This company is awful! I have tried repeatedly for days to get into my online account. Their system tells me that my username or password are invalid. I tried setting up a new password in accordance with their criteria and the system locks up every time. I tried calling their customer service number twice only to be on hold for almost a half hour each time with no one ever picking up. I had to hang up. They simply don't want to hear any complaints nor do they want to fix an issue.
I complained to my municipality and they said that they get the same treatment! Go figure. Lousy customer service from them includes their client's and their client's customers!
On another note, last year, Xpress Bill Pay debited an old account that I had set up to pay a relative's utility bill instead of the account that I had set up with them years ago. This caused an overdraft to occur and an NSF fee to be paid by me. I emailed Xpress Bill Pay and asked them to reimburse me for their error. They refused resulting in the Finance Director for my City to get involved. They denied her my request. The City paid the NSF fee for me yet continues to use Xpress Bill Pay. That needs to stop.
All in all, they have the WORST customer service I've run up against in a long time. I would never recommend that anyone use this company.
Recommendation: If you're a municipal customer, don't use Xpress Bill Pay. Those of us that fall under decision made by a municipality are stuck dealing with a company that puts customer service LAST on their list of things to do.
