My first experience with zales was in jacksonville fl. It was wonderful. Phyllis, sale rep, had patience and ver kind, helping us pick out both our engagement and wedding bands, but we decided to wait until we got home to adjust our ring sizes at our local office in valdosta.
In valdosta, it took approximately 30+ mins for anyone to acknowledge or assist us. It was only two customers in the store at the time. There were two employees standing at the register laughing and talking. The manager (black guy) approaches us to help and apologize for no one helping. Bc while I was explaining to him about the rings, he yelled across the store at another customer as I was in mid sentence. I was extremely aggravated but I ignore it. He apologize but he did not hear me and ask me to repeat myself. Ahh! As I was telling him again what I need an employee walked to him whispering in his ear. Ashame! He yet again did not hear me. I did let him know that we purchase the rings jacksonville. He finally complete everything we needed and we needed help looking for diamond earring but no one helped and we left.
I eventually returned to the store with sister looking for diamond earring. We had a great sale rep chloe. As chloe was assisting me and my sister florrina walked to my sister and ask did she need help. My sister replied "no". Florrina continued by yelling behind my sister asking "why all these people have attitudes" as she was looking at my sister. I don't know is these people were talking about the color or our skin or what! I love to know the group of people she called these! Chloe apologize and thought maybe she didn't know that we had someone helping us. At this point I was fed up and reached out to the manager. He did apologize only, he did not address the situation or the employee.
If I knew customer service was this terrible I would never purchase rings from this company.
