Vons - Deli service employee

Date of incident: 7/19/21. This complaint has to do with a rude deli employee at your store located at 845 College Blvd, Oceanside, Ca. My husband and I went up to the deli counter to order 2 breakfast sandwiches. At the time, there were 2 female employees behind the counter. When we came up to the counter, the employee to whom I am referring said, "It's going to be a while". My husband and I waited there for a little over 5 minutes, then left. We did some other shopping and when we went to the check out, I told the cashier that one of their deli employees told us they were too busy to wait on us. She in turn told the manager, who questioned us about what happened. It turns out the employee's name was Carrie (I don't know her last name). The manager said this was unacceptable behavior, and asked us to follow her back to the deli. We did so, and when we got there, the manager began to speak to Carrie. After only a few seconds, Carrie began to argue with the manager, telling her that she just told us it would be a "few minutes". I contradicted her, telling her that that is not what she said, she in fact told us that "it would be a while", which is quite different from a few minutes. Carrie then continued to argue with the manager, saying she was busy making 8 sandwiches. She was extremely rude, and continued to be so and argue with the manager. The manager did everything she could to remedy the situation, including having another employee make us the sandwiches. My complaint is not with the manager, it is about this rude employee named Carrie who in my opinion does not belong in a customer service position of ANY kind. She obviously realized she messed up and tried to cover her tracks by lying about what she did.

I can not give any social media contact information, as I am not on social media.

Desired outcome: Carrie needs to be reprimanded and receive proper customer service training. Absent that, she needs to lose her job. Unless of course it's OK with Vons to have someone like that represent your store.

Vons - bakery

Ordered a power ranger cake for my sons 5th birthday. After picking it up, realized that they smooshed they top of the cake trying to box it up because it had a toy on top. They didn't even try to fix the ruined writing. So the night before my sons party, I had to go out and buy icing to fix the writing that I already paid someone to do. I will NEVER be ordering another cake from Vons. Every single time there is some kind of issue. I want a refund!

SUPERVISOR KAY COLLEGE BLVD STORE OCEANSIDE CA

You know I'm at this Vons store on 845 college boulevard in Oceanside California every week I'm there once or twice a week doing my grocery shopping and the one time that you know I have a backpack on and I pick up an item mind you I put the item back I go to use the restroom with no items I get harassed I get supervisor Kay her name is Kay harass me banging on the door saying I need to get out of the restroom and when I throw my bag down for her to just look through cuz she seems to think that I because I have a backpack on and a mask on everybody's a thief that wears a back pain so I told her go ahead and look find this set item that you say I still or that I took into the bathroom she refuses to and then screams that she's scared and I need to get out of the store I'm scaring her she said that I'm coming off too aggressive and that I need to go I'm scaring her well banging on the door and yelling through a door allows me to come off of grassy you can't assume that because someone has a backpack on their homeless or a thief so I gave her the option to look through my stuff and then she goes in Christ help I respectfully obliged her request and she plays a victim like seriously pathetic customer service her decision was a poor way to handle the situation not to mention very hypocritical to say that I'm coming off aggressive when she's beating and banging on the door and yelling at me through the door so to Miss Kay the supervisor at the college boulevard location I don't know why you would be scared if anything you should be scared of karma kicking someone out of a store that is in there grocery shopping for their son for their kid you going to kick me out of the store instead of handling the situation the right way you skip all procedure in the right procedures and handle the situation the right way
Once again let me reiterate just because somebody is wearing a mask and has a backpack on does not mean they're a thief if women could wear purses and wear a mask do they get the same treatment no that is harassment don't go banging on the door yelling at me through a wall not search my dang bags when I offered them to you for you to prove to me that I did what you're accusing me of and then go crying about how you are scared and I'm coming off aggressive you're yelling at me you're accusing me of something that you cannot prove even when provided my bags you still could not prove poor lack of judgment poor lack of character and poor like a respect for a customer disgraceful.
