Vinted Item arrived broken/not packaged properly

I ordered a Glow recipe facial tonic. I paid for the item to be delivered to my house. The delivery company, Seur didn't even attempt to deliver the parcel as I was home all day. They dropped it off at a pick up point. I was unable to pick the parcel up in the two days specified as I was unwell. The parcel hadn't been packaged properly and was smashed. Vinted won't give me a refund and neither will the seller.

Claimed loss: 35€

Vinted Service

Selling, They ask for your details,if you have interest in the things your selling. if you haven't got over £272 in your account you can't sell? So why advertise its free. But still check accounts? People are selling because we need extra money. Who has £272.in their account these days because I don't and I work full time single mum. So essentially selling for extra cash aboustley for food gas and electric yet you can't sell unless you dont have the money in your account. So what are you trying to do take a pound from every purchase? No wonder your a millionaire as the buyer wouldn't get on to

Vinted Vinted' buyer protection and automated fund release

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern with the way Vinted's automated system handled a recent dispute between me, and a seller on the platform. I have always valued the ease of use and the buyer protection provided by Vinted, but my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated.

I made a purchase on Vinted from a seller named star2twentytwo. The items I received were not only different from the description provided in the listing but also stained and faulty, rendering it unsuitable for use. Immediately, I initiated a return request, as I had every right to do under Vinted's buyer protection policy. I documented the condition of the item and submitted the necessary evidence to support my claim.

The seller was uncooperative and unresponsive throughout the return process. In spite of the compelling evidence of the item's condition and my repeated attempts to contact the seller, they failed to address the issue. This led to an escalation of my case within the system. It was my expectation that Vinted's buyer protection would work in my favor, as it is designed to ensure a safe and fair buying experience.

However, to my astonishment, Vinted's automated system released the funds to the seller before a fair resolution could be reached. This not only contradicts the very essence of buyer protection but also left me feeling that the system is biased and favors sellers over buyers. I am deeply concerned that Vinted's automated responses are undermining the trust and confidence buyers like me have in the platform.

The buyer protection policy is meant to protect customers from unscrupulous sellers, but in my case, it appears to have failed miserably. The automated release of funds without a thorough investigation and fair judgment puts the interests of sellers above buyers. This leaves customers like me feeling vulnerable, exploited, and unsupported.

I am writing to urge Vinted to reevaluate its automated system, ensuring it maintains the fairness, security, and trust that buyers rely on when shopping on your platform. I request a full review of my case and a prompt resolution that respects the principles of fairness and equity that Vinted claims to uphold. I also ask for a more robust and transparent dispute resolution process that provides better protection for buyers in the future.

I trust that Vinted values its customers and is committed to maintaining a fair and transparent marketplace. I look forward to a swift and satisfactory resolution to this matter. If my concerns remain unaddressed, I will have no choice but to reconsider my continued use of Vinted as a reliable platform for online shopping.

Vinted Blazer pata de gallo (tracking number: [protected]) shame on vinted customer service

Dear sir madam,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide you with an update on a complaint I previously filed against Vinted for their unacceptable handling of a recent purchase.

On October 4th, I purchased a "Blazer pata de gallo" from Vinted, which was advertised as "new without tag." Unfortunately, upon receiving the item, I discovered it to be an older product, falling into the "good" category, and it even had noticeable stains. Immediately after receiving the item, I promptly provided comprehensive evidence of the discrepancies to Vinted's customer service team.

Regrettably, the response I received from Vinted's customer service left me feeling deceived and disheartened. Their representative erroneously claimed that I had not clicked the "I have a problem" button, which is entirely untrue. I can confirm that I lodged my complaint within the stipulated 48-hour window, as evidenced by my email correspondence.

This behavior is deeply disappointing and reflects a serious breach of trust. It is distressing to witness a company of Vinted's stature engaging in such unethical practices, displaying a lack of respect and care for their customers.

I am resolute in my decision to return the blazer, as it is not an item I will wear, and I refuse to accept a product that was so clearly misrepresented. I am formally requesting a complete refund for this transaction. Failure to comply will leave me with no choice but to pursue legal action against Vinted for their fraudulent and negligent conduct.

I would like to reiterate that my resolve is not solely driven by financial concerns, but rather by the principle of receiving a product that does not align with its advertised condition. I implore you to consider the mental distress and frustration this situation has caused me.

I have given Vinted a 24-hour ultimatum to provide a resolution. Unfortunately, to date, I have not received any satisfactory response or action from them. This lack of response only reinforces my belief in the urgency and gravity of this matter.

I trust that your platform takes customer concerns seriously and will use this information to ensure that your users are aware of the practices employed by Vinted. I remain hopeful that you will continue to uphold the highest standards of customer satisfaction and protection.

