Papa John's - Horrible service and no delivery.

I am truly amazed at how far Papa John's has fallen in the last year.

I made the mistake of placing an order with the local store #2483 at 5:55pm on 2/15/2021. I was told, by email, it would 53 minutes until it arrived. OK, so they're busy.

An hour and 15 minutes later, no pizza. No "lost" driver looking for the address, like last time. I mean, they can't even get close anymore it seems.

So, we call. The manager, we assume, says that it was Voided out. Why? No one answered the phone. Now, in the past 10 years, they have never called to verify the order or get directions. This time, when I have to wait an hour by the phone, they call, supposedly 10 times. Now, I didn't stay by the phone and my phone isn't ringing. If it won't ring, I have to sit and watch it for a call. Fun, for a hour.

Instead of delivering it, like they have for the last 10 years, they "returned" to the store and voided it. If I was willing to get in my car and drive across town, in the cold, wet rain, they would let me pay for it and then make it. Why would I do that after ordering delivery? And, I had just been there two hours before. I could have ordered it and picked it up then.

No apologizes, no attempts to make up for this new trend in calling to verify orders, nothing. Now, this owner has a history of trying make profits by pulling tricks. So, I guess he's had one failure to pay and he's taking it out on all customers. Or, he can't hire people who can read a map or know the are. Can they even find the motel 100 yards from their door?

Everyone raised a stink over Schnatter's comment. The company changed hands. Now, they can't find customers and they don't care about their reputation. I guess Covid-19 has them rolling in dough since delivery is the in thing. But, they're neglecting their long time customers. Well, they have one less to neglect.

They need classes on how to treat customers and teach employees how to read maps. Plus, not allowing stingy owners to play games with their reputation would be a nice plus.
