Wonder Vacation Homes

I made a reservation with Wonder Vacation Homes for a vacation home from 7/25/22-7/30/22. When I booked, the disclaimer mentioned that a $500 damage fee would be charged if the rental was paid with a debit card or booked on the same day. To avoid this, I paid with a credit card. The rental agreement I received also included the same statement. However, the day after checking in, I noticed that they had placed a hold on my credit card. I contacted the booking agent to inquire about this hold. The agent informed me that I had been sent an old rental agreement. I expressed my frustration to the agent, stating that I would not have booked the reservation if I had known about the hold in advance. I also mentioned that they were misrepresenting and misleading me with this charge. I informed them that they were legally obligated to honor the agreement I was sent, as it was their responsibility to provide updated information. However, they refused to honor the agreement and did not offer a resolution to my complaint, despite it being their negligence. On Wednesday, 7/27, there was a leak in the home. My family and I checked out on 7/30/22 at 9:30am, and we received multiple messages stating that someone would be there at 10am to clean and inspect for damages. My husband and I left the house in the same condition as when we checked in. On Monday, August 1, in the afternoon, I received a message from Wonder Vacation Homes claiming that we had scratched the kitchen sink and that they would not be refunding our $500 deposit. I was extremely angry because I know for a fact that we did not damage the sink as we didn't even use it. I sent three emails requesting to speak with a manager, but I have not received a response from Wonder Vacation Homes to date. I have read several reviews about this company keeping customers' deposits for damages they did not cause. All I want is my deposit back, as there were no damages.
