This is a really insidious company that lures you to a $4.95 trial of a product they boast is promoted by Oprah. You can cancel if you are in any way dissatisfied by phone, email or live chat. However you are tricked into signing up for a host of programs that are really unclear, and apparently are far from free. It is hard enough to contact AcaiBurn with the ways they provide. The phone will not be answered, or if it is you will wait for a very long time and then be most assuredly disconnected. If you send an email, there will be no response from the company. I was able to cancel via a live chat. Having discovered the myriad of complaints about this company after my trial order, I also called to cancel my credit card. However the credit card company convinced me to cancel that card and get a new number. Well this month a new $4.95 charge for online access and a $59.95 charge for who knows what appeared on that new card. My credit card company is battling the charge. But still I have elected not only to cancel that card, but also block it. I have no idea what other charges I got signed into, and worse yet what the process would be to get out of them. This company is so shady, it is not worth any try. You will get hoodwinked into a program you can not get out of. You have no idea what the charges will be and what they are for. Even the cost of the supplements if you liked them, was not disclosed upon signing on to the "free" trial offer. I found the tablets really awful and would not want to take them. When you sign up there are several other "benefits' listed all seemingly free and harmless enough. But you are apparently unwittingly signing up your credit card for things you simply didn't authorize and are not even aware of! You will receive no billing from anybody! You will have no idea where to go. If my credit company (Chase) did not take this on for me, I don't know where to begin. Chase reported that they have had plenty of dealings with this company...yet they continue. I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and will with the Better Business Bureau. Don't get swindled: just don't sign up!

I accepted a free trial (s&h) of the Acaiburn. I tried calling the phone number to get an RMA# for several days prior to the expiration of my 14day free trial. (I read the terms and conditions) I could not get any answer on the [protected] so I just boxed up the balance of the 30 day supply and returned it. I received a 30 day supply on feb. 12th and wrote on the package return to sender. I tehn checked my cc and saw they had charged my acct. 59.95 and this also had the phone number of [protected]. I called again and this time it stated . "This is an automated response. Please wait 48hrs. for your acct. details to be updated.
It is now Feb. 20th. and the charge is still on my acct.
I have contacted my bank and will wait 30 days for the 59.95 to be credited, after that the bank is authorized to take money back from Acaiburn.

Let's be fair to everyone. Acaiburn has placed the details of their plans to enroll their customers in an expensive repetative sales scheme in the most obscure part of their promotions. Yes, it may be there, but not on the display pages where it promotes the FREE TRIAL. WELL, A FREE TRIAL SHOULD BE FREE AND THEIR PRACTICES ARE INTENTIONALLY MISLEADING AND DECEPTIVE. This is fraudulent and no legitimate product is marketed this way. And. . . it didn't work!

Cannot reach by using the “Contact” address on their website, which bounces, or by telephone - am left on hold forever!

This "free" trial subscription had me believe I would be charged some
USD4.95 or so for postage, but I was actually charged USD24.95 (Feb 26, 2009). I did receive a bottle of the product.

I was of the understanding that this was a 30-day trial and I am now shocked to see that I have been charged USD59.95 on March 19 2009 - ie I was not even given the promised 30 days in which to notify them if I wished to continue with the product, and neither was I notified that my credit card was about to be charged again, and I have neither received a second shipment.

As everyone here knows that Acaiburn are a bunch of crooks stealing ood peoples money, and in this case preying on our weaknesses (i.e. trouble loosing weight). As a result of hundreds of dollars going missing out of my acount, i have had to cancel my card as the only way to stop them taking money from my account! In doing this my bank (ANZ) informed me they are currently investigating hundreds of these claims for the same company. Spread the word people!

