I sent my earrings in 4Cts each stone
I sent my earrings in 4Cts each stone. Valued at $170k. They stated I was offered $8k. I refused knowing the stones are worth so much more. I have requested since May 2nd to have my earrings returned. They stated they sent them to my local *** and my *** in my town will notify me once delivered. I have called my local *** and nothing has been delivered. I have called Worthy four times and told the same thing. Though each call states they still have them. I am great full I had them examined before sending incase their are any cracks or chips. Though as of today 7/3/22 it has been 4 calls, 8 weeks and do not have my earrings. On 7/5/22 I am going to file a civil lawsuit. It is very unfortunate that this company is taking advantage of woman like myself who chose to sell her earrings to help pay for my sons education. I would never recommend this company and hope this can be resolved quickly in court

I sent Worthy two loose diamonds that were 1.35ct and 1.65ct before the covid-19 pandemic and they denied auctioning them because of the pandemic. When I recieved them back, my diamonds did not look like the ones I had sent, they looked too bright and had rainbow prisms reflecting off them and the ones I had sent did not look like that, they were like a darker looking reflecting like how a real diamon would look so I know these are not the ones I had sent. It also took them almost over a year for me to get them back so guess they had time to find a fake replacement to send me back. I would hope everyone would reconsider sending in their gems to this company because they are crooks! They will take your diamonds and deny them for auction and send you something else that isnt real and tell you that it isnt real so get your gems appraised or sold locally or some where trusting. Dont ever send your gems or jewelry anywhere because it really cant be proven so that means you would get screwed. Im kicking myself for sending mine because I wont ever see them again.

Their business executed flawlessly and with seemingly well-earned trustworthiness (I did hold my breath when I agreed to removal of the main diamond for grading) in the sale of an engagement ring which went for a seemingly quite decent $8000. I do think there is some puffery during initial discussions with the company while deciding to submit, which serves to dangle visions of loftier valuations possible than are likely, though the valuation estimate provided after grading seems conservative and the seller does solely control the reserve price. It =is= generous that there are absolutely no fees or charges if an item does not sell through their platform. I do wish more in-depth information was provided to the seller during the multi-day auction: I'd like to be able to see how many unique bidders there were (not just an indication of how many potential buyers had merely looked at the item, which is the only data shown) and seen a record of the successive bid amounts (perhaps identified by state/country) with some indication of which bidders had subsequently upped their bids.

I recently auctioned a "significant" diamond ring using Worthy
I recently auctioned a "significant" diamond ring using Worthy. Never having done anything like this before, I was naturally hesitant...mailing the ring safely, getting it certified (which was necessary) and then wondering how to go about selling it for a fair price. We were anxious about it. It was a family heirloom. We came across a review for Worthy and were very impressed. Their website is extremely easy to use and all of the outlined steps for shipping, certifying and selling, were easy and honestly, seemed too good to be true! I entered the information that I had on the ring and set up a call with Worthy. Rachel K took the call. She was amazing. She calmly answered all of our anxious questions and spent over 45 minutes on the phone with us. She encouraged us to reach out if we had ANY concerns or other questions and was always prompt to answer an email or call. Her associate Ornella B was also a tremendous help and we had no trouble connecting with either one of them. She mailed me the packing materials for the ring and kept me up to date every step of the way. The Auction was a seemless and easy experience and we sold our piece for a very nice price. They took care of every detail and I would certainly recommend Worthy to anyone who has a similar need to auction jewelry. Thank you Rachel and Ornella! You are the best! -

Very disappointed
Very disappointed. Typical online experience, they promise one thing and cannot deliver. I sent them a photo of my diamond Concord watch to sell and they said the value of it was between $2500 and $3200. I sent it to them and their gemologist review of the watch (in perfect condition) then gave me a value of $1200.00. If they had said that before, I wouldn't have sent it. The description of the watch for the online auction was very poor, nothing about the diamond quality or carat weight, just 18 carat gold. It didn't meet my reserve price, so I asked it to be sent back to me. The watch sat there for a week with nothing being done about returning it to me. I emailed 3 times with no response. In previous communications with them, they always said, "email us on anything and we will always respond". I finally called and they said, "we've been waiting to hear from you on where to deliver it to". I told her I emailed them 3 times with that information and she said, "oh, well, I don't have access to all email communication". It was finally sent back to me and the watch isn't working (it worked perfectly when I sent it). I've now emailed (again) asking them about what my recourse is if in fact the watch was damaged by them or in transit. Again, no response. Basically what I'm saying, is they're going to tell you what you want to hear in hopes of you sending your jewelry and you agreeing to sell it at whatever price. If you don't, then your concerns and their customer service go to the bottom of the paper pile.

"8/25 Hello ++++++,I apologize as my other email didn't send properly, below is the confirmation of your payment:In closing...Worthy communication is deplorable thus I elevated my concerns to ***, a "manager'' who actually FINALLY got me paid. NO ONE CALLED ME TO RECONFIRM MY BANKING INFORMATION...Had I not been persistent , organized and finally paid, this would have been elevated to a legal response. She wasn't aware nor ANYONE I spoke WITH that their website stated you get "paid in ONE day" which is a lost leader. This was a *** response. Left several messages for *** and the *** however they were busy but would call me back...Never did. I was getting the uneasy feeling this was a con job/grift thus I finally called in and demanded a manager, thus Mackenzie entered the situation. When you're dealing with valuable jewelry and $$$$$ owed, COMMUNICATION IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! All the information noted above and timelines are LITERAL texts and emails from my dealing with Worthy. My advise is SELLER BEWARE and be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS, RESOLUTE, PERSISTANT and ORGANIZED IF and when dealing with Worthy.
