Purchased Zinik 18' wheels from Tire Rack and am completely dissatisfied with the both the product from Zinik and the service received from Tire Rack. Within a year of purchasing the the brand new wheels, we had to replace one wheel due to bending, and we currently have two more wheels that are also bent. After the initial wheel bent Tire Rack basically told us it was not their fault and they would sell us a new one for 30% off (this was within 4 months of purchasing the wheels brand new.) When the other wheels also started to bend we went to tire rack in person and was told again that there was nothing they were willing to do other than selling us new tires. Tire rack was initially communicating with us regarding this issue, but once we called them out on their practices they have ceased communication. NEVER purchase Zinik wheels unless you don't want to actually use them or you don't mind buying replacement wheels within the next few months. Oh the painted surface is also no good, they scratch and bubble if you actually use the wheels...STEER CLEAR!

I purchased a set of four Zinik Z18 black with machined lip 17x7.5 wheels for my 2007 Focus back in 2013. I have no issues with the look of the wheels. They look good, which is why I initially purchased them. However, I have had nothing but problems with them, due to wheel warpage, even in my light Focus. My tire guys have trouble mounting and dismounting tires from them (which is necessary if you pickup a nail or screw and need a tire repair}. They also can no longer be balanced, due to their warping. I would avoid this brand as the 'cheaper' initial purchase cost is not worth the headaches on a daily driver.

I have had Zinik rims for 6 years. i drive them in the summer months in milwaukee wisconsin. pot hole center of the universe. i have only replaced one rim and it was because i hit a pothole at 40 mph. my fault.
i have no complaints on my rims, they are beautiful and i get asked about them all the time. my suggestion is if you're driving low profiles like my Pierellis then drive cautiously unless you are on an open road. we must remember these rims werent built to be abused.

I also purchased a set of 18" zinik rossi wheels from Tire Rack. Within 3 weeks of owning these rims, three of them have severe bends in them, mind you no severe potholes were hit. The sidewall lip of the rim (where the bends are occurring) is very thin and the problem is a result of poor engineering. Tire rack as well as zinik laughed at me when i told them they sold me trash, and insisted that I can't drive.