Signed up for "free" trial of Acaiburn, free trial was charged in full 14 days later. Return of 2 products (return receipt) resulted in NO REFUND. Also, WORLD FITNESS and betterdtox charged card WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. I was told by WORLD FITNESS and ACAIBURN that there was an "opt out" button somewhere on the website and a confirmation e-mail shold have been sent, IT WAS NOT. Since when is not opting out of something authorization? The name WORLD FITNESS was nowhere on any portion I completed on the website. ACAIBURN now states that becuase they changed thier credit card merchant, I have to dispute the transaction though my bank. BEWARE they are THIEVES.

i ordered a sample on line and shippign was 4.95 and i read it all and that was all i was ordering. A few minutes after placing the order i recieved a phone call confirming the order adn the guy told me he was signing me up for more and other things too and I told him no and just cancel it all then and that i did not want anythign then adn he finally just hung up on me! I did recieve what I thought was the sample even though i told them to cancel it all i kept it. Well the following month i got charged 79.28 by a company called improvhealth and a foreign transaction fee i called and it was from the acriburn people and I explained to her all that happened and sh finally said as a courtesy she would refund it for me but it woudl nto show upr for two or three months on my bill. well a few days later i got another bottle in the mail that i did not open adn i looked on my cc account and i was now billed 87.62 from a company calledwellbhealth and a different phone number so I called it and got the same people and they pulled up the original notes and told me tht the foirst girl caught it and that she was issueing me a credit for that too and that it would take a while too. I told them that i was going to take the shipment to the possst office and send it back as refused and she told me i could not do that. but if i would as a courtesy send ti to a different address that she woudl send me and it woudl cost me the shipping I told her i woudl when i got the credit but she never sent me the information to do tha. Well a couple of months went by and i never received credit and only an emil saying all was cancelled from my first phone call.. In the mean time i received six more small charges of 17.32 from different named companies form the first order too. I finally reported it to my credit card company (citibank) and they clossed my account and issued a credit for the six small charges but have now sent me a note that they can not help me because it has been too long for the too large charges even though i waited as the company told me to because two people confirmed they were refunding the charges. Now i called back the original people and they told me i woudl never receive credit because i did not return it all even though they said they were refunding the charges as a courtesy and asked me to return the one bottle if i would. I told them i waited as i was told but now they say it is too long and they hae no way to refund the charges . so they told me to wait this time to get the refund so the credit card comapny would not help adn now they will not either do i am out liek 160. for soem thing tht i told them i did not want five minutes after the original order and i never asked for! i also feel the credit card company is wrong since i was doing as i thought i was suppose to by not involving them when i was told the refund was coming from the company and when i realized it was not I reported it . They all win i loose! not right!

A few days ago, I ordered the 30-day trial bottle of this product for $2.95 shipping. It was clearly stated on their web site that should I happen to cancel within 14 days, there would be no other charges. I have this in writing, saved screen shots from the web site when I ordered, all fully documented... if anyone wants to see this proof, just email me at d_pavlica at yahoo dot com.

I called today (well within that 14-day trial period) to cancel. First, there was a long wait to talk to a live person, about 25 minutes. Then I talked to a rude woman who told me that she is cancelling, and that there would be one last charge of $87.62 for the trial. With the shipping, that makes ninety bucks for their FREE TRIAL? When I reminded her that I was cancelling well within their 14-day free trial period, she said it did not matter and started arguing with me then hung up the phone.

I called my credit card company and they said they were having a lot of problems with this company. They are scamming people all over, lots and lots of unauthorized charges. They also said that this company had a teeth whitening product, and lots of complaints over that too.

Being that I gave them my credit card number, there is no way of stopping any future charge. I would have to argue each one, and technically this is not fraud?! This is actually what my credit card company said. They suggested that I change my credit card number immediately, as this was the only way to prevent further charges, so I did.

This AcaiBurn company is awful. Stay away, blog about it, warn your friends... there may actually be a legitimate business out there selling this stuff, but be veeeeeery careful. Definitely do your homework and spend a little time before placing the order to see if the company is legit and how many complaints are out there against it. This will save you lots of time in the end.

