Hair perm
I had my perm done Dec. 9th at your salon. I was quoted for a price of 4500, for that price I thought the service would be exceptional but I was wrong.
Salon has incomplete accessories. No Ear cover, this is very basic in a salon and yet I dont have it on my ear, chemical lotion even got dropped on both my ears. No visor to protect my eyes from droppings, my eyes is teary throughout the process. The smell of the perm lotion is awful and rancid, had breathing issues when I got home.
Also, my hair was detangled with a pin tail comb. Note that my perm has been completed already, and this is when they are applying the treatment cream, my hair roots and head crown are brittled and no locks.
Also, I was not informed of the additional amount. It was only 4500 quoted price after that it went up to 7100, the receipt has no breakdown of what particular service it's for. Feels like I got ripped off.
Also, there's no diffuser. I went out of the salon halfwet hair, it was blow dried. There is a small amount of cream placed on my hair, but when my hair dried up its so frizzy.
If your salon or your stylist has no expertise with curlies just say it upfront to customers, such a wasted money.. Not happy with the service.
Desired outcome: Refix the frizz and locks on other branch. Please advised of the chemical brand being used as it caused me breathing issues and teary eyes.

Hair and make up
I scheduled a hair and makeup appointment. I inquired about the normal hair and make-up, which costs 2500. I was, however, charged 4000. When I asked to why I was being charged 4000, the cashier explained that it was 3500 for an Upstyle Hair and Makeup and 500 for the false lashes. As I indicated upfront, I brought my own falsies. They did, however, continue to used their own. Then there was my hair. I explained that I only wanted my hair down and curled. However, they advised that it is better an updos and they didn't say anything about a surcharge for all those stuffs. The staffs were all courteous, although it would be BETTER if they disclosed any hidden prices.
Desired outcome: A refund for the extra charge and I hope they will disclose additional charge to the customers/client and wait if the client agrees to it
Traditional Perm
Hi. Today, July 2, 2022, I accompanied my son at your salon, Vivere at Trinoma around 3:30 pm to have his hair permed for his graduation. the hair went well but I noticed that the nape of my son got burnt and had blisters. I am so bothered about it. I asked what happened. They said it's the treatment. Why did it happen? we chose to go to a nice salon such as Vivere and that happened. It was so disappointing. I demand for the treatment of the damage made by your products to my son. I hope that this problem will be resolved the soonest.
Desired outcome: I demand to treat the damaged skin of my son. It is so awful.
keratin treatment
I had my treatment March 19, 2017 by the Stylist Francis. I just came back to Philippines for short visit informed the Stylist I need some treatment for my hair since I’m going out the country very soon again. I let him decide whatever it needed for my hair because I do believe that stylist knows better than me and I paid like PHP 7000. But to my disappointment it went so bad. I don’t want to run anything about it I just don’t want any people to experience what happened to me.
Hair Coloring Services
Today I decided to try Vivere Salon just for a hair makeover. I am an avid fan of Korean salons and trying out a non-Korean salon will be my first time. I went to Lucky Chinatown Mall branch and availed of the haircut and hair coloring services. Since the only available stylist was the Senior hairstylist, I decided to let him do my hair. He let me choose a sample color and I chose something called “Copper Brownâ€. To my dismay the color did not come out the way I imagined it. It is as if I did not have my hair colored. And what’s worse, they charged me 3, 350 for all the services I availed of- 2, 800 for hair coloring and 550 for the haircut. I am very disappointed at the services offered to me. I regret trying Vivere Salon for the first time. And I am sure that I will never go back to any of the branches because I felt that what I paid for did not match the services offered to me. I felt that I was shortchanged by a lot. Please do try to improve your services so that first-timer customers like me will at least think of going back.
Failed Service / Rude Stylist
SM Megamall, December 10, 2015. Boyfie and I decided to have my hair color done here. Senior stylist Lyndon was the one assigned to us and gave the quotation, since we're always after for a good quality service, we didn't really cared much about the price (P5, 100.00) We made it SUPER CLEAR that we just wanted to make the colour darker and more likely looking natural. We also pointed more than twice that we don't want to see any orange tone on it. The color he used was Ash Brown, and since we wanted to put a touch of a little style and fashion, we wanted him to use a 2 tone lighter color as highlights on my hair. I kept on reminding him about the shade he will be using, but he ended up using BLEACH! Even his assistant agreed with me when I said that was not the color I wanted after he blow dried my hair. So he called Lyndon to forward my concern. He (Lyndon) kept on pushing that I was the one who wanted my hair to be colored like this, instead of apologizing coz it's very clear that his job was a failure. Turned out to be lighter than my hair colour before i came in to their salon! He was very rude, my boyfriend knew it was time to go coz he is being pointless. I had no time to come back to their salon yet to get this "repaired" but I really want to coz it seems like we threw out money for nothing! (Check the photos) I just hope the Management would pay attention on this matter.
NOTE: Re photos posted.
It was the before and after result.

Unauthorize Charges
I just want to inform the admin of Vivere Salon to check on their staffs located at SM North Annex. Initialy we agreed for a rebond and cellophane that cost Php3600. They let me chose a color of a loreal Brand knowing its a part of the deal. When the rebond and cellophane was done, I was so shocked that the cashier is charging me Php6K +.. I am wondering why this people did not even discussed to me the additional cost of the products they applied to my hair. It is simply a marketing strategy that made me feel that I was fooled. They Senior Stylist name is Tom and I dont want to mention his Juniour because he was just doing what is instructed. My hair was done in good condition but this guy fooled me with the cost of service. In the end I paid Php4.5k still higher than what was agreed. I am really disappointed and I will continue to post this to my wall and to any blogsites until your admin will do something about what happened. I demand for an explanation of for this and I demand for the refund of the excess amount that I paid.
