Zinio Complaints 11
Zinio is now Total CRAP
I have used Zinio for the better part of three years. Slowly but surely this site has Crept down the path of doo-doo-dumb. Their CC processor is total crapware. I don't know who manages their site but they should be fired. In the past four days, I have attempted to make purchase with FOUR different Credit Cards, and I keep getting: There was a problem with your Credit Card message. Perhaps I could understand that I put in the wrong information the First time, albeit maybe even the Second time... But when you follow the instructions word for word on a site on how to update your cc information, and you do it, then you would expect it to work right? Wrong, not with this site. Also, it used to be so easy to use Zinio, they accepted Paypal, now they don't. Anyway, I am so done with Zinio. Going to see if I can buy directly from the Magazines sites from now on or do without.
Disappointing Experience with Zinio: Poor Customer Service and Website Performance
I've been trying to get in touch with customer service for days now, but it seems like they're always busy or unavailable. It's frustrating because I paid good money for these magazines and I can't even read them.
I also noticed that the website is a bit slow and clunky. It takes forever to load and sometimes it crashes. I wish they would improve the website's performance so that I can access my magazines more easily.
Overall, I'm not too happy with my experience with Zinio. I hope they can improve their customer service and website performance in the future.
Disappointing Shipping Times from Zinio for BHG May 2020 Issue
So, I decided to give Zinio a try and ordered a back issue of BHG May 2020 in early June. It's now July 3, 2020 and I still haven't received my order. This is really frustrating and disappointing. I mean, come on, it's been over a month! I expected better customer service from Zinio. I hope they can improve their shipping times in the future.

Zinio Review: Great Way to Read Magazines Online, But Customer Service Needs Improvement
Zinio is a website that lets you read magazines online. It's a pretty cool idea, but there are some things that could be better. For example, if you have any questions about signing in or billing, you can't call them. You have to fill out a long form with your question and wait for them to get back to you. It's not the most convenient way to get help.
They do have a live chat feature, but it seems like they're always "busy" and unavailable. That's pretty frustrating when you need help right away. Overall, I think Zinio is a good idea, but they could improve their customer service. If you're willing to put up with a little bit of hassle, it's a great way to read magazines without having to leave your house.
Disappointing Customer Experience with Zinio's Magazine Reading Service
Zinio is a website that lets you read magazines online. It's supposed to be great for reading offline, but I've had trouble with that. They say to click on a pop-up, but I can never find it. It's frustrating! And when I tried to contact Customer Support, it was like they were hiding from me. I couldn't find them anywhere. It's a shame because I really wanted to like Zinio, but the poor customer experience is making me think I should try a different service.
Zinio Needs to Add Micro SD Card Option for Purchases
Zinio ain't got no option to save your purchases on a micro SD card, which is a bummer if you're running low on internal memory space on your phone or tablet. I tried reaching out to them about it, but they straight up said no. Like, come on Zinio, Pocketmags does it, so why can't you? It's a basic feature that would make life so much easier for us readers. Hopefully they'll come around and add it in the future, but until then, I guess we're stuck with what we got.
Shady Business Practices: My Experience with Zinio's Automatic Subscription Renewal
I gotta say, this Zinio company is kinda shady. They got this thing where they automatically renew your subscription without even telling you. Like, what's up with that? And if you try to call them up to cancel, they just send you to their website and tell you to click on some help link. But guess what? That link don't do jack. And if you try to chat with someone, it just says there ain't nobody available. It's like they don't even want you to cancel your subscription. I mean, come on, Zinio, give us a break. Let us cancel if we want to.
Disappointing Experience with Zinio: Magazines Not Downloading and Poor Customer Support
So, I was having some trouble with my magazines not downloading, which was a real bummer. I tried updating the apps on both my Android tablet and my Surface, and that seemed to do the trick. But then, I started having a new problem - the magazines kept freezing up and I couldn't read them offline. It's been a real headache, let me tell you.
I tried reaching out to customer support for help, but it's like they don't even exist. I couldn't get a response from anyone, no matter how many times I tried. It's really frustrating when you're paying for a service and you can't even get any help when you need it.
To make matters worse, all 5 of my subscriptions are set to expire within the next 2 months. I don't think I'll be renewing any of them, to be honest. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration. I'll be looking for a new service that actually works and has decent customer support.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with Zinio. It's a shame, because I really wanted to like it. But when you can't even read your magazines offline without them freezing up, what's the point? And when you can't get any help from customer support, it's just not worth it.
Zinio Magazine Subscription Review: A Dodgy Hassle or Worth the Trouble?
So, I was thinking about getting my buddies a 12-month subscription to Zinio for Christmas. But before I did that, I decided to test it out for myself with a Men's Health magazine. And let me tell you, it was a bit of a hassle.
First off, the website kept asking me to authenticate and pay through PayPal multiple times. I was starting to get suspicious and thought I might be getting scammed. It even sent me back to the shop and made me pay again. That was a real pain in the neck.
I was so worried that I took some drastic measures. I cleared my browsing history, locked my PayPal and credit card, and even killed my browser. I just didn't want to take any chances.
In the end, I gave up on the whole thing. It just seemed too dodgy for me. I'm going to keep an eye on my account to make sure I wasn't hacked.
Overall, I'm not too impressed with Zinio. It was just too much of a hassle for me. I might try it again in the future, but for now, I'm going to stick with my old-fashioned paper magazines.
Disappointing Experience with Zinio: Buggy Website, Lacking Customer Service, and No Refunds
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Zinio. I tried to order a magazine and ended up getting a boating magazine instead. I mean, I ain't never even looked at boating magazines before! And when I tried to get a refund, iTunes said I didn't qualify. What a bummer.
To make matters worse, Zinio's website is full of glitches. It's like they didn't even test it before they put it up. And don't even get me started on their customer service. They used to have phone support, but now all they have is a chat. And let me tell you, it ain't great. They couldn't even see the boating magazine in my cue and didn't know what to do about it.
This ain't the first time I've had issues with Zinio, either. I've had problems in the past, but they were always resolved over the phone. Now that they don't offer phone support, I don't know what to do.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Zinio to anyone. Their website is buggy, their customer service is lacking, and they don't even offer refunds when they mess up your order. Save yourself the trouble and find a different way to get your magazines.
Zinio Review: Discontinued Service and Billing Issues
I've been using Zinio for a long time now, but lately I've been having some issues with it. For the past year or so, I've been having trouble swapping out magazines. It's been a real pain, and it's made it difficult for me to keep up with my reading.
To make matters worse, I've been billed for the past four months, but I haven't received any magazines. I contacted customer service to find out what was going on, and they told me that they've actually discontinued the service. I was shocked! Why didn't they let me know?
To make matters even worse, they're still collecting money for the discontinued service. And when I asked for a refund, they told me that they couldn't give me one because it's their policy. What kind of policy is that? It's so dishonest!
Overall, I'm really disappointed with Zinio. I used to love this service, but now I'm not so sure. If they're going to discontinue a service, they should let their customers know. And if they're going to keep collecting money for a discontinued service, they should at least offer refunds to their customers.