I have orderd this product a whlie ago and have yet to recieve it.
sadly there are people like my self who wish for help in loosing weight and fell for the fatefull trap. I ordered in good faith and am disgusted by this behaviour. However I pitty people who feel they have to dupe honest members of the public who work hard for their money in order to make a quick buck.
I am not prepared to phone america to attept to get my money back but I will be informing the relevent authorities and a close family friend who is a journalist to warn unsuspecting members of the public.

I ordered my product online in april 2009. I was sent a package and finally realized this product was not working. I called to have my visa card statement in June ! Hence, I called the acaisupport line and they said in order for me to get my refund i would have to get to return the shipped product back to them but i only got it july 17 2009. I called them to tell them that i just recieved the product and that i will ship it back to the shipping company. I aksed the rep if I needed a tracking number and he said no. Good! So I sent it back and i took a picture of the package just in case something funny would happen like these companies do with all kinds of excuses they have in the book...
Hence teo debits occurred; April 6 2009 $64.02 which I requested my $$ back regarding the 60 day money back policy and May 27 2009 $69.62. Please note these are in CAD funds. I never authorized the May 27th 2009 transaction! NEVER! but they said I had to wait for my shippment to arrive before i get my funds back...

Hence, today December 3rd I called after having spent 6.00 dollars to fax statements of my visa card of June, July and August 2009 on November 24 2009. I asked them if they can correspond with me via email when they have a response for me but they simply did not call nor replied via email especially for me as i am hard of hearing...

Guess what? They told me i needed a tracking number to locate the product but the product was sent back to the company that shipped it...They simply get it back and open the package and should advise acaiburn that the package was returned and should refund the customer...Well well well...Sorry sir we cannot help you and they hung up! Not once, twice but 3 times!

I asked for the coordinate of the company president and email and phone number but to no avail no one responds!

I am very upset...please people stay away from these scams...I learned a big lesson...Never will i order aproduct on phone or via internet...waste of time, money and energy! Can someone help me recover me funds?

I ordered the trial, which never was sent to me. Within a week there were charges for $2.95, $2.95 and $87.62. I called within 48 hours of ordering the product to cancel when I found out it was a subscription service and the cost. They offered to lower the price from $87.62 to $19.95 for a year if I would reconsider. They even sent me an email confirming the new price. I told them I was not interested and that I wanted to cancel before anything shipped to me. I was provided with a six digit cancellation number and told I would not be charged anything and that the $87.62 would be refunded to my account.

Today I logged onto my bank account and saw that on 10/28/09 and on 11/4/09 there were two charges for $87.62 but the interesting thing is that they were from two different companies. The first was for Improvhealth and the second was for BetterDTox. However, both companies are the same company when you call. This is how they scam you, by billing under different company names and then they tell you, you signed up for this one as well as the other one but when you canceled, you only canceled the one and not the other.

I threatened them with litigation and the fact I have notified my bank as well as the Attorney General. They made me a refund for only one of the amounts charged and refused to refund the second amount because it was past the deadline. I have filed affidavit with my bank to get the money back, which I will. I also shut down my credit card so no matter what they try to bill me for again it will not go through.

These people are scam artists and need to be shut down...

This company does not follow through on what they say is a FREE trial offer with no hidden fees or sign up charges. I ordered the FREE trial for 4.95 sh/h and then was charged 180.00 in three additional charges and recieved NO product to show for the charges. It has been a horribly long process to get my money refunded and it still isn't in my bank account yet. Long wait times on phone, dealing with people that can't help you, and not even being able to find your so called account information, yet they are charging you and not always under their company name some charges were from a "webaccess" name.

They try to make you pay 59.00 for some free pills. I called to cancel the e-book, the membership and the pills because you have to cancel all three products separately although you purchase them under one website. I decided to open the pills up today because I'm sending them back just so I can get my 4.95 worth of product that they billed me for. The cap was sealed in plastic, but as I took that off, I noticed that the seal under the cap had been opened and there were still the right amount of pills in the bottle which led me to know that these people recycle these pills. When you send in your unused portion, they send it to someone else. I am sending in all 60 of these contaminated pill and I hope no one else buys this product because you may be receiving the same ones that myself or some other unsuspecting consumer sent back to these people without a conscious.

