Our refrigerator went out 2 days before a holiday. I was able to make an online appointment for the following day. The technician, John, was courteous, professional, and had it fixed in about an hour. Great technician and service. Would highly recommend.

A few weeks ago I called 5 Star because my dishwasher was leaking. Their technician arrived on time, and took care of the problem quickly. He also explained what caused the problem, which we appreciated. The cost was reasonable and we have had no problems since then. I appreciate quality work so much that I had to write a review and tell everyone about a VERY positive experience.

"We called about the ice maker on our Whirlpool refrigerator frosting up. The tech named John came out and basically told us that the ice maker had a manufacturers defect that causes it to freeze up and stop working. He said that he could pay him to try and fix it but he could not guarantee it. Honesty is priceless and knowledge is power. We appreciated his honesty and quick response to our request. Thank you kind sir!"

I think 5 Star Appliance Repair is missed named. It should be 6 STARS or more.I called Tuesday morning, their technician was here by 10:30 and all repaired by 11:30. The control panel on my dishwasher had quit working. It is a pleasure dealing with a company that answers the phone in person. Actually helps as quickly as possible. We had 2 experiences with 5 Star Appliance Repair. First with dishwasher. Technician never got back to us with parts he ordered. Mike, the owner, came to check on the work. Only thing wrong was 3-second childlock. Technician no longer works there. Second experience our gas oven stopped working. John came out. Called for a new ignitor and 20 minutes later returned with part and repaired it within minutes. Very nice young man. Courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. Will always call on 5 Star Appliance Repair for repairs.

100% disabled Navy veteran completely taken advantage of by this outfit! Wife quoted $88.00 by office personnel, to go towards any repairs.No repairs done, no materials used. Tech charges exorbitant fees, admits to me personally that he never asked me or told me about any additional charges. After making numerous calls and finally speaking to Management I got 20% put back on our card! L.o.l! Best part...Dryer didn't even work for one cycle! Now I get to call someone else since I physically can't fix it! Please don't waste your time, money or frustration! You'll regret it! Frustrated wife! Frustrating life! Hope this saves you!

My dishwasher could not power on unless unplugged and re-plugged power every time. The technician checked the dishwasherand told me it was the problem of the mainboard, he gave me a part number AGM76429511, I ordered a new main board for $217 (the technician quoted it for $340) and paid $169 for the technician to replace the main board, but the same problem is not resolved, he probably knew it and said the control board may need to bereplaced too before left. I spent $386 total for the repairbut nothing has been fixed, I am very disappointedwith the service although the technicianwas a nice person. What can I do? continue to replace the parts?

Technician was supposed to be here for our refrigerator in the afternoon yesterday, didnt show, nobody called. We contacted them 3 times before we got an excuse that he couldnt be here until the next day. He came today. His quote was extremely high. We did some research with other appliance repair companies and found that the compressor was a) probably covered under warranty, and b) even if we had to pay for it, was $300 LESS THAN QUOTED PRICE. In addition, the service charge from other companies was at most, $250, where this company was $350. So an estimated $950 job would, at most, be $600. Sorry I paid the $75 for the service call, and glad I didnt rush to say do the job since the fridge is not working.

Efficient, responsive company! I called for a refrigerator repair on Memorial Day. The technician arrived in two hours and completed the repair within thirty minutes. I would use this company again!

If you need an appliance fixed, call 5 Star! Called them last Friday and they were here on Monday. I highly recommend them, they will do a great job for you! Their prices are very fair and their technician was very nice and knowledgeable!

5 Star Appliance responded quickly to my washer repair need and charged me a fair price. High quality service and a fair price is all I ask, but is so hard to find today. This is an honest company, which I will use again whenever the need arises.

5 Star Appliance is an amazing company. Their process of requesting and booking service is very efficient. I have had their service repairman Igor out for 3 appliances and he is extremely knowledgeable and good at what he does. He's repaired my refrigerator, dishwasher and dryer. Their prices are very fair and reasonable. I will call them every time, and I will highly recommend this company to anyone needing appliance repair!

after a bad experience with american home shield i called several companies to fix my subzero freezer. within 10 minutes 5 star appliance called me back and had a technician at my place within the hour - very pleasant and efficient, had the parts with him and fixed it a a reasonable price. it took several days for the other companies to return my call. guess who i"ll use next time i need help. thanks you 5 star. you deserve your 5 star rating
