Whelan Security Company review: Does it really take a month to get paid??? ( 2 comments)

I'm starting to feel like Milton Waddams from Office Space here, I STILL have not been paid by Whelan Security for working the Vikings game on Dec 30th.

I've been patient, I've been accommodating, I've been understanding, but now I feel that either I'm being LIED to or this company has an incompetent payroll department.

I was told that the checks would be mailed from St Louis on the 11th, so I waited patiently and no check by the 18th. So I called them and they said they would reissue and STILL no check by last Thursday. So I called them and they said it would be direct deposited this past Friday, not there again. I called back & talked to them and they said that others with discrepancies that were experiencing the same issue, and they were looking into it. I called again Monday the 28th, and was told they'd direct deposit it today. So, i called HQ and left a voicemail. No response yet...