So called free trial is not free at all. clearly the order confirm states "if you are not sure after 2 full weeks after receiving product, you are still fully covered by 60 day full money back guarantee". However when calling to cancel any FUTURE shipments, you are told that the initial cost of $59.95 will be billed to your acct, after your 15 day trial period to decide if you want the product or not. I've been looking and can't see that particular disclosure. Is there a place to make a formal complaint for this misreprenstation?

i have just ordered a free trial of acaciaberry weight loss tablets. The shipping cost $4.95 but over $14 was charged to my card. As soon as the transaction was processed my computer was clearly being hacked as my cursor took on a life of its own, my antivirus indicated an invalid username or passcode was being used and the bottom bar started saying accessing live face. I am extremely concerned about this invasion of my privacy and i agreed only to a charge of $4.95. How can i get my money back?

These people are total crooks. Their terms and conditions state that if you cancel within the 14 day trial period, you will not be charged again. I was charged anyways, and when I wanted a refund all Kathy kept saying was, please read your terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are absolutely fraudulent and the company does not follow their own terms. Another rep I spoke with after that told me herself that AcaiBurn "Free" Trials are a joke. I recommend that if anyone's considering this product, no matter how often you read their "terms", it's impossible not to get robbed. The product itself is as much of a scam as the company that sells it.

Didn't order Acaiburn. Received Acaiburn, unauthorized billing for sample S/H $4.95, $59.95 for product and $4.95 for web access. Each charge has a different telephone #. When I called, they said these charges would be credited to my account. Just in case, I filed a dispute with my credit card company. After I found this complaint site, boy, am I glad it did. Seems once you order Acai trial offer, all other "acai" companys take the liberty to bill you for products you didn't order. Watch out for X Factor supplement, Acaiberry Max.

Under no circumstances have any dealings with this company.

Do not be taken in by their so-called 'free offer'.

Once they have your charge card account number, they will make charges to it for products you have not ordered for months after.

If you complain, they promise refunds which never arrive.

If, after weeks of complaining by email and phone calls and threats of complaining to your charge card company, they eventually make a refund, it is not for the full amount they originally charged you. They deduct 're-stocking' and 'postage'.

THEY RUN A SCAM. DON'T GET SUCKED IN!

I sent for the $3.95 trial botttle of this product and then they charged my account $29.95 twice and had never received the product. I then called and they said to wait for the shipment to arrive and send it back, which I did and now they say they never received it and refuse to give me my money. I called back and the next man I talked to said for me to produce a tracking slip and they could help me then, so I looked up my slip from UPS store and found out it had been sent ground not ups and there is no tracking #. I called back again and got another man who said I would be given back the 2 charges for $29.95 each within a week and to keep checking my account. It has now been longer than 2 weeks and so far nothing. DON'T TRY THEIR PRODUCT EVER!

I ordered a free trial memebership of AcaiBurn at a cost of $4.95 for the shipping. According to the website you pay for the 14-day trial and if you don't cancel then you are billed $59.95 for each shipment after that. I canceled in the allotted time (had to call 3 different numbers also to cancel the ebooks as well) but was charged for the next shipment anyway. When I called to find out where this final shipment was, as it had been two weeks, I was told that the $59.95 was to cover the charge for the original bottle. Therefore I wasn't owed any additional shipments. Do not fall for this scam. Since I was charged for it I took the product for the full 30 days and got no results. I was even doing intense workouts and I've only lost what a person would lose without their product, average 2 lbs a week. For those of you trying to lose weight, just stick with old fashioned portion control and consistent exercise, forget about these diet supplement scams.

