So, I go to the gym after debating if I felt like it all day. Walked to my car feeling exhilarating after a good swim and what do I see as I get closer. Glass on the ground. Yes, some low life broke into my car. Went back in to the gym to ask if there had been any similar issues and was told, "Yes we have had reports over the last few months." So, I wanted to know why hadn't the incidents been announced to it's member so they are aware and cautious. They replied, "We had a sign on the door at one point, and we put a sign on pole outside. All we can do is make an incident report..." I'm not a violent person but at that point I could see myself jump across the counter on all of them looking bewildered .. A sign on a pole - we are not looking for lost dogs. Also, the side I parked on, of course, doesn't have cameras. Why? Why would you not invest in cameras on which ever side there aren't any. Just maybe the people that are breaking in know there are no cameras. Geez! Anyway, I said all of that to say, the 24 Hour Fitness on Westheimer and the beltway in Houston, TX does not care about their members safety and neglected to provide proper communication that may save its members headaches and financial loss!
