VNYL Website will not cancel my account, they continue to charge my credit card for services I have not received

Website will not cancel my account, they continue to charge my credit card for services I have not received. I've been charged 4 times with no communication, Multiple times in a month for what is supposed to be a monthly service. I've reached out via phone and email and have only gotten this response back when I tried to get my account canceled so they would stop charging me. "Oh, we see what happened now. You haven't been selecting a monthly vibe regularly. Please note, you must log-in to your account each month to select a "vibe" so that our curators can compile a custom order tailored towards your music preferences that month... Per the terms of service you agreed to upon signup we do not offer refunds on subscriptions, even if you forgot to select your vibe. We're happy to help you receive vibe selections for each of those months you missed though. Please login now select your next. Once complete, please respond to this email letting me know. I will then open your cart again, and continue to do this until you have selected for all missed. Upon completion, please confirm your intent to cancel the subscription. Jenna The VNYL Team" There's been no communication from them to log in every month and choose my new records along with no emails saying they've charged my credit card, and even further for the 1 time they sent me product there was no shipping or tracking information. Fck these a*sholes, it's a total scam.

I signed up for this service in 2020 but after some underwhelming selection and hard to navigate website/ no real customer service I left the introductory service. Trying to give them another chance I signed up again for 3 months in December and I am repenting my decision. The Website VNYL.com does not have some important tools for a customer to provide Items not received or file claims. The conveniently leave that for phone (agents are pleasant to talk to but not real credibility in terms of trying to resolve your case. if the call disconnects its on you to call them again and hope you can talk to them) I ordered something on Dec/15 and its Jan/19 and I am yet to receive the item. After numerous emails and call, I am still trying to fend myself. I have been asked to file a missing packet claim with USPS when they as a business would not take responsibility. The tracking information does not show that USPS accepted the packet and VNYL still claims they sent the packet and want me to show proof that USPS says they have lost the packet. All in all, VNYL is a sham and they payment system seem to work well however they don't seem to actually ship anything out. At this point I am fursturated and angry that such a crony system is allowed to stay in business. Use this as a warning and don't sign up for this piece of garbage service. instead go to a local dealer or for that matter there are so many reputable vinyl stores which work hard to earn your business for life...If I had a choice I will give them 0 stars. I will be going and filing a claim with Complaintsboard.com and also will contest these charges with my credit card company instead of dealing with inept and nefarious business

I signed up for this service early 2020, I had finally gotten a record player and thought I had found a great subscription service to discover new music. I had a subscription for about 4 months and never received ANYTHING. I attempted several times to get ahold of somebody about never receiving any product but could not, so I let it go since I hadn't been charged anything besides that one time payment of $14, but right after I decided to "let it go" my card gets charged 14.99 from VNYL, which caused my account to go negative and I received a $30 overdraft fee. I tried once again to reach out to customer support only to get stereo silence still about the entire thing. It wasn't until I made an Instagram account JUST to try to hopefully get ahold of somebody from this company, and I did. This representative for this company that I spoke too was so incredibly rude and hateful to me, after I explained that I had never received anything since I signed up in April, not even an email, (I now had to unsubscribe my email to stop getting emails from them) she said that it was my fault because my account wasn't at least 90% completed, okay fair, so I went and checked and it showed 90% complete on my account so I explained that to her and I was then berated some more because I was "lying". I then, the next day was charged again but luckily my card blocked it since I was already negative from their first charge. I tried to reach out again but never heard back, which is why I am writing this review. This service is 100% a scam and they have no intention of mailing your products that you pay monthly for. I am owed 2 Vinyl records that I never received but paid for, but it was "out of their hands"

VNYL The service is really cool at first, but then it starts to turn into a bunch of bargain-bin records that even the local store won't buy off of

The service is really cool at first, but then it starts to turn into a bunch of bargain-bin records that even the local store won't buy off of you. After a few months of getting "meh" boxes, I decided that I wanted to take a break. This is when the fun begins. For one - their membership cancellation policy isn't transparent at all. They advertise that you can "take a break at any time" but you still get charged regardless of ordering or receiving your "vibes." After emailing to cancel (you cannot do this without actually speaking to somebody--which is a predatory subscription tactic) I was told that I could only be given a store credit to the tune of $117. I don't want a store credit, I want my money. But okay. No refunds. I go to use the store credit, fill up my cart with the limited options they have, go to check out and my card on file was AUTOMATICALLY charged as the payment method. There goes another $90. This time I try to call, and am sent to voicemail due to a "high volume of calls." After calling and leaving voicemails for four business days straight, I finally hear back from them. Originally, they tried to offer me MORE store credit, again saying that they don't offer refunds. After going back and forth with the guy on the phone, I got one charge refunded and am still hesitantly stuck with my original $117 store credit. Again--they have a total of, like, 6 records that you can actually purchase at any given time. Usually seems like left over pressings or that bargain bin collection. I'll be hard pressed to spend that store credit, and they don't allow you to just apply it to a few more "vibes." It would make total sense to just get a few month's worth of boxes (I was charged for four months) but instead I can only use the credit in their store. The best part? They still have all of my credit card info and I can't remove it from my profile. Seems like a lot of people have had this headache, and that's only confirmed by the fact that their Instagram is commenting limited or turned off. Save yourself the trouble and just go buy a few records at a local place. They'll appreciate the business more anyways.