Vivere salon already settled my concern. Thanks for your immediate response to my case. :)
Stylist Attitude
I would like to file a formal complaint against Vivere Salon SM Megamall Branch, specifically stylist named Edward. We had an incident last Sunday, May 30. My brother went to their salon to have a simple haircut, but he was given a treatment without informing him that they will charge him extra. A bill of Php 300 went up to Php1500.
My brother and I already got the refund we asked for, with the help of SM Megamall management. But what I want to stress here is the attitude of this stylist. He was very rude and impolite to consumers like us. He was the one who did us wrong and yet he even has the right to be arrogant.
Another thing, the acting manager who went to the SM office to talk to us said that she can't give any refund at first since the transaction was paid using a debit card. Working for a credit card company, of course I knew that she was lying. So I told her she can just void it, which they did.
The bottom line here is, I want Vivere Salon to know that they are hiring people who are not fit to be in a customer service type of business. I know this is a sales strategy, to offer different treatments aside from the haircut that you originally wanted, but should a strategy include being dishonest and lying to customers? Should the stylist be rude and arrogant to their customers?
FYI, that stylist and manager did not even apologize to us.
This is a call for action from the Vivere Salon Management
or worse, suspension or even termination of these ruthless employees
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Had the same experience with Vivere Saloon in Megamall. At first they quoted basic charges then after i was charged ₱10, 000 i was so surprised my bad i didnt complain just realized with this site that this salon is not worth it, they are crooks. Im just wondering with all this complaint why is the Vivere Salon management not doing anything about it? So much for that im never going back, the truth is i dont mind paying premium for salon services but to be tricked or lied to is different thanks to this site
I went to that salon last 28 February, I told the stylist ( semi kalbo sya, not so friendly, wears ripped jeans) that I want my haircut medium cut! He was not listening! He went on what he wants for my hair, I told him that I needed my hair to me on ponytail still because my work requires it.
He is also busy going around! AS IF MINADALI ANG GUPIT KO!
I REALLY HATE IT!
So UNPROFESSIONAL!
I was planning to go at nearest vivere salon. But reading this complaints, fu**e I don't wanna ruin my day...
Thanks guys! :)
I just moved here in Manila and will stay here for a year. I've been reading blogs and other review sites because these sites are helpful especially if you want to know which salon is the best when it comes to services. I was about to try Vivere at SM Megamall good thing I've read your feedback. In Davao City, it is not difficult to find a trustworthy salon like Hairzone where I am a frequent customer. I always have my hair cut, color and rebond done there in a reasonable price. They use authentic hair products, too. When I arrived here in Manila, I find it difficult to decide where to go to since I've read a lot of complaints. I think I'll just try Bench Fix or David's... they may be a bit pricy as long as I won't have any regrets then that would be fine. How about Pal's Salon (they are cheaper)? Any comments?
I would like to commend my stylist Oliver and the Jr. Stylist Leo. They did a good job on treating me like a VIP. Oliver knows what color of hair and the style that would suit me. However just like any other salon, they are sales oriented, they offer so many hair products, but they are not so pushy so it's up to you if you will fall for their "salestalk". My advise to everyone who goes to salon make sure you know what they are putting in your hair so you would not be surprise in your bill, always ask the price of the service before going inside the salon :)
Good thing that never happened to me, coz whenever they offer the treatment, they say howmuch it wud cost; however, what irks me is they keep hounding me to get the treatment... I always leave their salon satisfied with my haircut, but the constant shoving of their "promotion" is so irritating that sonetimes dread to go to them. Vivere salon, u shud look into this coz u r in danger of losing customers.
Look folks, the bottom line is the high cost of the salon. If the stylists were fully trained in all facets of colouring such as colour matching, I would gladly pay the price. There is nothing more annoying than being given a colour chart and then being asked to pick a colour! For goodness sake, that's the stylist's job not the client's. Techniques are dated such as bonding which went out of fashion years ago. The stylists have no concept of how to blend underlights with highlights. They rarely carry a full range of shades from the chart. One last but really irritating habit salons have here is LOUD music. When I go in to have my hair done I want soothing music and NO singing from the stylist doing my hair. Got it!
I have been a customer for about 7 years now. I normally do rebond, haircut and hair dye in one sitting which costs me 7k, and now that i do keratin, i pay about 8-9k. I recently had my hair done, and turned out to be a disaster. I sent them a photo of my hair immediately after i washed my hair ( did not wash hair for 3 days). I was promised to have my hair fixed but 2 weeks have passed, nothing was done. I am due to leave soon since i am not based here. My hair stylist is nice, trying to pacify me but what i need is the management to do something with my hair.
i am an foreign resident in the Philippines. I have just about given up on getting a decent colour and style here. In Australia stylists are required to train for 4 years before they can call themselves professionals. Here they just seem to give the basic training and let them loose on the poor customers! This brings me to Vivere salon in Marquee Mall. I had my hair coloured there recently along with a hair treatment. It cost me 8k! I had to show them how to do a a two tone colour and how to use a flat iron on short curly hair. The online prices do not match those of the salon (false advertising) which really pissed me off! Won't be going back there and will let others know the same.
