This is a great company to rent from. I couldn't imagine everything from the showing to us moving in any easier than what it was. They are proffesional and really help from repairs to problems i love my complex...

It is a good apartment. The management could be more on top of the job. I moved in [protected]. At that time I was given the keys. Except the mail box key. I was told it was lost but I'd have one by the following Monday. It is now March 3rd. I still don't have a key. I have had to put a hold on my mail the leasing agent had me go to the post office myself to get a replacement key. Took off work to do that, Only to be told that the property is privately owned so the manager has to get a key. And now I can't get her to respond when I check to see if she finally got the key. Going on 2 weeks with no access to my mail...not happy, very frustrating. There are lots of residents with large dogs there. I have found that they don't clean up after them. Apparently there is no policy for cleanliness around the apartments. People are leaving full trash bags and dirty diapers outside their apartment , right in the walkway. This is definitely a one lease move. I'm already looking for a new place to go when this lease is up.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I stayed at *** Apartments for almost 2 years before it was bought by valley income. Nothing but problems from that point on! We had a very childish/immature property manager that was never on site, talked crazy to everyone and never kept his word. I had to drive a few minutes to another property and hope and pray he was there just to pay rent (nothing was communicated about the transition in management and it was just one disaster after another). Finally about 2 months of being without old management, our laundry room was over run with the homeless and trashed, pool was always dirty, and vagrants moved right on into an empty apartment 2 doors down from my family and I and you guessed it, management could not do anything! We asked for HOA and new owner contact information from the new property manager but he would never give it to us! The only communication from valley income came in the form of a paper being passed door to door within that 2nd month of the transition about the new property managers along with their cell numbers and email address (Eboni and Ben...the childish one). The next 4-5 months got even worse. Maintenance slowed down, laundry room was closed for good, property was always dirty, a building roach problem, and even though the property manager moved into an apartment on site, almost all of the original tenants either moved or banned together for change. A month before my family moved we realized why everything slowed down and why management was not working with the original tenants...they wanted to start renovations. After weeks and weeks of power on and off, water on and off, and rude workers and management, I could no longer stay! I worked from home and could not continue my job with the ongoing conditions, noise, and on and off power. Ben told us that he would get approval to move us into a renovated unit away from the noise with a lesser rent amount (after renovations rent went up almost 500 dollars). We waited and tried contacting him for almost a month with no resolve, so we just moved. We were willing to work with them, to give a second chance, to wipe the slate clean and start anew but after a month of basically ignoring us, we just moved out...broken lease and all. We left in the middle of November believing that we would have a bill (rent for that month taken out of the deposit plus any repairs because we did clean and empty the apartment out) but we were never contacted. No email or anything with a final bill and we told Ben (the property manager that stayed onsite) that we were moving so we were a little baffled but happy to be away from it all. The beginning of a new year brought an unexpected turn...an email from valley income! They wanted to know how my experience was during my stay at Cornel, kind of an exit survey. I definitely gave my feedback and went on about life without valley income. I would have never written a long and disgusting review like this if their company was truthful, honest, and cared about customer service but what came next blew my mind. Checking my credit report this Christmas season, I noticed I was evicted from *** Apartments on 11/29 well after I already moved out and all. I contacted Tami L at valley income to try to get down to the bottom of things, pay what was owed and clear up this whole eviction situation. WRONG! Tami was no help, basically told me everything I said was a lie, even though I had screenshots of texts and emails. How can I be evicted from a place I already vacated? How can I be judged by any court but never received any paperwork or summon? Please rethink doing business with them and if you are already in business with them please document everything and keep track of all communications...shady business people!