I cancelled the membership prior to the end of trial perio. It took the product 10 days to get to my house, I mailed it back 3 days after that. I was charged $59+ and to this day (16 days after shipping it back) my money has not been credited back. All of a sudden, two extra charges appeared on my account-it seems that, although no on tells you that, when you cancel Acai's membership you need to cancel two more-THAT YOU NEVER SUBSCRIBED FOR TO BEGIN WITH! When you ask them for your money back they say-NO WAY so the only way to do it is dispute it through your credit card Co.Not only that according to my "health store lady" is Acai useless for weight loss but you end up being a victim of a scam you cant seem to get out of. If you already received a refund on your bottle-get a new credit card!

I sent for the offer of a free trial to Acai burn and several weeks later received three bottles and a debit to my credit card supplied for what was meant to be the postage only. I did take the opportunity to try the product however after perseverance and stopping and starting I discovered I was allergic to it. This week I have received a further supply which I do not want Order [protected]. It is scandalous that we have the offer of a free trial and just postage and receive complete orders and it is unsavoury to the public at large. I would like a refund and a cancellation of any further orders.

I telephoned the UK branch of the above on18/8/09 to cancel order. I had received 2 bottles of the above pills but did not want any more. I was told that the third bottle had been despatched and they debited my account accordingly. I have still not received this item or been given a refund.

The number I was given when I cancelled was 374849. The invoice numbers for the 2 bottles I received were 142626 and197020.

I should be grateful for a refund of the amount owing including the exchange rate deducted.

After doing some additional surfing I have found that you must also call [protected] Insider Secrets AND [protected] Comprehensive Weight Loss to cancel your memberships there as well. You have to follow up on all charges AcaiBurn will charge your account by calling them for each charge. Insider Secrets nor Comprehensive Weight Loss will offer refunds but they will stop future charges to your account. When you ask for a refund they just explain to you how STUPID you are not to have read the fine print when you ordered your "sample".

Stay away from AcaiBurn. They say pay $4.95 shipping fee, plus you have trial memberships to 2 other companies. All companies charge you. Before the 14 day trial period is up with AcaiBurn, they already charge you a $59.95 fee for the pills. When you get the pills in, you can pay again to return the pills and they say you will get the $59.95 returned. If you attempt to even try the pills, you are still charged $59.95. How does this make since, you can not even try the pills for free as they list on the site. AcaiBurn are affiliated with "Insider Secrets To Weight Loss" and "Comprehensive Weight Loss E-Book Package". All fraud, all charge for trial membership. Theses sites need to be shut down!

Nothing is ever FREE! Like many complaints so far, I should have checked out this site earlier. I can not stress enough how annoying and frustrating this process is. I also ordered the Free14 Day trial and of course am being charged 59.95 for the 30 days they send to you instead. If you send back the 16 day (32 pills) than you will get the money back.. or we will see havent sent it back yet. The customer service reps are very rude and ill informed.. or so they are suppose to be. Also make sure you call all 3 numbers listed on the bill inorder to cancel everything or else you will recieve more charges. This company should not be promoted! Good luck if you have tried it, and if not do yourself a favour and don't.

Once again, another diet scam. Not only does AcaiBurn product not deliver as advertized, the manner to which they conduct their billing, verges on being criminal. I was fortunate to have read the "terms and conditions" regarding this bogus product. I was fully aware of their cancellation procedures and cancelled my order to Acaiburn, Insider Secrets to Weight loss and the bogus membership to Comprehensive Weight Loss E-book Package 12 days after I received the product. I spoke with Hazel on day twelve and advised her I wanted to cancel and she gave me the address I needed to send the unused portion to. I asked her specifiaclly if I was going to be charged the $59.95 but she seemed a bit confused. She put me on hold and when she came back on she said I would not be charged. Three days later, you guessed it, a charge for $59.95 showed up on my account. So back to the phone I went. This time I spoke with Jeanie. Just like she was trained, she kept referring me back to the "terms and conditions". Even when I told her I was specifically told by Hazel I would not be charged, she couldn't get past, "terms and conditions". Oh well, lessons learned I guess. I now have to wait for them to receive the unused portion before I will get a refund.

