WixFix is a brokerage service that "sells" Wix platform products. It contracts to a third party to do the work.
Tony called to offer Wixfix services. I told him what I needed to have links installed between sections of my website. Nothing else. He agreed.
AC called to offer Wixfix services. I told him the same thing. He sent confirmation. I sent $300.
Ivy sent an email saying that she would be my agent for the work. She did not mention that she would not do the work, I replied with the same information I gave Tony and AC.
I received an email informing me that a preliminary website was ready to view.
It was a horrible mutilation of my work. The columns stretched out the edges of the page. Section order was changed. Content was changed. Photographs were changed. Wording was changed. BUT NO LINKS.
I demanded that Wix return my site to its original condition. Four emails. Two telephone conversations. The last one with a female who had a limited ability to speak English. Finally, my site was returned to the original condition.
Ivy aid that there would be no refund but that WixFix would agree to do the work that I had asked for.
I declined.
Recommendation: Look up the legal term "Fraud in the Inducement."
