Journeys

It's a shame that my son applied for a job position at the local Journeys, he interviewed for the position, he was given the job and the incompetent hiring manager/supervisor neglected in following up as she stated. My son has been waiting for the opportunity to work since we relocated to this area. Morgantown West Virginia is small and had no real good jobs in the area so he was banking on at least obtaining this part time work while he finished school. The hiring manager/supervisor was unprofessional 100% in keeping him waiting for a job she probably had no intentions in giving him. I'd be wrong if used the race card huh? I'm sure she hasn't treated anyone of Caucasian decent this way, so what was the issue? It's only fair for me to assume that my son's hue was an issue! If he wasn't a good "fit" or candidate for the position, then why not be upfront and say so. This is unprofessional, inconsiderate and just plain negligent to not conduct herself better during the job application process.