I have filed a complaint with my state's Attorney General regarding their bogus claims and faudulant billing practices. If you are in a similar position, I suggest you do the same. And make sure your friends and family don't get lured in by their deceptive advertising. The product is worthless. Period.

I took advantage of the company's free trial offer, and when the product arrived, I paid the €5 shipping fee
and the the price of the product was debited from my credit card. This was to be a trial offer, and I naturally thought I could cancel, if I chose to do so, but that did not turn out to be the case. My credit card account was debited on two subsequent occasions for the amounts of €46, 67, fraudulent debits by the company, for I never, in any way, requested additional products from this dishonest company. Although the debits were effected, I never received the products, which I certainly do not now, or ever, desire.

What can be done about the scam perpetrated by this company of thieves? I demand that they refund the
two completely unauthorized charges of €46, 67 they stole from me.

I am happy to share my experience on how to cancel this product. it has taken some time to work out but here goes... click on the link and go to LIVE CHAT. From here have your email and phone number available that you used when you ordered the product. Be sure to ask them to cancel the subcriptions that were automatically added to your free trial . They are called: Insider Secrects and Comprehensive weight loss ebook package. If you do not ask for these to be cancelled they will continue to debit your account monthly. You will be given 3 cancellation reference numbers to correspond to the pills and the subscriptions. From here print a copy of the page and keep it. You can also email a copy of your chat. This should stop any further deductions. If however they continue to take money, with this proof of cancellation the bank will be able to stop any further payments to them. Hope this helps you all. Here is the link http://www.acaiberryandcoloncleanse.com/acai-burn-review. good luck.

After notcing charges showing up on my bank account I called the numbers associated with those chareges to cancel to acaiburn and their associates that I did not realize that I had subscribed to. I was given confirmation numbers and assurd I would have no more charges. TOday I have the three same charges showing up again. I called the numbers and was told that I had cancelled June 25 2009 and could not tell me why I had been charged again One guy even suggested I send them my bank statement so they can review it. I completed a form for a free trial of ACAIBURN - Dietary Supplement in October of this year. Firstly a company called betterdtox Cyprus took £7.76 out of my bank account stating that USD11.90 at exch rate 1.534 on 11 October and included commission of £0.21 this I believed was for postage so I didn't mind.

I received the first container of (60 tablets) which was supposed to be a FREETRAIL, then a few weeks later I received another container of another (60 tablets) which I didn't order.

I have just received my bank statement for this month November and December 09 and noticed that there has been two amounts taken out one on the 4th November for £54.99 by a company called accesscleans Cyprus and later on in the month 11th November another amount of £53.84 was taken out by a company called wellbhealth Cyprus! These darn companies have taken £116.59 for 2 jars of tablets - disgusting! CROOKS!

Due to this I have now changed my account - please take care!

Ordered trial of this AcaiBurn on line with colon cleanse product. After the trial cancelled the colon cleanse thinking that covered both products (they made me sick). Later I get the AcaiBurn in the mail and a $118.00 charge on my credit card and all these multipal smaller charges. Naturally I called to cancel. Said they were going to send me information through the e-mail so I could return the product. Never came. Again I see more charges on my credit card. As it turns out these charges are Web access charges for their "support" center. I have had to call 4 seperate numbers and sit on hold waiting for an available operator, to get them to stop charging my card. DON'T ORDER THIS STUFF! It will take your time and money to stop it.

I have ordered a 1 month sample of acaiburn and paid only for the shipping around a month and a half ago. When I received the product I noticed that the ingredients included chromium. No where in you advertisement was this mentioned. I decided to wait and ask my doctor if it was okay to take since I am currently taking a cholesterol medicine. Last week I received a package with 3 more bottles of acaiburn. There was no shipping receipt or any other paper work along with the delivery. I did not order and would like to return the shipment however there is no information provided in the order for me to do so. Also please reverse any charges you made to my account. I do not know how much I was charged and I did not authorize any charges. Please respond to this email with a responsible contact at your company so I may provide the information you need to get this transaction reversed.
