USA Photo House charged me via Verizon for 5 months about 15 dollars a month starting in September 2010 for alleged pictures which I allegedly ordered.
Verizon added this amount to my monthly land line bill.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
In checking over my mother's billing, because I found her Verizon bill to be ridiculously high for basic phone services that are never used I also found PhotoCubbie charges going back over a year! This was never ordered and the landline phone it is being charged to is hooked up to a fax machine that is NEVER used. The only reason I found the billing is because I went online to see if I could drop that line from her account and lo and behold found this scam. This is Verizon's mess to clean up because they have to be doing it through their billing department giving customer information to other companies as no one ever called or communicated in anyway an offer for this service and surely not for a fax line. I have a feeling this is another one of those scams that they target mostly the elderly because they don't keep up with these kinds of things when they have so many more important issues going on like their health. I am so angry! The ripping off of people is getting worse every day.
I just found this charge on my bill, too. $14.95 from Photo Cubbie. I called the 800 number on my verizon bill next to the charge and it connected me with USA Photo House. They issued a refund for the past 3 months but said that I had to contact support by email to obtain a refund for the previous 4 months. I did not sign up for this service but I have a suspicion that it may have been connected with the Verizon gift card that was given to me when I signed up for Verizon Fios. ? IMO, this Photo House charge for Photo Cubbie is a scam!
Hmm this is happening too my mother who also only has a lan line for faxing serice for $14.95 per month since 11/10. I do have a complaint also on this site. Good Light