VNYL I have a VNYL Gift Membership Subscription (Triple Triple 3 Months) and they have failed to send me two of the three boxes in my subscription

I have a VNYL Gift Membership Subscription (Triple Triple 3 Months) and they have failed to send me two of the three boxes in my subscription. I have a VNYL Gift Membership Subscription (Triple Triple 3 Months) and on the website, it describes this subscription exactly as follows: "Every month, our record store curators research your music tastes, member profile and Spotify (not required) to find new music that you need to hear. Up to 3 new vinyl records arrive monthly including a handwritten note explaining your selections." I signed up for a VNYL subscription in January, and my first box of 3 records arrived on February 2nd. The records were garbage and not what I would ever listen to, but that is besides the point. I put the request through for my second box on February 11th (order XXX-XXX), and it never shipped. I never received anything. The website then prompted me to put the request through for my third box, so I remained calm and went ahead and requested the third box on March 11th (order XXX-XXX). Once again, never shipped. I reached out to VNYL's customer service on March 19th and was given the runaround. On March 22nd, Don from customer service responded and said "I have reached out to our team to expedite your order since it is a bit behind schedule." That was still nine days ago, and nothing has shipped. I sent a direct message to VNYL on Instagram today, March 31st, and was told they would get back in touch with me during business hours, but they never responded. I am frustrated beyond belief by this service, and I cannot believe how much of a total mess it is on their end. At this point, if VNYL does not ship both boxes to me immediately, I want a monetary refund. I need someone to advise me and get this over with.

VNYL Was gifted a month subscription but when i went to redeem the month gifted subscription it charged me for a month of subscription and no product

Was gifted a month subscription but when i went to redeem the month gifted subscription it charged me for a month of subscription and no product yet. Can I please get some assistance on two orders? My girlfriend and I have been trying to get assistance for over a month now and we just keep getting ghosted. I initially emailed first, got a response but nothing after saying it would be looked into. My girlfriend posted a message on Facebook and she got contacted there but never again after replying to the direct message. I have attempted calling, but it keeps going to voice-mail. This is the most frustrating purchase both of us have ever made. So here is the problem. As a gift, my girlfriend gifted me one trio subscription for a month. I create a profile and enter the code that was given to me in the email for the gift by my girlfriend and it ends up charging me *** for a month of the trio subscription. So now I accidentally gifted myself another trio one month subscription. I was trying to redeem the one month trio subscription that my girlfriend gifted me but I bought a gifted trio subscription for one month for my self which was mailed to me and I have. I do not know how to use the gifted subscription my girlfriend gave me and the one I accidentally bought myself. My profile is filled out as well. I am just trying to use both those gifted subscriptions so that I have vnyl subscription for two months. But so far I have gotten nothing while as advertised i should have gotten 3 vinyls a month for two months so by the end of this month I should have 6 but I'm still at 0. She did this as a gift and its been a nightmare. Combined we have spent *** on nothing. Can we please get some help on this. We're not even trying to get a refund. I'm just waiting on the 6 vinyls we paid for. My order that I accidentally bought is ORDER #XXX-XXX and my girlfriends order is XXXXXX Thanks

VNYL They advertised two months for the price of one and then did not deliver the second month's order

They advertised two months for the price of one and then did not deliver the second month's order. April 17 I signed up for a subscription to receive 3 records per month. I also placed order #XXXXXXX for one record by itself. This order shipped via USPS on April 24th (tracking XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) and I received it on May 1st. On April 27th I emailed asking when I could expect to see my first month's subscription and on April 30th they responded: "Your order will ship approximately 3 weeks (business days, not including weekends or US holidays) after you've selected your vibe. You will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number via email once it ships. Thanks for your patience!" On May 6th I received an email from Vnyl letting me know that my first month's subscription had shipped via USPS (tracking XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX). About one week later I tracked my order and noticed the shipping label was created, but the package had still not made it to the post office. On May 12th I emailed asking what was going on, asking for them to send what I paid for. This email was ignored. I also left a voicemail around this time as well. They NEVER answered the phone or returned my voicemails. On May 14th having not heard back, I contacted my bank to dispute the *** charge and cancel my card. About one hour after the dispute was submitted Vnyl took my order to the post office to actually send it. On June 10th I emailed Vnyl: "Hey there, Just wanted to follow up since I have not gotten any word regarding my second month of my subscription! When I signed up it was supposed to be BOGO for the first two months. Please let me know when I can expect to see this ship! Thanks so much, ***" This email was ignored. On June 16th Vnyl emailed to let me know I needed to update my credit card. Because they were trying to charge me again without sending the previous month's subscription. I responded asking where my second month's order was and I was told they did not send anything because I did not choose my "vibe" for the month- however, I did this on May 19th when they emailed me asking me to choose. (I chose "curated", by the way.) I asked why they were trying to charge me without having sent the last order and have yet to receive a reply.

