that offered free shipping and seemed to be reputable at the time. The name of the company is Affordable Spa Covers (affordablespacovers.com) in Clearwater FL. I place an order for a new spa cover on July 2, 2022 and the immediately processed my order ID #154609 to my credit card in the amount of $454.00. I was told it would be from 12 to 16 weeks to manufacture the cover and get it shipped to me.

On Oct. 6, 2022, I emailed the company and requested an update of my order. On Oct. 8, 2022 I received an email response stating they are running 16 – 26 weeks from purchase date because of a high number of orders since their closure and reopening during the last year. They said they would keep me updated. On Jan. 12, 2023 I send another email requesting an update and never received a response back.

I tried going to the website and it no longer exists. I called the phone number I was given and it state the number has been suspended. I see online that there are many complaints with the BBB with the same problem.

Ordered a Spa Cover from Affordable Spas on June 16, 2022. Was suppose to receive it in October 2022. Called them and was told that there was a production problem and that I will be getting it in March of 2022. Tried to call them on February 9,2023 to find out the status of my order and now the I get a recording stating that the telephone number is temporarily UNAVAILABLE! I would really like to know what is going on with this company and if they can not provide me with what I paid for, then REFUND MY MONEY!

I ordered a hot tub cover May 5, 2022 and I have not received it yet. I called them in August and was told that I still had 3 months until it would be delivered. It's past that and I cannot get any replies to emails. The last time I tried the telephone number it would ring and ring until it would go to voice mail. I have left numerous emails and messages with no response. I paid $435.00 and there is nothing I can do about it.

I ordered a hot tub lid in Nov 22. I have contacted them several times, I was able to reach someone twice, one over the phone and once in email. Both times they told me it was in production and should be shipped within 10-15 days. I have tried to contact them now and the phone is not the previous line, it just rings and goes to a blank voicemail. They no longer have a website. This is a fraudulent company. I have reported it to my credit card and we will see if I can get a refund. BE AWARE!

Ordered a cover in March 2022, it did ship in October of 2022 BUT was damaged and I had to refuse the shipment. A replacement order was supposedly immediately placed to be re-shipped in 8 - 13 weeks.

It is now February 2023, well past the 13 weeks and no word on the re-shipment AND it is impossible to get any one to respond to inquiries made via email or phone. My credit card was charged for this cover back in March 2022.

I ordered and paid for a spa cover April 2021. They said production was delayed due to COVID. Initially, I talked with customer service for my first 4 inquiries. Each time I was told it would ship the next month. I then switched to email inquiries so that I could have a record of communication. I was given the same information. It would ship next month. The last promise was that it would ship January 2023. None of my email are being returned, their phones are now disconnected. I'm now that they took my money and ran. Unfortunately, I have no recourse with my credit card company since fraud needs to be reported to them within 60 days. Affordable Spa Covers strung me along until they knew they had the money and I could not get a credit card refund.

I ordered a spa cover April 28, 2022 for $520.00. Order ID 149600. Received email confirmation of order immediately. As of February 2, 2023 I have still not received my cover. I have called and emailed several times with no answer or no response. This company has definitely scammed me. I have filed a complaint with the BBB as well as contacted the Attorney General's Office in Florida. I hope a resolution will come from that but I am doubtful. I am out $520.00. Don't let this happen to you. Do not use this company.

This company is a fraud. I ordered in july 2022. Was told after contacting them a week after placing the order shipping they are 16-24 weeks after placing order. 16 weeks later I asked for an update then they said it was expected to ship 3-4 few months later from then. I asked for a refund. No reply. Reported to the bbb and then was told i'd get a refund. This was in november 2022. Still no refund. Do not order from this place. I'm out $500+!

I ordered a custom cover from this company in April 2021. They cited delays due to COVID. This was BS. I finally cancelled my order and requested a refund, as they had not even STARTED production after 8 months. I have reached out to them every month and keep getting the run-around. I'm totally fed up.

Place is a scam, waiting over a year for my cover. They blamed it on covid at first. Then,it was a shipping issue on material. I canceled my order. They offered me $25 to reinstate my order and promised it would be delivered. It never showed up. When I finally got through to a customer service rep, she told me my order was canceled. They claim I never reinstated and had no record of me getting a check. So I asked where is my refund check for $400 if my order was canceled. They claimed I'd receive the check in January or February 2023. I called bs.. and it shouldn't take that long. They claim their checks where being duplicated and the bank had to figure the issue out. What a lie! Stay away from this business! I see they have federal lawsuit filed against them by the attorney General in Florida.

I ordered a spa cover 4/30/22 - order # 149706 and was told 2 to 3 months. I emailed on 7/25/22 and received an email on 7/26/22 saying that the cover would be shipped in November and was delayed due to supply chain issues. I have received nothing and emails and calls are not returned. I paid $520, which was charged to my credit card at the time of the order.

Same complaint as everyone else. Paid in full for my cover and never received it. Has been over 1 year. Order #137473. I was told that there were supply chain issues, so I just kept waiting. I requested a refund on June 28th which they agreed to in an email. They said they would mail a check in 3-4 weeks. I havent received the refund. Now I realize there is a bigger problem.

My emails aren't going through to [protected]@affordablespacovers.com and they don't answer their Customer Service phone number.

Wondering if there is any recourse? looks like there are enough complaints that a lawsuit should be filed.

I purchased a spa cover from https://www.affordablespacovers.com on February 2, 2021. I never received it. I inquired about it about 12-15 times by phone and I was told there were issues with the foam supplier they had dew to covid-19. I believed them and just waited. every time I called/emailed it was 1-2 months out from the date I called... Finally after a year and a half of waiting I requested my money back on . June 20, 2022. They responded with the following. "We were unable to process an automatic refund. We will send you a check for $435 within 3-4 weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience. Joanna V ​" I received the response on the same day 6/20/2022. I have never gotten a check and now when I call it just says the voicemail is full. I have also sent follow up emails requesting the money back and have heard nothing. Sales I have not received a refund check. Please call me and let me know the status of the refund... [protected]. Can you tell me when it was sent or if it even was sent? please reply ASAP. I have tried to call and it just goes to voicemail. Rod I would like to get my money back as now it is way to late to get a refund from the credit card company. They lied over and over to buy time so I could not go after them with the credit card company and i believed them..

I ordered a replacement cover on 8/28/21 my card was charged immediately for $279.00. I never received the cover so I emailed them and was also told a foam storage. After 3 months of that excuse I cancelled my order and was told that my card could not be refunded they would have to issue me at check. I cancelled order on 5/5/22 and I have been trying to get my refund every since. There is always an excuse. I have all the email correspondences. My order number was 130710.
