we purchased a bridal set and a grooms diamond wedding band thats still under warranty and nowhere to take them for clenings or repairs.whitehall closed down with out a word to us so where do we take our jewelry ?

The (free) lifetime diamond guarantee went away when the company closed, however and warranties that you purchased for either 2 or 3 years are still valid. There is a 1800 number in your warranty paperwork to an independant company called NEW. You just ship your jewelry straight to them and they will fix it at no cost and ship it back to you. As far as not giving notice, Whitehall placed ad's in practically every paper in the nation for a couple of months prior to closing to alert their customers.
