On October 10, 2023 I stopped at Culver's on my way home to get some food. I was going to go through the drive through however the line of cars was extremely long so decided to go in and order my food. I stood in line for a long time it seemed as only one person was taking orders and other employees taking out orders to cars or some were just walking around. When I ordered, rather than taking it out, I decided to eat in.
Apparently there must have been a fundraising going on for a school. I sat in an area that was not full of many people, however the main dining area seemed rather busy. As I was waiting for my food, children were running up and down the aisles playing tag or hiding under some tables playing hide and seek. There was no parental control over these children as the parents were either doing something on their cell phones or just talking and visiting with other parents.
As I got up to leave, a child almost ran into me and had that happened, would have dropped my tray and losing my balance. An older couple walked in and a child was running through the area where one would place an order and almost ran into them also.
I just think that the manager should have better control over situations like this, but I am sure you don't want to lose customers or hurt anyone's feelings. Perhaps a sign should be posted saying to running in dining area allowed. It could be done without hurting anyone's feelings.
It was extremely loud in there that night and whenever a fund raiser is going on, will decide to take my food out. I worry if someone gets hurt or "run down" that there might be a law suite filed. Just wanted you to know.
When I take my grandchildren out, they are not allowed to run in a restaurant but to sit and eat. There is no play area in your restaurants for kids to play such as some McDonald's.
Thank you. Hope this problem will be rectified.
Sincerely,