Vinted Wrong item received

I ordered a new pink jumper on Vinted and I selected InPost as delivery method. A few days later I received a food warmer instead of the jumper. I called InPost straightaway, I was still in front of the locker and they asked me to open a case with Vinted soI did.

I provided pictures of the item received and they said they would have investigated with the courier.

Vinted Support just came back to me saying that the courier confirmed the correct item was delivered and therefore the case is solved. The seller has been paid and I have ended up with a food warmer for babies!

I feel angry and upset, I provided proof of the delivery received, included the box and the sticker on it which shows clearly that the wrong item was delivered.

How do they know that the seller sent the correct item?

Desired outcome: I would like an apology and I would like to be refunded because it is fair. Thank you

Vinted Refund not given for lost parcel

I sold trousers on Vinted 19/09/23

The buyer said they never arrived even though the tracking said they were delivered 21/09/23 at 18:39

I contacted Vinted for a refund and they told me I did not use the correct postage supplied by Vinted

I told them I had and the buyer confirmed when I sent the proof of postage to her to say her parcel was on its way with Evri

I told Vinted how would I know her address if I’d not used the label sent to me from Vinted and why would I use a different carrier and pay for the postage myself, it makes no sense when the buyer had paid for postage

I have contacted Vinted but receive automated responses saying I used the wrong carrier but I did not

Please can you help

Vinted Not refunded for lost item

I bought Paw Patrol Crocs charms on August 30th and opted for Yodel Collection at store. The seller posted the item the next day and on September 5th I got a message saying that my parcel was ready for collection and would be kept for 10 days before being returned to the seller. I was abroad and could only go on September 14th to the store, where they didn't find the parcel even tough it appeared in the tracking as if it was there, and suggested I contact Yodel, which I did immediately and the next day they informed me that the parcel was not at the store and was lost and that I should contact Vinted.

On September 26th I received a message from Vinted saying that the carrier had confirmed that the parcel was delivered so they released the money to the seller. I explained that this was not true as the parcel wasn't in the store to be collected and it was lost. However they told me that was their final decision and nothing they could do about it.

I contacted today October 2nd Yodel again and they informed me that on September 19th, after Vinted submitted the enquire about my parcel in their investigation, Yodel informed Vinted that the parcel was lost and they should claim according to the insurance policy.

How is it possible that Vinted received the information that the parcel was lost, and I still got charged knowing that I never received the item? How easily they can say the carrier has confirmed it was delivered, and not showing proof of that? I have tried today to explain to Vinted support and received the same ridiculous answer of "we have to follow the procedures" and "this is our final decision". I am left without the money, without the item and nobody is responsible. They would not show me the mentioned "confirmation" from Yodel saying the parcel was delivered, which is completely different from what I was informed today again (that the parcel was lost)

I feel helpless and this is scary, if they can easily charge you even if the carrier loses the parcel. Unfortunately Yodel would not give me written direct information as they say they have to respond to Vinted and not individual buyers or sellers, so I have no way of confronting Vinted about the status of my parcel.

Vinted Vinted customer support

I sold an item on vinted and posted it, unfortunately it was on the last day available to post and despite posting successfully the status of the sale was updated to 'Cancelled'. I contacted Vinted with proof of postage but they said they wouldn't help as I needed the original buyer to buy it again. The item has been dispatched and I have proof of postage, correct address and the courier company has acknowledged receipt of the item but Vinted have said they won't help or revert the status of the sale back to completed.

Desired outcome: I want thw sale reinstated so I can get the money I sold the item for on successful delivery

Vinted Sold fake item

Seller on vinted sold my son fake item.

I raised it with the seller and they wouldn't refund. I raised with Vinted and they have refused to do anything as past 48hrs.

I have asked for a refund of the item and the seller to be removed from the platform but Vinted refused.

Basically vinted are allowing fake goods to be sold and not doing anything about it.

Desired outcome: Refund of moneySeller removed from the platform.

Vinted Customer service

I have been blocked from vinted becasue I mistakenly listed some sneaker keyrings which were Nike but not authenticate, I am new to vinted and I made a mistake on the listing which has caused me to be blocked forever!

This is so harse, your customer service team have been discussing,rude and now are choosing to ignore me becasue they have made there choice. It was not intentional it was a mistake. I am a 53 year old mum of 3 just trying to make a few extra pennies.

I have told customer service I will no longer list items for sale if you can unblock my account and just let me buy items so I can save money and buy clothes for my children.

I have been an eBay user for 30 years and I have never ever been treated like this, they take the item down and that's that. You've take. the item down and blocked me.

It's so harsh, disrespectful to me as I'm being treated like a criminal.

Your customer service team don't know me, but they have judged me unfairly.

I was sceptical about joining vinted with all the bad reviews, but it seems your customer service team is where the problem lies.