VNYL I was billed for 7 months in a row without receiving merchandise

I was billed for 7 months in a row without receiving merchandise. The company fails to refund me or send the product to me. I was billed each month from 6/22 - 12/22 for the amount of *** each month totaling the amount of *** billed to my credit card. I had removed my credit card info from their website in June , before their billing cycle of June 22, but the company retained my credit card and continued to process the payments without sending me any product/merchandise the subscription is for. The company failed to notify me of the months I was billed for but did not select a "vibe" for them to send me my records. Instead the company continued to bill me, take my money, and never send merchandise to me. Starting 03/16 I emailed VNYL about receiving someone else's shipment, this issue was somewhat resolved (not completely) as they sent me random merchandise I did select. After having this trouble I researched my bank account to check the billings from VNYL and found the 7 months billed without receiving any merchandise stated above. I emailed VNYL starting 04/08 to alert them of the missed months and am still currently emailing them to get this issue resolved. On 04/28 I received a response from "***" in which their resolution was for me to make an extra selection each month, for an additional 7 months, to recoup the product they owe me. In other words, they wanted me to continue my subscription service for another 7 months, pay another 7 months at *** to a company I now in no way trust, to be able to get merchandise that they owe me to begin with. I have sent 24 emails and called VNYL at *** 7 times to resolve the Issues I've had with this subscription service and I've had no full resolution to date. There is a stipulation in their terms of service that states: Cancellation You may alter or cancel your VNYL membership at any time by calling our toll free number +X-XXX-XXX-XXXX as indicated on your account page on our Site. You will not have access to your membership and any unused months of service after such cancellation. WE DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR ANY PERIODS OF TIME THAT WERE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE FOR MEMBERSHIPS AFTER HONORING YOUR CANCELATION. Which to me, states they can take someones money for missed months, then string them along for months tied up in trying to get these missed months product to the customer (and in reality maybe never getting the customer their owed product), so they can continue to get *** per month for their "subscription service" ultimately forcing a person to cancel due to the lack a resolution and forgoing their owed product/refund. This has to be illegal in some way.

VNYL Company will not cancel my membership after multiple attempts to contact them, no convenient way to cancel, deceptive advertising

Company will not cancel my membership after multiple attempts to contact them, no convenient way to cancel, deceptive advertising. I have tried emailing the customer support email address that is provided on the vnyl.org website twice asking for them to cancel my membership to their service. I have not received a response back from them and the company did not cancel my membership. Furthermore, I have attempted to speak to someone over the phone by calling the number listed on their website that you should call to change your billing information or cancel your membership. I have called at least 5 times and nobody answers the line, despite calling during the business's provided normal business hours. Additionally, the first time I contacted them on June 16, I emailed *** which was listed as the email address to contact to pause or cancel your subscription. This email is no longer listed on the vnyl.org website, probably so they can claim it does not exist when people complain that they emailed the company and received no response. Unlike most subscription services or websites, this company does not allow you to simply cancel your membership through their website and does not allow you to change your credit card information through their website. The only way to truly stop paying this company is to cancel your credit card. I have not tried this because I do not want to close my oldest credit card, as it would hurt my credit score. Lastly, the company does not make it clear how to receive the product that you are supposedly paying for. I have been charged *** a month for an entire year and have only had 1 month's worth of service where I was delivered the Vinyl Record shipment that the company advertises. When you first sign up, you provide the company with your music interests, which vinyl records you want, etc. Then you pick a group of records that you want to have shipped to you. You do not choose the records individually. You choose a group that has been curated. I do not have a problem with this. What I have a problem with is that the company makes it seem like you only have to choose this group of records one time in the beginning of your subscription and then they will automatically send more to you each month that are "curated" for you based on all of the music interests information that you provided to them. After all, why did I provide the information if they are not going to use it? That is not the case. Every month, you have to choose the group, which they call a "vibe". If you do not choose, you will not have records shipped to you. In summary, I cannot cancel my membership because I am unable to contact the company, the company does not provide an easy way to cancel via their website like almost every modern online business, and the company does not make it clear to the customer that if they do not explicitly choose a "vibe" monthly, you do not receive any records. If this company truly wanted to provide you with good customer service, they would just send you a curated set of records every month based off of the massive amount of music interest information that I provided them. My view is that this business has absolutely no problem scamming people out of their money. I will never recommend them and I think that they should be investigated. I would not be surprised one bit if this was their entire business model and they are just collecting payments each month and providing their customers with no product or value on purpose.
