Wednesday August 14th 2019, my son and I visited the Burger King for lunch at 11:07 am. issues:
1. gentleman at counter slow and uninformed as how to take an order (unfamiliar with monitor and buttons)
2. A total of only 4 employees working, one on drive thru, one on counter, and two cooking. Would not normally be an issue, but it was coming on to the lunch hour and the drive thru was backed up.
3. orders took minimum of ten minutes to be ready. one gentleman who had been waiting since we arrived was still waiting for his one burger for over 10 minutes.
4. order was not correct as I had ordered and paid for a double whopper with no tomato, but received a single whopper with tomato and no mayo (dry as a bone).
5. ice machine was reported to not have been in working order, had to get drive thru employee to get ice from drive thru side.
6. no ranch. was told they were out...who runs out of crappy ranch?
7. overall cleanliness of the store was nasty, tables not wiped down or cleaned, trash left on tables, and the flies were so bad that my son and I got a to go bag and left mid-meal.
I am not one to typically complain or even leave any kind of review, but this was a necessary exception. This restaurant is absolutely destroying the Burger King name, and someone needs to address this. We love BK and have been customers for most of our lives, but this experience is a deal-breaker. I will never set foot in a BK again. Please do not send coupons, or vouchers for free food, they will be thrown in the trash, as I wouldn't even consider giving them to someone.
What you can do for us though, is to restore the great food, service, and name to your restaurants especially this one in particular. I invite any higher-ups, managers, other employees to consider dining once at your competition one block away at Wendy's. Please, just check it out, and see for yourself how great customer service operates, as they knock it out of the park, every time. Your stores would do well with this same style of caring.
