Abstrakt Marketing Group review: Appointment setting services
Company complained about: Abstrakt Marketing Group, L.L.C. (abstraktmg.com), 701 N 1st St Ste 101, Saint Louis, MO 63102.
I am Glenn Williamson, owner of NHV Painters (New Haven Painters, LLC) in Milford, Connecticut. We contracted Abstrakt for outbound appointment setting for commercial painting. We paid $43,000 by ACH: $5,500 in June 2026 and $7,500 each month July through November 2026. All six payments cleared.
Before we committed, a May 28, 2026 sales email described covering the entire state at 144 meetings a year and locking up Connecticut. After we were on the program, a July 21 email disclosed another painting client in the Hartford–West Hartford metro. That was not what I understood from the sales communications.
Performance: about 40 distinct initial bookings. Too many were unqualified, no-shows, or not usable painting opportunities. One booking sent to our sales reps as a new lead was a pricing lunch with Ring’s End, our Benjamin Moore paint dealer. On October 13 Abstrakt agreed it would not count and said they would replace it. The same day they acknowledged results had not met expectations on consistency and quality, and declined a refund, credit, or other compensation.
Only one Abstrakt-sourced CRM win (~$4,051); deposit unpaid as of early November. I canceled in writing September 22, 2026; service ends November 30, 2026. Desired resolution: full refund of $43,000, or Abstrakt’s best written counteroffer. I have also filed a BBB complaint and Missouri AG complaint CC-[protected].