I want someone to look into this and give a fairness to it, you have now cost me in a living crisis that is not acceptable.

Desired outcome: To be unblocked so I can at least buy from vinted. I have no intention of selling ever again.My user name was pinkypaws123

Vinted Sale of my Handbag

Hi,

After numerous attempts to resolve this ridiculous issue with Vinted I’m still not further & keep getting irrelevant answers to my issues. U sold a bag (which was a100% authentic) after the customer (Raemama) purchased it for a bargain of £70 I sent it that say to her. On receiving the bag she then claimed it wasn’t real even though it was a gift & had tags on it still, Vinted refunded her straight away without even asking me if she was telling the truth 🤬 this was in June 2023. Upto today (19th September 2023) & numerous promises from her since end of July start of august promising to return the bag she hasn’t so technically this is theft & Vinted don’t care about the fact I haven’t received my bag (which is still legally mine as they gave her money back) nor bothered to reclaim my money off her as she has no intention on returning it.

Desired outcome: Bag returned asap (but gave her months now) or £70 refunded back to me asap

Vinted Product mis sized

I bought children's jazz shoes listed as size 12. They say size 12 on them but are not size 12 based on any other actual size 12 shoe. I sent photos evidencing this but my money was still released to the seller. I now have shoes that my child cant wear but have paid out for these. I used vinted as can't afford new jazz shoes and now further out of pocket. This is appalling.

Vinted The company holds my earnings

To whom it may concern,

Hi. I started to use the vinted app which is an online marketing place on December 2022. At first few months it was fine, but about March 2023, they asked my ID or passport for identification verification. So I sent them my ID, Address proof and bank statement. But they began to hold a part of my earnings about £140,

Till then it's 5 months that I could sell nor buy through this app, and they are holding my money. I have sent them requests for resolving the issue via email, text messages. But it didn't work.

I really like to continue my activities there.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Vinted Full refund

I am writing in respect an item I ordered on Vinted - a watch.

Let me take you through what's happened.

1) within a day of my order I got a message through the app that there was a problem with my delivery and the item was being sent back to the seller
2) I contacted the seller who confirmed he had received it back
3) I had a chat dialogue with one of the Vinted mupper support agents (which is no longer in my Vinted inbox as they have conveniently deleted it) confirming that I needed to click 'resolve issue' and afterwards 'select refund'
4) I clicked 'resolve issue' which then presented me with a message saying that this would release the funds and was not reversible
5) before doing this I checked back in with the muppet agent in step 3) who said this was normal and to carry on click 'resolve issue'
6) I did I was advised only to have the next screen indeed tell me that the funds had been released
7) Vinted now tell me there's nothing they can do - as if all of this data is not on their platform!

Honestly anyone with half a brain cell can work this out - I never got the item, I don't know if a courier problem or a scam or whatever - yet I have paid over £500 and Vinted themselves confirmed I never received it!
Pretty sure the seller was a scammer and 100% sure Vinted supports scammers in their site... They should be shut down

Vinted Purchasing a Tracksuit off Vinted

I ordered a blue syna world tracksuit costing £162.18 including buyer protection fee and delivery i ordered this on the 24th of august 2023 as I’ve checked on my ring doorbell it arrived at 13:43pm on the 31st of august 2023 once I opened the packaging I realised it was not my tracksuit it was a pair of 13/14yr old adidas joggers which is not what I ordered at all

Vinted I am complaining about sellers sending damaged faulty unhygienic and a stolen apple watch that my 8 year old son can’t use

Vinted have sided with scam sellers too many times now! I have bought many items in the past 6 months sometimes 6/8 in a row and I have now lost my money on atleast 10 items as sellers have sent ripped clothes or the wrong size even clothes that are in such awful condition they are fit for nothing but the bin! Also a stolen Apple Watch that can’t be used as it’s linked to Somone else and seller can’t unlink as it’s STOLEN! Vinted Even allowed a seller to sell a moisturiser that is sold as new but is a crusty bottle of used cream none in it hardly in! Enough is enough I will be taking them to court as that’s £200+ that’s gone down the drain! Also my time and energy and being abused by the seller and bad reviews when you bought the stolen and ripped item ha! BACKWARDS is what vinted should be called And vinted allow scammers and support them! Well looking on here not for long but still long enough! Unbelievable

Desired outcome: I want my £200+ back and account deleted and scammers to be held accountable and buyers should never have to pay to send back missold items

Vinted Message to say item returned to sender

Bought trainers via vinted with delivery to those ‘yellow pick up’ boxes outside our local shop to avoid issues of me not being in on delivery. Had a message tonight saying item returned to sender? Not sure why the courier couldn’t deliver to the box? I’m now without trainers or the cash as now have to wait for sender to get her parcel back……if that ever happens……. Or was it all a scam……. I’m none the wiser yet
