Mani came by to do pre install measurements today and everything was assessed in detail. Care was taken by him to explain the process as well. Courteous, friendly and professional advice - much appreciated Mani!

The A-1 window installers did a very good job and we are pleased that all went well. The white window frames look good , so much better than the old brown aluminum ones. I had a few talks with the lead installer, and he answered all my questions without any problem. We would certainly recommend A-1 for your next project, whatever it may be.

Onsite - Mani, Ranjit and Ryan provided professional, timely, and quality work. We couldn't be more thrilled about our new windows and the level of customer service A1 Window's provided from the start. Robert walked us through the entire process and ensured we not only got what we needed but also what we wanted. We had an outstanding experience with A1 Windows and would highly recommend them, especially the installation crew of Mani, Ranjit, and Ryan. They installed our windows over two days and throughout it all, they were communicative, professional, and very thorough. The job they did was superb. I was surprised at how well and diligently they cleaned up too (including vacuuming the house, which I did not expect). It was a pleasure working with them.

Thank you A1 for your timely response and house-call to address our concerns for a couple of windows, especially to the team of Mani and Ranjit for your enthusiasm and open communication with us to address the minor issues. Our townhouse windows and sliding doors were replaced six years ago by A1 and have been worth the investment, are still in great condition, and have reduced our heating/cooling bills drastically over the years. Highly recommended!

We had our windows replaced by A1 Windows and had a great experience. From the first meeting with Robert, who gave us a competitive quote, continued with Harmon who was very informative in the show room and finishing with Mani and his crew who did the installation, we felt confident with their work quality. Ranjit, Mani, Jatin and Mandeep came on time, they were very efficient, friendly, clean and the installation went smoothly. I worked with Sarb at A1 for my home renovation project and it was a great experience. The service provided was absolutely stellar; multiple home visits for accurate measurements, design input for our renovation, and honest advice on what level of product to select for my house. We wanted a particularly hard to design window for a pass-thru to our sundeck, and A1 was able to modify their design to suit our needs.The installation crew came on time and completed in two days, cleaning up after themselves each day. The windows we selected reduced the noise coming into the house and increases the insulation of our building envelope. Overall a great experience and will be using them again in the future.

From start to finish, A1 Windows did an excellent job. With Robert in sales being diligent and responsive to our inquires at the beginning of the project, to Manjeet and the coordination of the installation and finally the onsite crew of Mani and his very capable cohorts Ranjit and Rayan, the work performed to install 2 new sliding doors for our home was tremendous and was a total A1 team effort! Mani's attention to detail, constant communication and transparency was greatly appreciated and the final product was exactly what we were looking for, all at a very competitive price! We felt the experience exceeded our expectations and would happily recommend or contact them again for any future projects on our home. Great job guys! :)

A-1 Window Manufacturing does not honor their quotes. We were quoted for a 2 Panel patio door with screen $2625.00 no extras (The salesperson even did a measurement in front of the owner) plus we had already had 4 patio doors replaced in our Strata Condo building over the last few years so he knew the height of our doors and width and for a 3 panel door which he also did a rough measurement in front of the owner and came back with a quote $3601.50 with no extras ( such as outside door locks and security bars) We got 11 owners signed up based on these quotes. The person who does the exact measurements came and measured all the door openings to begin manufacturing the doors and the next thing we know the quote for the 2 panel 8 feet wide came back at $4473.00 instead of $2625.00 which is $1848.00 difference or a little over 70% increase because the height of the door is 71 1/2 inches not 79 1/2 inches and the three panel 12 feet went from $3601.50 to $5365.50 which is almost 49% increase because of the shorter height. Two owners had chosen to replace there patio doors from 3 panel to 4 panel like mine which jumped from $4189.50 to $7035.00 a $2845.50 difference which equals almost 68% increase. Several owners had signed contracts at the original price and had given deposits but unfortunately the door size is incorrect on the contracts which were produced by A-1 Windows but why would owners know the sizes of their doors? Needless to say all owners cancelled their orders and are demanding refunds.

I am writing this review 1-day after our window installation, and wanted to share the wonderful experience we had with the team at A1. Like many homeowners, when we were researching into renovation windows, it was difficult to choose, as there is no shortage of window companies to choose from! We were referred to A1 by our contractor, and spoke with Robert from the sales team. Robert did a thorough walkthrough of the company and products, but also focused heavily on the service-side of the A1 experience. He did a full walkthrough of our house and was not only professional all the way through, but also recommended changes to the new window setups to improve our overall experience in the home. This included swapping out the frosted glass material in our washroom windows from what was present in our current windows in order to increase light, and also the change of orientation for the kitchen window slider to increase airflow while blinds are down. After signing with A1, post-follow up service from Su was exceptional. This lady wonderful, and she is ON IT! Extremely professional and responsive in locking down our install date and accommodating our schedule. Our only issue we experienced along the way was with the rep that came to do the final/thorough measurements of each window. He wasn't the most polite or articulate of the team, but I reached out to Robert to ensure that all nuances of our house were properly documented. Robert was quick to call me back and reassure me that everything would be ok. On the day of the install, the crew consisted of Mani, Ranjit and Mandeep. These guys work HARD. Mani and his crew were originally given 2 days to complete the job, but because he realized that we had a toddler in the family, he pushed his crew to finish in one day to minimize disruption to our household. They also ended up installing drip caps to all windows for maximum protection. During the removal of the windows, the team accidentally knicked a window frame and left black residue on another. We fully expected some wear and tear to happen during the install process, but what surprised us was how Mani handled the situation. He was sincerely apologetic for damaging the walls, and asked if we had a can of paint available. At the end of the day, he and his team touched up the walls, leaving everything good as new. On our final walk through, Mani assured us of known issues like the shrinking of caulking, and reassured us that if any of this happened, simply call them and they will come back to do touch-ups. Overall, a really great experience with the team at A1 and would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for renovation windows in their home.

properly, but I am hesitant to have them come back and make it worse again. The windows themselves seem to be good quality, but the installation and caulking job were a nightmare. I would not recommend A-1 Window Manufacturing Ltd. based on my experience.

I got 4 windows put in by A-1 Window Manufacturing Ltd. in July . They were supposed to put in 5 hinge sets on my aluminum windows, but they only put in 4 and the 5th one was the wrong size. They said they'd come back to fix it and change the glass on one of the new windows because there was dust between the glass. I paid the full bill even though they didn't finish the job because I trust them. They came back in September to finish the job, but they still didn't have the right size hinge. They changed the glass and put in a different hinge, but the window was still partially open and needed to be fixed. I've been trying to contact them since then, but no one has responded to my calls or emails. I even went to their office and spoke to Sarb, but he's been too busy to help me. He said he'd personally come to my house to look at the window, but he hasn't shown up yet. I texted him pictures of the window, but he still hasn't responded. I'm really frustrated with their lack of communication and follow-through.
