At approximately 2-2:10pm on January 3, 2022 I visited the AMPM store in Woodland, WA. I intended to purchase $5 in gasoline in cash, the cashier did a double take when I presented a $2 bill. She consulted with another worker who said if she didn't want to accept the bill she didn't have to where upon the cashier remarked - loudly enough that I clearly heard "yeah I don't trust his kind" and then proceeded to refuse my tender.
This is incredibly inappropriate and offensive to a would be customer, to remark on "my kind".
Desired outcome: Disciplinary action for the cashier as well as bias and cultural sensitivity training.
